Nigeria on Easter: Military Rescues 31 Christians, Terrorists Kill Over 20 in Three Attacks

The residents said the terrorists operated “in the area for an extended period before encountering any resistance from security forces.”

Nigeria Christians experienced another bloody Easter.

The country experienced three separate attacks on Christians on Sunday as Christians celebrated Jesus’s resurrection.

The Nigerian military announced it has rescued 31 civilians kidnapped on Sunday morning during an attack on a church:

The attack occurred on Sunday morning in Ariko village, located in the Kachia area of Kaduna state.

Gunmen opened fire on congregants celebrating the religious holiday, leaving five people dead at the scene.

However, Caleb Maaji, chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria for Kaduna state, reported a higher toll, stating that two churches in the village were targeted and seven worshippers lost their lives.

“Findings are still ongoing,” Mr Maaji told Reuters, noting that the precise number of those initially seized remained unclear.

“Regrettably, the remains of five victims already killed by the terrorists were also recovered at the scene,” the army stated, as reported by The Washington Post. “The fleeing terrorists are believed to have sustained significant casualties, as evidenced by blood trails along their escape routes.”

The residents said the terrorists operated “in the area for an extended period before encountering any resistance from security forces.”

In another attack, the Mbalom community’s residents told officials that terrorists slaughtered 17 people. The community is located in north-central Benue State.

The third attack happened in Borno State at the police headquarters.

An ISIS-affiliated group murdered four police officers.

I’ve been trying to document all the Christian attacks in Nigeria, but it’s hard to keep up since it happens all the time.

Here are some recent attacks:

the left has nothing but contempt and evil for humanity

doesnt matter where the are or what disguise they employee

Total silence from the European, Canadian and Australian leftists, and American Dhimmi-crats, as per usual. These utterly vile, despicable and evil pukes are ideologically and temperamentally incapable of criticizing Muslim terrorist/Islamofascist attacks on Jews, Christians, Hindus and other non-Muslims.

And total silence from Christian leadership. Nothing from the Pope. Nothing from any Protestant leadership. Lutherans? Anglicans? Methodists? UCC? Bueller? . . . Bueller? . . . Bueller? . . .

Nothing. It’s as if the violence against Christians in Nigeria and other parts of the word just doesn’t exist. Isn’t happening. No statements condemning the perpetrators. Nothing.

The Christian church leadership simply doesn’t seem to want to deal with the issue of moslem violence against Christians.

But there we go and here we are.

Of course, Western media (the few who will bother to cover this) will say the killers are “terrorists” and “gunmen” and “ISIS-affiliated” and NEVER say the plain truth that they are Islamists acting in accordance with their Book and their religious leadership’s directives.
