Amid Ongoing U.S.-Israeli Strike, Iran Launches Missile Attacks on Arab Gulf States

IDF says Iran’s top military leadership eliminated, 40 commanders killed in opening strike.

The Iranian regime responded to the U.S.-Israeli joint strikes with missile attacks on neighbouring Arab states. A day after Iranian dictator Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in an early morning Israeli airstrike, the regime struck at least five neighbouring Arab states, not even sparing its long-time ally Qatar.

“Since yesterday morning, Iran has launched 25 waves of missile and drone attacks against targets across Israel, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait and Iraq,” the BBC reported Sunday.

Reuters on Sunday talked of “[T]hunderous blasts and towering fireballs from Iranian missiles streaking across Gulf states.”

By firing endless barrages, Iran is desperately trying to bring war and destruction to its Arab and Muslim neighbours. “Even in the Palm, Dubai’s swankiest resort, explosions rattled buildings and hit a luxury hotel, sending panicked residents running for cover as missiles and interceptors tore across the sky,” the news agency observed.

Iranian aerial attacks have nearly halted all commercial airtraffic in the Middle East. One person was killed, and 11 were injured in missile strikes at the airports in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

“Airports across the Middle East remained closed Sunday as the conflict moved into its second day. Emirates Airlines suspended all flights to and from Dubai until at least Sunday afternoon,” ABC News reported. “The Qatar airport was closed until at least Monday morning, according to Qatar Airways. Israeli airspace also remained closed Sunday.”

The Iranian aggression vindicates the Israeli position to dismantle the regime’s vast and growing stockpile of ballistic and long-range missiles. Besides Iran’s nuclear weapons program, its ballistic missile program posed a serious threat to Israel and the region.

In a press release on Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) highlighted the threat posed by Iran’s growing missile arsenal:

Prior to the launch of Operation ‘Rising Lion’ last June , IDF Intelligence identified activities of the Iranian terrorist regime, indicating a significant increase in the pace of missile production, including an attempt to produce approximately 8,000 missiles by the year 2027. These missiles constitute a real, direct, and existential threat to the State of Israel and to the Middle East.

IDF assessments prior to Operation ‘Rising Lion’ indicated that the regime possessed an estimated stockpile of approximately 3,000 missiles. The achievements of Operation ‘Rising Lion’ reduced the Iranian terrorist regime’s missile arsenal by hundreds of missiles and prevented the production of at least 1,500 additional ballistic missiles.

Iran fires missiles at Cyprus, targets British troops and bases

Despite Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s efforts to appease Tehran by refusing to aid the U.S. in its military operation against Iran, the regime targeted British bases and troops in the region. According to The Times of London on Sunday, “Starmer blocked US from using British bases for Iran attack.”

Iranian missiles targeted a British military base in Cyprus, a European Union member state. According to The Telegraph (UK), “Iran fired ballistic missiles towards Cyprus where Britain has a military base.”

“Two ballistic missiles were ‘fired in the direction of Cyprus’ on Saturday, but John Healey cautioned that Iran was not targeting the island,” the daily added.

British troops in Bahrain were also targeted. “Yesterday, British military personnel based at a US base in Bahrain were within 200 metres (656 feet) of Iranian and missile drone strikes,” the broadcaster added. “Around 300 UK military personnel are based there, but all are reported safe and accounted for.”

IDF says Iran’s top military leadership eliminated, 40 commanders killed in opening strike

The IDF on Sunday announced that “the Iranian terror regime’s defense leadership has been eliminated.” The majority of the Iranian military top brass was taken out in the first few minutes of the joint U.S.-Israeli strike, which began in the early hours of Saturday.

“As part of the opening strike of Operation’ Roaring Lion’, the Israeli Air Force, guided by IDF intelligence, struck and eliminated seven members of the top Iranian security leadership who had gathered at several locations in Tehran,” the Israeli military said in a statement.

“The majority of the highest-ranking senior military officials of the Iranian security leadership have been eliminated by the IDF,” the military disclosed. “With the launch of the preemptive operation, the Israeli Air Force has eliminated 40 senior commanders – a historic strike that was made possible due to the guidance of IDF intelligence.”

The Israeli Air Force was now practically in control of the Iranian airspace. “Having already dropped 1,200 bombs on Iran, the IDF, along with the US Air Force, is close to achieving air supremacy in Iranian airspace,” the Jerusalem Post reported.

The Air Force has “dismantled the majority of the aerial defense systems in western and central Iran and is paving the way towards establishing aerial superiority over the skies of Tehran,” the military assured.

The strike took the Iranians by surprise. Aerial footage on X showed Israeli Air Forces destroying Iranian fighter jets before they could take off from the runway.

Well, Keir Starmer sought to appease the Ayatollah, but quickly learned that when you sleep with alligators, eventually you get eaten, too. What an putz. How did a guy with the name of Keir ever become PM?

More important, how long before a mullah becomes PM.

Iranians are lashing out at everybody within range, making no distinction between those who attacked them and those who did not. Tells you everything you need to know about the Iranian mullahs/military; they hate everybody.

And look how differently that is treated by the media.

When it’s Russia attacking the Ukrainian energy infrastructure the media as it pains to explain that it’s Russia attacking civilian infrastructure. Additionally the leftist media absolutely does not sit unchallenged Russian propoganda.

Yet here, the media is bending over backwards to ignore the attacks on hotels, actual civilian infrastructure while allowing the Iranian foreign minister to spread their propoganda UNCHALLENGED.

If you didn’t hate the media enough, the come along and give you another 20 reasons to detest them even more.

We really do live in a period where quite literally EVERYTHING Trump does forces the left to oppose it for no other reason than to oppose Trump 🙄
