EU Parliament Slams Palestinian Authority Textbooks for Promoting Antisemitism, Terrorism

EU resolution calls for “due diligence, monitoring and control mechanisms” to “prevent any form of ideological infiltration in programmes financed by the Union.”

In a rare act of prudence, the EU Parliament adopted a series of resolutions this week criticizing the antisemitic content and incitement to violence found in Palestinian textbooks. “The European Union passed several resolutions condemning Palestinian Authority educational materials containing antisemitism and glorification of jihad,” the Jerusalem Post reported Saturday.

The resolutions, passed with an overwhelming majority, observed that the school curricula designed by the Palestinian Authority promote Jew-hatred and glorify terrorism. The parliament urged the EU Commission, the bloc’s executive body, to ensure that European taxpayers’ money does not go towards financing terrorist and antisemitic indoctrination.

One resolution stressed the “necessity for the Palestinian Authority to remove all educational materials and content that fail to adhere to UNESCO standards, particularly those encouraging antisemitism and including violence, to which Palestinian children should not be exposed.” The resolution further urged the EU “Commission to ensure that no Union funds are allocated, directly or indirectly to educational materials that contain antisemitic references or examples which incite hatred and violence.”

Another resolution called for “due diligence, monitoring and control mechanisms” to “prevent any form of ideological infiltration in programmes financed by the Union.”

The EU is the largest international donor to the Palestinians. Since the October 7 massacre, the EU and its member states have given around $ 2.2 billon worth of “humanitarian financial support” to the PA and other corrupt Palestinian entities.

The Jerusalem Post reported:

The European Union passed several resolutions condemning Palestinian Authority educational materials containing antisemitism and glorification of jihad, the Institute for Monitoring Peace and Cultural Tolerance in School Education (IMPACT-se) reported on Wednesday.

In the EU’s report on discharge in respect of the implementation of the general budget of the European Union for the financial year 2024, it called for any future funding to the PA to be conditional on the removal of ”antisemitic content, incitement to violence and the glorification of martyrdom and jihad” from textbooks.

The European Parliament’s budget report emphasized that EU financial assistance and engagement “should support education that promotes peace, tolerance and coexistence.”

It urged the PA to reform its textbooks and educational systems “that fail to adhere to UNESCO standards, in particular those containing antisemitism, incitement to violence, glorification of jihad and martyrdom, and the rejection of peaceful conflict resolution.”

The European Parliament noted that “education is a central pillar of peacebuilding, coexistence and preparation for a negotiated two-state solution” as well as a key component in countering radical ideologies, extremism, and intolerance.

The EU condemned Palestinian children being exposed to content that encourages antisemitism and includes violence.

The resolutions regarding the extremist educational materials were passed by a large margin, with 418 votes in favor, 207 votes against, and 14 abstentions.

The EU resolutions highlight the refusal of the Palestinian Authority to remove hate-filled content from the schoolbooks despite repeated assurances given to Western donors. According to IMPACT-se, an Israel-based NGO that monitors school education, PA-run schools continue to indoctrinate Palestinian children into hating Jews and glorifying Islamic terrorism.

It is worth noting that the PA is frequently characterized in the media as a moderate entity and as a desirable alternative to Hamas’ rule in Gaza.

The Israeli newspaper continued:

In July 2024, the PA signed an agreement with the EU to reform its curriculum, affirming its commitment to the process, but not all of the EU’s guidelines for the removal of violent, extremist content have been met.

As of November 2025, according to an IMPACT-se report, PA textbooks and educational materials still include content that glorifies jihad and incitement to violence.

Nearly 300 textbooks and 71 teacher guides used in the West Bank and Gaza were reviewed for the 2025 report. Within the materials, IMPACT-se found that the PA continued to “erase Israel from maps and texts, embeds antisemitic motifs, glorifies violence and martyrdom, and politicizes STEM and grammar exercises in ways that normalize conflict.”

In a 2025 study of Palestinian textbooks, released by the IMPACT-se in December 2025, it was discovered that “Israelis are not depicted as human beings, as in the case of one example, demonic monsters.” Children’s poems and texts likened Jews to “serpents, vipers, and Satan’s aides.”

“The EU is the largest international donor to the Palestinians. Since the October 7 massacre..” Shame on the European Union for being so late. The Holocaust wasn’t enough for Europe to endure God’s reckoning but they had to import and coddle ‘palestinians’ and other Muslims?

Welcome to the party, pal!

The amount of money that any person, state or entity should be donating to the goose-stepping, genocidal, parasitic, entitled, perennially belligerent, self-destructive, self-inflicted/self-imposed misery-wallowing Arab invaders from Arabia (“Palestinians”) is exactly zero.
