Code Pink Invades Cuba, Enjoys 5-Star Hotel as People Suffer Through Blackout
These people held many events and hosted a concert with Kneecap, the notorious anti-Israel Irish band.
The far-left group Code Pink brought a bunch of international activists to Cuba to protest U.S. sanctions by President Donald Trump.

Far-left Code Pink activists traveled to Havana, Cuba, last week to protest the economic sanctions imposed by President Trump—while staying in luxury 5-star hotels that continued operating on private generators even as the island endured yet another nationwide blackout.

Yes, these activists partied it up while a blackout still plagues the entire island, including at luxurious resorts such as the Gran Hotel Bristol Meliá Collection. Those rooms cost between $130 to $520 a night.
The power grid failed on Saturday for the third time this month:
The Cuban Electric Union, which reports to the Ministry of Energy and Mines, announced a total blackout across the island without initially giving a cause for the outage.
The union later said the blackout was caused by an unexpected failure of a generating unit at the Nuevitas thermoelectric plant in Camagüey province.
“From that moment, a cascading effect occurred in the machines that were online,” said a report from the Ministry of Energy and Mines, which activated “micro-islands” of generating units to provide power to vital centers, hospitals and water systems.
That didn’t stop the activists, who included Isra Hirsi, the daughter of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Hasan Piker.
These people stayed in lavish 5-star hotels because the sanctions forced them to choose the resorts, according to Piker.
“The American government makes it illegal for Americans to stay wherever they want when they’re in Cuba,” Piker said, reported by Fox News. “They have to stay in what they’ve declared as 5-star hotels.”
Uh, okay, bro.
The activists traveled in air-conditioned buses to visit officials, including Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel.
These people held many events and hosted a concert with Kneecap, the notorious anti-Israel Irish band.
A Palestine-obsessed Irish rap group went to Cuba to play a concert for elitist American virtue-signaling vacationing Marxists while the power went out and people died in hospitals.
This is what real socialism looks like. The elites party and praise themselves while people die. https://t.co/etN3f0zajU

I’ve seen people on social media ask if the country diverted electricity to the hotels and concerts.
Others claimed people died in hospitals due to no electricity, causing ventilators to fail.
Thankfully, it seems that Cuba has restored some of the electricity.

BREAKING – It’s now been revealed the Cuban regime was forced to deploy armed security to protect the five-star hotel where champagne socialists like Hasan were staying, fearing locals might attempt to storm it in protest of the country’s electricity being diverted to the hotel. pic.twitter.com/fzm96NiNyQ

So, what little power generation capability they have is being squandered by people who shouldn’t even be there.
Communists invaded communists and one group of communists had a good time?
You know the old saying, beauty is only skin deep but ugly goes clean to the bone?
Medea Benjamin has ugly bone marrow.
Yes she does. So does Jodie Evans, another Code Pinko founder and wife of Neville Roy Singham, the communist POS who’s funding a lot of the subversive crap going on in this country.
Let’s drop a nice fat MOAB on the hotel where they are saying. CCP stooges and antisemites each and everyone of them. All anti-American everyone of them.
Things I would like to do to Piker especially. Well, I can’t write them here where children could read but I would very much like to get very creative.
Will they continue their tantrum when it becomes the 51st state that could possibly result in a bunch of blue votes?
Don’t let your mask slip, Code Pinko!
not Cuba.
yeah and barak and yassar and bruceeeee and all the rest lived it up while demanding the rest of the world submit to communism
so now will the gop defund public indoctrination centers??
nope
The Cuban Electric Union
sound like a great name for a kickasss rockband
Actually it was a pilot for a PBS show to teach Marxism to grades 1-2.
thought that was called sesame street
Beats The Miami Sound Machine all to heck.
What a bunch of utterly despicable, hypocritical, stupid and morally bankrupt narcissists, posers, attention-seekers and “revolutionary” cosplayers.
If narcissist-incompetent-dunce, Obama, was in the White House, he’d have joined with these coddled and elitist leftist/Dhimmi-crat pukes and he would have treated them to a baseball game at which they could all serenade and fete bloodstained former Cuban leader, Raoul Castro, like starstruck fangirls.
The moral rot runs deep with these Leftists. They are supporting a bunch of thugs that have enslaved and impoverished a whole nation.
Losers, pathetic losers.
MTG’s best friend
Tells you something right there
All paid for by Neville Singh. When is the Treasury Department going to cutoff Neville’s ability to send money to the US? I don’t care if he’s a dual citizen. He answers to the CCP. That makes him an enemy of the United States. Quit screwing around with this guy.
We should severely limit the ability to send money back and forth to any country, tax what is allowed, and cut of those countries which aren’t our friends like China and Russia. We should all d0 something about immigrants (legal but especially illegal) working her and then sending money to their home country. Perhaps only allow citizens the right but again limit and tax.
That is utterly stupid. It’s what impoverished Spain in the 18th century. Read The Wealth of Nations.
In your opinion. But it’s not. 200B is sent out of the US in the form of remittance. Top receiving countries are Mexico, India, and China,
What are you saying? Foreign remittances are what drove 18th Century Spain into economic ruin or that if the US banned them we would go broke? That’s not even close to what happened and not what The Wealth of Nations says.
I’m surprised that Cuba has 5-star hotels.
You go by the count of the BB hole “stars” in the lobby window.
BB reports:
President Donald Trump reportedly rejected Senate Majority Leader John Thune’s (R-SD) proposal to cut a deal with Democrats to fund the Department of Homeland Security without funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
so once again the gop is looking to let the lefty win
and when lefty wins
iran wins etc etc
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2026/03/23/trump-rejects-thunes-proposal-to-fund-dhs-without-ice/
Makes no sense. ICE is actually funded through the end of the year or so. (By the BBB.)
“BREAKING – All patients on ventilators at a Cuban hospital died after the Irish band Kneecap used massive amounts of electricity during a “humanitarian performance” for fellow communists”
Yeah, “Democrat (media) rules,” sez my tinfoil helmet. One of those things “that while not exactly factual, reflects a deeper truth.”
If their heroes gained complete power these people would be some of the first to die.
Those rooms cost between $130 to $520 a night.
Have you priced American hotels lately? Most decent rooms start at $130 or so. And those are not the fancy hotels.
if the country diverted electricity to the hotels and concerts
What I saw was people claiming the power went out because of the concert. Then they traveled back to the hotels through darkened streets.
But, that could just be propaganda against the Cuban regime. (It does happen. Just not as blatantly as pro-regime – like these Pink turds.)
Five Star hotels do exist in Cuba because Canadians snowbird vacation there. Of course “Five Star” is a subjective term but there are nice hotels there. As for pricing, you are attempting to force a capitalist concept onto a communist system. The government permits the in return for hoteliers providing them with a lovely source of foreign currency.

Ah, the WOKE Pinkos right in the heart of a communist dictatorship… the irony, the ignorance… the chutzpah of these losers! 1st, make sure their flights are canceled for a few months… then, reject their passports and question their citizenship… stretch it out for a couple years… They’ll sing different songs!
Latest story is that Canadians are continuing the avoid USA for vacations. I have a great idea…. why don’t they continue to support Cuba and take all vacations there? One workers’ paradise to another?
