Jasmine Crockett Thinks Texas Republicans Will ‘Absolutely’ Vote for Her for Senate
“I know the issues. They know that I know how to work across the aisle when necessary.”
Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) appeared on MSNOW this week and said that Republicans in Texas will ‘absolutely’ vote for her for U.S. Senate.
Host Michael Steele, who somehow used to serve as RNC chairman, provided no pushback, despite the completely absurd nature of Crockett’s comments.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, asserted that some Republicans would “absolutely” vote for her in a general election as the freshman congresswoman battles to become the state’s Democratic nominee for the Senate.
During an appearance on MS NOW’s “The Weeknight,” Crockett was asked by co-host Michael Steele whether Republicans could be convinced she is “the representative they need in Washington” if she were to reach the general election.
“Oh, absolutely,” Crockett replied. “Now, Michael, you can maybe talk about this a little bit more because I think the Democrats have a perception of what Republicans want.”
She argued that Republican voters “aren’t looking for somebody that is Republican lite,” and if they were, “they could just go and get the real thing.”
“What they want is somebody that they know who they are,” she contended. “I have text messages from Republicans that have made it clear that if there is a certain person that ends up making it through, they are absolutely voting for me because they know who I am.”…
“When Republicans went out and voted for a less than perfect candidate in Donald Trump — they don’t seek perfection, whereas Democrats typically do,” she claimed. “And, so, while I may not be their perfect candidate, they know that. I know the issues. They know that I know how to work across the aisle when necessary.
“And they also know that I don’t take any mess. And when you are Texas, then it’s a matter of you don’t mess with Texas.”

Crockett said, “Yeah, I mean, I don’t know that, we have to guess because they have been very overt with their words, not just Trump, but JD Vance. It has been kind of this we don’t have to hide anymore. We are the ones that are being targeted. We being white people, right? There is a lack of respect for the contributions that all of us make to this country.
Whether you are black Americans who did not arrive because we wanted to be here, but because we were dragged over here and stolen from our homeland, or whether you are immigrants that are simply seeking refuge and a better life for yourself and seeking asylum, or whether it’s just a matter of opportunity, because we used to have it where we felt like contributions from other people actually helped us.

No one was ever “stolen from their homeland” to come here. The slaves who were imported before 1808 were already slaves in their homeland. They were not stolen from there, they were legally purchased by the laws of their homeland and legally exported.
You don’t have to like the laws they had, but you can’t deny that those were the laws, as they were in just about the entire world at the time, and had been the laws for all of human history.
The idea that white people came and kidnapped Africans off the beach and carried them away by force is just not true. There are no documented examples of that ever happening. It happened when Arab slavers would raid European beaches and steal whomever they could catch, but European and American traders didn’t do that.

I think that she has been told that if she makes it to the November Election in the Five Blue Counties (Bexar, Dallas, El Paso, Harris and Travis) that the local Democrat vote counters will fix the votes of those poor, misguided Republicans to be for her. Since they removed straight-party voting in Texas it is a bit more work but Dominion and similar computerized tabulators can fix that.
Now that Dominion has the Sword of Donocles hanging over its head, maybe not.
Even with the new owners of Dominion, I still don’t trust electronic voting equipment. I haven’t trusted it for decades. That equipment can be hacked and it seems most hackers are Leftist.
