Tucker Carlson Responds to Iran Strikes With Wild New Allegations
“Qatar FM confirms that Tucker completely made up a lie about Qatar and Saudis arresting Mossad agents trying to plant bombs.”
Aside from calling the U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran “absolutely disgusting and evil” when questioned by ABC News’ Jonathan Karl on Sunday, Tucker Carlson had remained uncharacteristically quiet. That all changed on Monday when he released a nearly two-hour-long broadcast that was sheer insanity.
Carlson opened his broadcast by saying the war happened because Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “demanded it happen.” According to Carlson, the U.S. had no national security basis for entering this war. He accused Israel of seeking to destabilize both the U.S. and the Gulf States.
He also advanced a far more inflammatory allegation: that Mossad agents had been arrested in Qatar and Saudi Arabia while trying to plant explosives. He offered no evidence to substantiate the claim.
Following Carlson’s podcast, journalists tried to fact check this accusation, but came up empty-handed. However, on Tuesday morning, a spokesman from the Qatari Foreign Ministry confirmed that “there was no information regarding an Israeli intelligence (#Mossad) cell operation in the Gulf state at the moment. The statement comes following circulating suggestions that Qatar had arrested Mossad agents planning bombings in the nation.”

Widely followed X account @AGHamilton29 reported, “Qatar FM confirms that Tucker completely made up a lie about Qatar and Saudis arresting Mossad agents trying to plant bombs.” He added, “At this point, Tucker’s lies are causing serious diplomatic incidents.”
Separately, @AGHamilton29 noted that while Carlson blamed Iran’s strikes on locations in the Gulf States on Israel, Gulf State officials are blaming Iran.

On the Monday edition of her podcast, Megyn Kelly weighed in on the six American service members who have lost their lives so far in Operation Epic Fury. She told viewers, “No one should have to die for a foreign country. I don’t think those service members died for the United States. I think they died for Iran or for Israel. … No one is crying that the Ayatollah is dead, but our government’s job is not to look out for Iran or Israel. It’s to look out for us.”

During an interview with The Inner Circle’s Rachael Bade on Monday night, President Trump had harsh words for both Carlson and Kelly.
“I think that MAGA is Trump — MAGA’s not the other two,” Trump said, referring to Kelly and Carlson. “MAGA wants to see our country thrive and be safe. And MAGA loves what I’m doing — every aspect of it… This is a detour that we have to take in order to keep our country safe and keep other countries safe, frankly.”
On Kelly, Trump said: “Megyn was opposed to me for years when I ran the first time and nothing stopped me. And so, you know, some people are against — and they always come back. She came all the way back. But now I guess she maybe doesn’t like the idea of this war, but I do because I have to keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of the Iranians.”
Carlson’s insistence that Netanyahu led Trump by the nose into war is a lie. The reality is that rather than being maneuvered into conflict by an ally, the Trump administration’s rationale for the strikes rests on its own assessment of U.S. interests.
Since the 1979 storming of the U.S. Embassy — when Iranian militants seized 66 Americans and held 52 of them captive for 444 days — the theocratic regime in Tehran has waged a sustained proxy war against the U.S.
From sponsoring terrorism to defiantly advancing its nuclear ambitions, Iran’s malevolent leadership and its network of proxy militias have destabilized not only the Middle East but the world.
Together, they bear responsibility for the deaths and injuries of thousands of American service members across the region. The toll is not abstract. My son’s West Point roommate lost both legs after stepping on an Iranian-made IED in Afghanistan.
For anyone who has forgotten the scale and the persistence of Tehran’s aggression over the past 47 years, Substack’s DirectorBlue has compiled a list of 20 of Iran’s most egregious provocations.
When it became clear that Iran was reconstructing and dispersing its nuclear program to new sites after three of its largest facilities were damaged during Operation Midnight Hammer last June, the Trump administration began preparing for the possibility of war.
The world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, officials concluded, could not be permitted to acquire a nuclear weapon. Its recent willingness to launch short-range missile attacks against its Gulf neighbors offers a sobering indication of how it might wield far greater destructive power.
In a January 13 Truth Social post, Trump drew a red line for the mullahs. He would act if the regime executed any more protesters. He urged Iranian citizens to continue protesting, promising that “help is on the way.” At that time, roughly 2,000 protesters had been killed in the government’s crackdown on dissent.
Over the next month, tens of thousands more protesters were slaughtered. While an exact death toll is impossible to verify, estimates range from 30,000 to 40,000. And unlike former President Barack Obama, who drew a red line in 2012 over Syria’s potential use of chemical weapons only to retreat, Trump followed through with action when his line was crossed.
The U.S. should have fought back against Iran a long time ago. Unfortunately, until Trump, no U.S. president had the resolve to stop this regime.
Even rabid anti-Trumper George F. Will, who penned a December op-ed in The Washington Post titled “A sickening moral slum of an administration,” applauded the strikes on Iran. He wrote, “At last, the credibility of U.S. deterrence has been restored.”

I think Ricky was actually writing about his dog, not Carlson!
Will we see Qatar kick TC out now considering they have moved closer to Israel due to Iran’s ill advised actions? It will be interesting to see what happens.
TC was never a journalist but he sure is acting like a democrat journalist. He is talking out of his ass with no evidence to back up any of his claims. Is MSNews or whatever it is called now in his future?
As for Kelly I can agree with her that no US personnel should die for any other country however that is far as the agreement goes. Let’s look at the facts.
1) Iran declared war by capturing our embassy and holding its personnel
hostage for something like 444 days.
2) Iran has threatened to destroy us repeatedly in the last 49 years.
3) Iran has killed directly or indirectly 1000+ US service personnel.
4) Iran through its proxies has attacked US personnel and our interests.
5) Iran has threatened our interests in the middle east.
I would say there is enough there to warrant our preventing them for obtain a nuclear bomb and the mechanisms for delivering it.
As for the service personnel who idea it is very unfortunate but it is due to Iran targeting them in a foreign country. They’ve spammed missies to a lot of countries and not only attacked US interests but Britains who as far as I know wasn’t involved at all. They’ve gone so far as to turn most or all of the gulf states against them. Stupid decisi0n on there part.
Israel being a sovereign nation was always going to do what they had to do to protect themselves. That means ridding Iran if a potential nuclear capability as well as its missile/drone capability. In this the US and Israel are in agreement as to policy. It doesn’t mean one controls the other.
Kelley is wrong on her conclusions. They question is why she arrived at those conclusions.
Here are two comments I made in reply to Kelly’s post:
On “America first”:
DJT may be ending a 47 yr low-intensity war against the US. Ending a war against America (w/o asking permission from the UN or “allies”) is “America first.”
On the US/Israel alliance:
Nobody complained about the Israel/US alliance when Israel fought proxy wars against the USSR for us, preventing Soviet hegemony in the ME. Real “allies” tend to have mutual interests & regularly act in concert to promote those interests.
Comments on X must be kept pithy.
Each time Israel fought a war the US twisted their arm to stop them when they had the Arabs on the ropes. This was certainly true in 56, 67, and 73. Of course more recently the autopen admin did everything they could to retard Israel efforts against gaza.
In ’56 the USA treated Israel as an enemy, not as an ally. Eisenhower was the worst president of all time for Israel, worse than 0bama, perhaps even worse than whoever was running the Biden administration.
Though I believe Eisenhower didn’t actually hate Israel, and it was actually just collateral damage from his hatred for the UK. I’m not sure why he hated the UK, but it probably stemmed from his experience there in WW2. Maybe Churchill dissed him or something, and he took it out on them years later.
Yes, the US did do that. But because the wars (after the 1948-49 War of Independence) between Israel and its neighbors were fought by proxies of the US and USSR, there was always the potential that the two superpowers could come into direct conflict. (When I arrived in Germany in 1976, my battalion’s vehicles were still in desert camo, having been painted at the direction of the battalion commander in hopes of being the first US unit deployed into the fray during the Yom Kippur War.)
In the Yom Kippur War, US forces nearly deployed because it seemed Israel was ready to collapse. When the Israelis held and crossed the Suez, it looked like Egypt would fall, and the Soviets were ready to deploy forces in support. US “arm twisting” was meant to avoid a direct clash between super powers.
True fact: Israeli leadership during the YKW was so sure they were going to collapse that a “nuclear demonstration” over the Negev or Sinai was discussed. The idea was quickly dismissed, but it’s an indication of the amount of restraint Israel is able to exercise with regard to its possession of nukes.
Apparently Qatari air craft are bombing targets in Iran. What will Tucker do now that his new home has apparently been taken over by Israel?

Megyn Kelly is a grifter and a lightweight. Listening to her has always been a complete waste of time.
(And she needs another nose job.)
Exorcism might help.
Was there Israeli ‘influence’? I suppose a case can be made that Trump and Netanyahu discussed generally potential courses of action. So what? Why wouldn’t they? Both Israel and the USA have separate as well as overlapping National Security reasons to cooperate in seeking to take out the Iranian regime and their ability to make mischief. There’s plenty of payback the Iranians have earned from the USA over the nearly five decades since ’79 Embassy hostage fiasco to justify this. Add in their nuclear ambitions and bad faith negotiations so bump them they earned the ass kicking their getting and hopefully continue to get for the next several weeks.
Let’s not forget their contributions to world wide terrorism. Weren’t they also messing around in Venezuela?
IMO we really haven’t needed anything more than the ’79 Embassy attack/Hostage crisis to justify a sustained, thorough, decisive ass kicking. Admittedly I am very biased against Iran as they placed specific bounties on me and successfully killed or injured several friends. They’ve been providing material, technology, funding and personnel to just about any anti USA group including assisting hostile Nations for decades.
Some might say that Iran has a bee in its bonnet over US support for Israel. Although true, this isn’t necessarily Iran’s only motivation for its hostility.
Islam hates the West and Christians.
The US is:
a.) The leader of the Western world
b.) The leader of the Christian West
This alone is all the reason Iran needs to hate us, no “Israel” needed.
Actually that has it backwards. It might be more accurate to say that Iran has a bee in its bonnet over Israel’s support for the USA. After all, in the Iranian demonological heirarchy the USA is the Great Satan, while Israel is only the Little Satan.
This would be consistent with the fact that the USSR and its stooges in the Western Left opposed Israel only because it chose to ally with the USA. In 1948, while the rest of the world, including the USA, imposed an arms embargo on both sides and sat back waiting for the Arabs to massacre the Jews and finish the job Hitler started, the USSR (through its Czech proxy) supplied Israel with the arms it needed to prevent that.
That changed only when Ben Gurion decided that the newly independent Israel would align itself with the USA rather than the USSR. Suddenly the USSR and every communist and crypto-communist group in the world became anti-Israel and pro-Arab. And that’s where the current leftist support for the “Palestinians” comes from.
Thanks for restating what I already said:
“…Iran has a bee in its bonnet over US support for Israel…”
Yes, Israel aligned with the US instead of accepting the USSR’s advances, and that’s what caused the Left to hate Israel, but this has little to do with why Iran hates the US. And I had already commented on that, making the point that that particular reason is not necessarily exclusively responsible for Iran’s hatred.
Yes, but their choice of who is the Great Satan and who is the Little Satan implies that their hatred of the USA is not because of its support for Israel but rather the reverse, they hate Israel because it supports the USA.
Rubio made a rather unfortunately inarticulate statement which the Jew haters are cynically and despicably misinterpreting as indicating that Israel pulled Trump into war against Trump’s better judgement.
I dont believe he did
America is a big girl. If her friend jumps off a cliff, she knows she doesn’t have to do so as well. OTOH, if her friend is going to a club looking for hot guys, that’s in her interests too. She’s going to take up the invitation, and she doesn’t have to ask her mom and dad (UN, NATO) for permission. Some might say she’s going to the club as a wingman, but that doesn’t matter if she finds her own hot guy there too.
then post that statement!!!
he said that for weeks the usa knew israel was going to try and finish the job b/c of iran refusing to negotiate with trump
my take is also that israel knew that iran was still receiving “gifts” from ussr china etc to continue to deplete the american military by any means necessary
matt walsh than added to that that israel had dragged the usa in
and of course lefty loves the in fighting so they nailed that as their next big talking point
I don’t think his statement was inarticulate. And yes, seen in a certain light it can be interpreted to mean that had Israel been under Trump’s command he would have preferred to do things differently. Had Trump been willing to bully Israel and force it to act against its interests and sacrifice its people’s lives for the USA’s benefit, as Biden* and many previous presidents have done, then he wouldn’t have had to take this action.
But to Trump’s credit he wasn’t willing to do that, and given that Israel was going to attack Iran, and Iran was going to retaliate against the USA, his best available option was to get our retaliation in first. In our interests, not Israel’s.
What an utter disappointment Tucker has become. Such a pity that he did this to himself…unless this is the work of teh juices!! 🤔😂
Utterly disgusting thing to say about your fellow countrymen and women who died in voluntary service overseas. What sacrifice is she willing to make for her cause? Filthy witch.
Tucker made allegations which, by their very nature, cannot be substantiated. His sources would require anonymity and the affected countries might have good diplomatic reasons to deny the events. It is childish to accuse him of making it up out of whole cloth. He might be an unwitting dupe, or he might be relaying accurate information.
He can be accused of irresponsible reporting and fanning the flames of conflict because he believes the Jewish people have too much influence over American political decisions.
That’s as much speculation. Not only is it unsupported by facts, it’s contraindicated by verified videos and reports of missile attacks by Iran against other Gulf states. Iran responds to attacks indiscriminately against all those it considers enemies. It has reacted this way before. Occam’s Razor says the best explanation for explosions in other Gulf states at this time is “Iranian missiles,” not “Mossad.” Besides, Israel has too much to loose by doing such a thing and being found out. It would be a needless risk. Tactically, Israel doesn’t need the assistance of the Gulf states in the current war. Strategically it needs them as good neighbors, even if not actual allies. The idea that the Mossad is doing such a thing is absurd.
The thing that I find laughable is how big do these people think Mossad is? Israel is a small country with less than 10 million people. Do they think that all of them work for Mossad and so Mossad has the capabilities of doing everything it is routinely accused of?
Israel and the Mossad are blamed for much because of their well-deserved reputation for professional excellence. I had such a reputation myself at one time, and the rep generated tall tales (told by others) about my exploits. So I know how a reputation can get inflated.
The unhinged AZ senator, not Kelly, the other unhinged one, is going around saying US is not a world power because Israel tells us when to go to war. Antisemitism aside, this will likely become a democratic talk point. Thus TC is echoing the democrats. Not very republican of him.
Tucker going to get himself banned from gulf states. They don’t respect free speech there. Matter of time before he gets his visa canceled.
and did matt walsh help carlson spread this lie!!!???
Carlson opened his broadcast by saying the war happened because Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “demanded it happen.
Tucker, Jones, Kelly….. what happened??? Oh and Mark Steyn now in the dumps although another heart attack has happened. Tough times…. “Mostly Peaceful” Iran?
there is no argument
for centuries the muslims have fought the christians and jews for religious supremacy
the christians and jews basically tired of the fight as they advanced their mind towards capitalism
the muslims didnt get that memo b/c they are still writing on cave walls,,comparatively speaking
and the muslim quest continues as they blew up nyc and instead of being shunned…
they claimed victory and were given not just the keys to the city
but the city itself….america,,,you’re next
Real shame what’s happened to Tucker lately. Something must have ate his brain
He lives in Maine. Maybe radon gas is causing radiation damage in his brain.
Now he’s just making it up as he goes along. Sad really, liked the guy, did a lot of great interviews. But now, trying to stay relevant as his brand fades with this nonsense…not a good look.
It is sad. I would look forward to his shows during the first Trump administration. The CPL interviews were the best!
Unbelievable the change. He is now out where the busses don’t run.
I used to like Tucker.
Tucker’s dreams of Iran nuking Israel out of existence have been dashed, and now he’s lashing out in a panicked rage.
If Iran isn’t going to exterminate the Jews he hates so much, who will?
His world-view has been destroyed. He has no frame of reference.
My takeaway from Carlson is a brain tumor! I’ve never seen anyone go from where he was at FNC to where he is now so fast. There can be no logical explanation for his sudden change except physiological. Whatever the cause, he is now up there with the Don Lemons and Jim Acostas.
The U.S. had “no national security basis” for attacking the Islamofascist/terrorist Iranian regime, other than its having taken Americans hostage, in 1979; its having sponsored the bombing of U.S. Marines’ barracks in Lebanon, in 1983; its having supplied materiel used to attack U.S. troops in Iraq; its’ having sponsored innumerable other terrorist incidents against U.S. and allied targets; its’ persistent chanting of “Death to America,” the so-called “Great Satan;” its persistent efforts to obtain nuclear weapons, in service of Islamic “holy war;” etc.
The wretched, duplicitous, treasonous, perfidious, mendacious Qatari-funded prostitute, Carlson, should shut his greasy and evil mouth.
For months, so much head-scratching over what happened to Tucker, Owens, et al, (Qatar, money, clicks, TDS, what…?)
.
It might be simple. Jew hate. Not just from Muslims, but also from Christians who adhere to the same millennias-old ideas Inculcated inchildhood that Jews killed and still reject Christ. It’s a prejudice that is verboten to acknowledge in “mixed companY”, and for many Christians, even to themselves, but it’s there, simmering under the surface.
.
Didn’t we get rid of this prejudice some time after WWII in the U.S.? Or maybe, at least, after the 1950s civil rights movement? Maybe not. And so Jew hate got permission again in “polite society” to show itself publicly under the specious guise of the “anti-Zionist” label during the pro-Palestinian brouhahas after October 7.
.
This is distasteful to acknowledge for conservatives who are sick of, and have spoken out against years of ginned-up identity grievance politics on the left. And so articles and published opinions talk around it. “What happened to Tucker…? Inexplicable…”
.
Whereas liberal Jews for decades reflexively have attempted to stop Jew hate by posturing as supporters of every Jew-hating “underdog” identity group (“Please don’t hate me; just like you I am against those white Christian colonialists and slavers.”), Jewish conservatives who have aligned politically with Christian conservatives now are horrified by the possibility that for a percentage of their compatriots, they are only tolerated for purposes of political expediency.
.
So uncomfortable.
Carlson always gave signs of being an antisemite, he was just always careful to keep it subtle and deniable, so Fox wouldn’t fire him. Once he was out on his own he felt free to start letting his true self out.
Much the same thing happened with Pat Buchanan. People always suspected him of antisemitism, but so long as he was in the Republican Party he kept it on the down low. Anything he said was ambiguous and could be interpreted charitably. But once he left the party he came out of the closet as the antisemite he always was.
He was booted from the party and conservative movement for his antisemitism. I watched (and cheered) it happening.
I always thought he was a loose cannon.
Tucker has unfortunately gone to “the dark side”, inexplicable unless he had these biases all the time and kept them well hidden in the past. Whichever is the case, he has gone completely “bat$hit crazy”!
The whole premise of the “Bibi made us do it” is the absurd idea that Israel is the dominant partner in the United States/Israel relationship. The US has always been the dominant partner and while Israel has its own set of priorities, the US has far more leverage over Israel than the reverse.
If Trump disagreed with the timing of the attack, he would have stopped it. Israel is dependent on the US for both military and diplomatic support. While much of the world has hedged its bets on middle east policy, the US has always been Israel’s last line of support. They can’t turn their back on us if we are insistent enough.
Trump was very concerned that the US had not done enough to protect the protesters who were slaughtered. He had publicly drawn a red line about Iran’s crackdown on the demonstrations and Iran had ignored his threats. At the time of the peak numbers of demonstrators, the US did not have the forces in place to do much about the repression.
If Trump told the Israelis they had to wait, they would have waited. When intelligence of the meeting of Iran’s leadership presented an opportunity to decapitate the leaders of Iran, Trump was on board because he felt he owed it to the Iranian protesters. This is the context for Rubio’s comments. Trump liked the idea of hitting the leadership of Iran and he knew that Iran would retaliate against American forces in the region. He agreed with the Israelis on the timing and moved up the time table to make sure the US could limit the scope of the Iranian response.
This isn’t hard.
If there’s a guy in your neighborhood who got there by forcibly moving in to someone else’s house, someone you know, who goes around telling everyone he’s gonna kill you– and he shows this by hurting and scaring your family over and over again.
He’s especially cruel to his neighbor, whose windows he repeatedly breaks, who he also loudly wants dead.
You call the cops, but they never do anything.
Then, he kills one of your kids.
And again, the authorities do nothing. There’s no proof they say as he lobs a brick at his neighbor while screaming that he’s going to kill you, and him, and the authorities.
This is where we are. Where we’ve been for decades.
Finally, someone shot the f kr in the face.
Because that’s what should have been done after the FIRST attack.
Amen!
