UC-Davis Holds ‘Know Your Rights’ Workshop on Encounters With ICE
“The workshop description states that attendees would learn about their constitutional rights and what to do if they encounter immigration officials.”
This is just feeding the left’s hysteria over ICE and they are doing it on purpose.

UC Davis hosts ‘Know Your Rights’ workshop on ICE encounters
The University of California, Davis hosted a “Know Your Rights” workshop focused on preparing students for potential encounters with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The event was organized by the Undocumented Student Resource Center, a formal Student Affairs unit at UC Davis, and took place Feb. 3 from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Student Community Center, according to the center’s website.
The workshop description states that attendees would learn about their constitutional rights and what to do if they encounter immigration officials. The listing also notes that food, drinks, and prizes would be provided and that the event was open to all students.
The Undocumented Student Resource Center operates as an official university office and describes its mission as empowering undocumented students and educating the campus community about policies affecting California’s undocumented population.
The center emphasizes leadership development, community engagement, and awareness of changing immigration policies, according to its mission statement.
Beyond workshops, the center administers multiple programs and services through university infrastructure. One such initiative is UndocuPathways, which provides financial support and structured academic components for undocumented students pursuing experiential learning opportunities.
The program is offered in collaboration with other campus departments and includes enrollment in a credit-bearing course through the Chicana/o/x Studies Department.
The “Know Your Rights” workshop appears alongside other immigration related programming on the center’s official events calendar, including immigration staff attorney hours and counseling services. These events are promoted through the university’s website as part of the center’s ongoing programming.
The workshop’s focus on preparing students for encounters with ICE places a federal law enforcement agency at the center of university-sponsored programming.
