Hilarity Ensues After Tucker Carlson Launches ‘Low IQ’ Merch Collection

“The funny thing is, the majority of the world does not pay attention to twitter or truth social or any of this. All they will see is a dude with a ‘LOW IQ’ hat walking around walmart…”

For as long as I can remember, it’s been fashionable on social media platforms like X to wear certain criticisms from other platform users like badges of honor by way of referencing them either in your bio or in a pinned tweet.

I haven’t done that in a long time, but when I did, I remember leftist commentator Matt Yglesias telling me to “f*** off,” and me putting the quote alongside his name in my bio at the time.

There was also the time when actor Russell Crowe blocked me back in 2012 on what was then known as Twitter for the crime of political disagreement. I thought it was neat to note in my X bio that the actor who played the big, tough guy Gladiator character got triggered by little ol’ me.

It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but when it is done in the context of social media and is confined to social media, it makes sense, and can usually be figured out by whoever is reading it pretty quickly.

But what about when you try to carry an insult against you or someone you support off social media and into real life? People who have fallen for Tucker Carlson’s latest merch gimmick might be getting ready to find out.

Before we get to that, however, let’s take a look at what prompted it: President Donald Trump declaring Carlson and other bad-faith pseudo-conservatives like Megyn Kelly to be “Low IQ” types in a recent Truth Social posting:

I know why Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones have all been fighting me for years, especially by the fact that they think it is wonderful for Iran, the Number One State Sponsor of Terror, to have a Nuclear Weapon — Because they have one thing in common, Low IQs. They’re stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone else knows it, too! Look at their past, look at their record. They don’t have what it takes, and they never did! They’ve all been thrown off Television, lost their Shows, and aren’t even invited on TV because nobody cares about them, they’re NUT JOBS, TROUBLEMAKERS, and will say anything necessary for some “free” and cheap publicity.

Carlson has responded by starting a “Thank You, Mr. President” collection on his merch page with hats that simply read “Low IQ”:

I guess they haven’t figured out yet that in doing this, they’ve basically proven Trump’s point:

Further proving the point was ex-Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene:

This X user made probably the best point of all, that most of the people at the places the Tucker hat wearers will go are not going to have any idea it has anything to do with what Trump said about Carlson:

Relatedly, if Tucker thinks turning into a Trump contrarian has done him any favors, he’s sadly mistaken:

Perhaps even more unintentionally hilarious about the “Low IQ” hats is the Tucker quote that sits at the bottom of the same merch page:

At the heart of everything we do is our firm belief in the dignity of the human person. We will honor your God-given dignity by always telling you the truth. And in so doing, we will once again prove the iron law that true things prevail.

Low IQ indeed.

Comments

A bright red, almost fluorescent “HIGH IQ” hat would be epic.

High IQ and common sense? High IQ and patriotic?

Tucker’s problem is not low IQ, it is low spiritual character.

Any word on how many hats Laura Loomer has ordered?😂😂😂

The majority may not follow social media but it doesn’t mean that it’s inconsequential.

Banning, censorship and MeToo drove politics for eight years, and we were its captive passengers. We’re still mired in Woke tar pits.

But, yeesh, wearing Tucker’s Low IQ gear?

I can not think of anything than better describes TC followers than “Low IQ” so I approve. MTG should get and wear a set of them.

I can think of other merchandise that TC should offer:

Quaterian
Jew-Hater
Gullible

to name a couple of them.

Considering that he has come out and said The Book of Esther. Is about killing Persians. Flip Wilson’s excuse (in a joke) was that the “the Devil made me do it.). No joke..Tucker.

He’s referring to Esther 9:1-17, about the slaughter of 75,000 proto-nazis who had hoped to wipe out the Jews. Antisemites routinely refer to this act of self-defense as a “genocide”.

It seems that the Jews on this site are conservatives clear thinking people. But only 25 percent of US Jews are republicans and I think it unfair to label Christians as antisemites because they find the other 75 percent of secular Jews annoying in their stereotypical, far left views.

ztakddot in reply to E Howard Hunt. | April 11, 2026 at 12:15 pm

I despise the 75% probably more than most and I;m embarrassed by then and have stated that many times.

No one is generally labelling Christians as antisemites.

If someone were to buy a hat that said Jew-Hater they would be self-labelling.

TC on the other hand is a Jew Hater.

What can one say about someone like Glenn Greenwald going all anti-Israel?

gibbie in reply to gibbie. | April 11, 2026 at 2:06 pm

          Or John Mearsheimer?

Milhouse in reply to gibbie. | April 12, 2026 at 9:16 am

What’s Mearsheimer got to do with it? He’s always been an antisemite.

Nothing, some things are better left unsaid.

gibbie in reply to gibbie. | April 12, 2026 at 4:54 pm

Milhouse: I guess your answer to my question is that one calls them Jewish antisemites. I guess Karl Marx was another one.

Perhaps atheism has something to do with it. And atheism may be due to God not living up to some people’s expectations.

Milhouse in reply to gibbie. | April 13, 2026 at 4:17 am

Gibbie, Mearsheimer is not a Jew. So while Jewish antisemites exist, he’s not one.

Marx was a Jew in the sense that both his parents were born Jewish before becoming apostates. He was raised a Christian, and then became an atheist, so it’s not surprising that he was an antisemite, but yes, he was born a Jew.

Milhouse, Thanks for pointing out the fact that Mearsheimer is not a Jew. I misread his Wikipedia article. This helps me to understand his Jew hatred.

schmuul in reply to E Howard Hunt. | April 11, 2026 at 2:07 pm

You are correct. I certainly don’t hate Christians or really anyone for that matter. I don’t respect most of what is called Muslim culture but on an individual basis I try to get to know people and not make assumptions. I certainly don’t appreciate it when people just automatically assume things about me. Fortunately, the only segment of the American Jewish population that is growing is the Orthodox, and we tend to be conservative. So while the Jewish population of the United States is very small it is becoming increasingly conservative. In another 20 to 30 years if we are still able to be in the United States I would predict most American Jews will vote republican.

Milhouse in reply to E Howard Hunt. | April 12, 2026 at 9:18 am

E Howard Hunt, no one is labeling Christians as antisemites. And Carlson hates all Jews, not just those who vote Democrat.

Tucker is disintegrating. Fox was right to let him go. He is liability.

Not his best marketing effort.
I would have gone with shirts with Tucker’s face, an arrow, and I’M WITH STUPID.

This is something Ace of Spades does – wearing a criticism as a badge of honor.

The Ace of Spades HQ commenters have been known for a long time as “morons.” I’m not sure how many even recall the origin of that slur (I don’t, but I think it was a lefty pundit). But, being the uppity contrarians Ace and those commenters can be, they took it and ran with it, to the point female commenters are known as “moronettes.” (More colloquially as “‘ettes.”) Their meatspace get-togethers are known as “Moron Meet-ups” or MoMe’s. I have a hat and a t-shirt with that word. (Also an insulated water bottle. My bathroom token and commemorative plate – a paper plate – don’t use that word.)

BUT…
The word “moron” is always in context of “Ace of Spades.” So it’s got the AoS logo or “AOSHQ” or something on it, so you know there’s a backstory and the word is probably being used ironically. The Tuquar hats don’t – they just proclaim that you’re “low IQ.”

E Howard Hunt | April 11, 2026 at 12:51 pm

Anyone can wear these hats with confidence. They come with a hammer to knock against your cranium in case your IQ exceeds 99.

If this “Low IQ” merch effort doesn’t pan out, the vile Qatarlson can always roll with “Qatari Prostitute.”

You have to be low IQ to spend $35 on this.

I’d say this is the worst marketing strategy since Bud Light decided they were the beer of the LGBTQAI++%#& ( did I get all the crazy symbols) crowd.

CA gov newscum promoting the low IQ brand?
