FBI: Woman Wanted to ‘Kill as Many Jews as Possible’ at Houston Synagogue

Officials also arrested a juvenile in Houston.

The FBI arrested an 18-year-old woman in North Carolina and a 16-year-old in Texas for allegedly plotting to attack Congregation Beth Israel Synagogue in Houston, TX, the oldest Jewish Congregation in Texas.

The court documents accuse Angelina Han Hicks of conspiring with two people identified as “Teegan” and “Angel” to attack the synagogue on April 21, 2028.

“The conspiracy is to kill as many jews as possible by driving through a congregation at a synagogue,” according to the court order.

Judge Carlton Terry demanded Hicks remain detained “to prevent communication or access to communication which is likely to place lives at risk.”

Hicks faces two counts of felony conspiracy: murder, criminal homicide and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

The court documents said officials have not arrested anyone else, but a few hours later, reports came out about the arrest of a juvenile in Houston:

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office confirmed that a juvenile female had been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit capital murder.

In a statement, the Houston Police Department said a 16-year-old was arrested after an investigation conducted with the FBI’s Houston office and the Alief ISD Police Department.

“This is not just a synagogue. This is a school with little children,” Houston City Council member Abbie Kamin told The Houston Chronicle. “Jewish communities throughout this state and around this country have to spend more in a single month on security than other community organizations spend in an entire year. The antisemitism, the threats, are nothing new, but they are increasing at an unfathomable rate.”

Hicks’s father, Dannie Hicks, decided to deflect blame elsewhere and make excuses for his daughter.

So gross:

“It’s ludicrous. It’s a fantasy game,” he said. “And that’s the way she looked at it — as a fantasy game online.”

Dannie Hicks questioned whether his daughter had the means to carry out any attack, noting she does not drive, does not own a car and has never fired a gun.

“It’s nuts what (investigators) done to her,” he said. “They’ve ruined her whole life and ours over this.”

Dannie said Angelina lived at home with him and her mother and was days away from graduating from Yadkin Valley Regional Career Academy in Davidson County. He said she was also taking courses at Davidson-Davie Community College through a dual-enrollment program.

He described his daughter as a kind, quiet young woman who had been bullied at school and enjoyed playing games on platforms like Roblox.

“She ain’t no problem to nobody,” he said. “She’s never created a problem for anybody.”

Good Lord, dude. No wonder these generations are soft and weak. Their parents refuse to force them to take responsibility for their actions. It’s never their child’s fault. It’s always someone or something else.

Their plan sounds similar to the attack on Temple Israel near Detroit, MI, in March.

Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, a Lebanese national, rammed his car through the doors of Temple Israel and drove down the hall.

The sheriff said Ghazali drove “with purpose down the hall.”

Whatever right ? You’ve got the loser band the Strokes calling for killing “ Zionist Jews” or say 80% of us and the entire Democrat party vying for who can hate AIPAC the most and call the Gaza war a genocide and the worst crime to humanity ever! Popular podcasters blame those shady Jews for everything and attacks on Jews are dismissed as whining or playing the victim card. No wonder young people want to kill Jews, all the messages are aligned that Jews ( or ahem zionists) are the source of all problems everywhere for everything. The best way to be popular these days is to be a complete Jew hating bigot. It makes you seem edgy cool , gives you a cause a friend group a convenient boogeyman man and there are no consequences.

America is in the throes of Spiritual rot. The Enemy has found the means to get hold of too many willing souls to do his bidding. It will be a long road back if we even make it back. Jew hatred is old and it stems from part hatred and some part ignorance.

Simple observation tells me that Jew hatred, which is thousands of years old and has taken root pretty much everywhere, is demonic in origin.

This is the only way to explain the astounding durability and wide-spread nature of this particular violent prejudice.

In America, common forces those who indulge in this hate to claim they are opposed only to Zionism (the desire for Jews to have a Jewish state) rather than Jews themselves.
Of course this obfuscation is rendered transparent by the fact that it is Jews who are not Israeli or involved in the putative crimes of Israel who are being attacked here.

Just being a Jew is, in fact, enough for the haters. As has been true for a very long time.

Hate centered on people of a different faith/religious tradition is bad, seeking to carry out murder based on that hatred is far worse. Be mad at the Israeli Gov’t if you wish and feel free to criticize its policies. Same for the USA. Israel ain’t perfect and like the imperfect US Govt there’s plenty of things to criticize. Plots to murder folks in a Houston Synagogue ain’t the way to go about influencing changes of Gov’t policy in Israel or the USA. It is a deliberate, inexcusable and irredeemably evil act to use folks as no more than propaganda pawns to turn them into expendable NPC in your fantasy/delusion with yourself cast as the Main Character.

i tell both sides of the ME conflict the same…hold your tongue!

Execute her so she never has a chance to reproduce.

Hey I’m going to hate those that hate and want to kill me.

she does not drive, does not own a car and has never fired a gun
Pretty sure that’s what the 16yo in TX is for.
Because she also isn’t in TX where the planned attack was.

Is it possible this is an overreaction or entrapment? Yes.
Should they arrest these people anyway because there is a very real threat? Heck yes.

Probably met online. Find out where and add it to the list for monitoring. AI would be good for that too.

Her dad said she was a quiet, nice girl that just liked online fantasy murdering Jews. I mean, his favorite game is “Fuhrers Stormtroopers” where he get’s to run around the Warsaw Ghetto machine gunning Jews but he never considered murdering those dirty kikes in real life.

I sincerely doubt Angelina is the mastermind. She (and the 16-year-old Texas girl) are easily-gulled teens intended as cannon fodder. That’s not to say she doesn’t need some prison time as a wake-up call, but Angel and/or Teegan is the driving force here.

I’m declaring the 48-hour rule for Daddy’s comments.
Read what he says, then apply to it everything you know about past FBI entrapment productions. Suddenly not so trivial to dismiss, right?

The father’s defense is that his daughter was was just playing an online fantasy game.
Are racist massacre games his idea of good, clean fun?

She’s just a kind, quiet girl who likes online fantasy games about mass murdering Jews. Nothing to see here.

This is a recent speech by this establishment’s senior rabbi, David Lyon. He seemed very exercised by “American nativism”, and by “the too-often-violent hatred of white Christian nationalists and of jihadis, all of them fed by the lies of Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens and their ilk”.

Somehow I doubt these two would-be attackers are acolytes of Carlson or of Owens. Perhaps it’s time these ultra-“Progressive” Jews who “struggle with our Zionism” should open their eyes to reality.

I wonder why that date, and why so far in advance? The junior partner would by then be 18, but unless she’s only just turned 16 a few days ago, that isn’t her birthday, so what significance did it have for them?

Not sure if they would realize it or not but starting at sundown April 20, 2026 is the Israeli memorial day followed the next day by Israeli Independence day. But that is only this year, Israeli holiday follow the Hebrew calendar so in 2028 those days fall on April 30 and May 1. So just maybe they saw that April 21 is a holiday this yr and planned it on that day without realizing it is not like our July 4, it moves every year.

      Milhouse in reply to ttucker99. | April 26, 2026 at 2:41 am

      I think that’s far-fetched.

BTW in 2028, since Iyar 4th will fall on a Sunday, Memorial Day will be on Monday May 1 (beginning at sunset on Sunday) and Independence Day on Tuesday May 2 (beginning at sunset on Monday).

And of course the dates are like our July 4, just on a different calendar. Memorial Day is on Iyar 4 and Independence Day on Iyar 5, but adjusted to avoid the weekend.

Both Teegan and Angel are identified as male. The 16-year-old arrested in Texas is identified as female. Does that mean she is a fourth member of the conspiracy?

Alex deWynter in reply to Milhouse. | April 25, 2026 at 11:42 am

It looks that way. ‘Angel’ and ‘Teegan’ are male … at least reportedly, but who knows. Neither has been arrested so far and even their last names don’t appear to be known, so they could be either male or female. My money’s on one or both of them being the mastermind behind the plot and having groomed/radicalized the 18-year-old and 16-year-old who have been arrested.

Angelina Han HIcks (the NC woman) is a high school student who was slated to graduate at the end of this semester. Her parents are (according to her father) older, not tech-savvy, and with ‘significant medical issues.’ Also according to her father, she’s quiet, shy, was bullied in school, doesn’t know how to drive, rarely goes out, spends a lot of time in online games, and takes ‘high-powered medication.’ She’s been declared indigent, has a public defender, and is being held on 10 million bail.

The 16-year-old girl arrested in Texas has not been named (presumably because she’s a minor).
