Fetterman Breaks With Democrats on ICE, Slams Nazi Rhetoric

“He really ought to lighten up, Francis,” Fetterman said. “Don’t call people and compare people to Nazis. That should be kind of fundamental at this point.”

Sen. John Fetterman is again breaking with his party on immigration enforcement, openly rejecting Democratic efforts to target ICE while forcefully condemning rhetoric that compares federal agents to Nazis.

In a wide-ranging Fox News interview, Fetterman pushed back on claims that a government shutdown or legislative brinkmanship would meaningfully restrain Immigration and Customs Enforcement, arguing instead that such tactics mislead the public while putting federal workers at risk.

“It’s not going to really deprive any kind of funding from DHS or ultimately ICE,” Fetterman said. “They have those effectively unlimited funds through the big, beautiful bill. It’s not really going to defund anything right now.”

Fetterman also warned that cheering a shutdown misunderstands how enforcement actually works and would harm unrelated agencies, including the military.

“We cannot shut down our military,” he said. “I refuse. We can’t be one of the people that would vote to deprive the military of getting paid.”

The most contentious portion of the interview centered on Democratic demands to restrict ICE operations, including proposals to bar agents from wearing masks during enforcement actions. Fetterman rejected that approach outright, citing the growing risk of doxxing and harassment.

“Some of those agents wearing masks, I think, primarily that’s driven by people who are going to dox those people,” Fetterman said. “That’s a serious concern, too. Absolutely.”

That observation cuts to the heart of the issue Democrats prefer to avoid. Comparing ICE agents to Nazis is not criticism; it is escalation. It is language designed to strip people of moral legitimacy and invite targeting. When elected officials use it, they are not engaging in debate; they are signaling to activists that harassment and exposure are justified.

Fetterman made clear that disagreement over immigration policy does not excuse endangering federal employees or their families.

“Don’t ever, ever dox people and target their families,” he said. “That’s part of the churn as well.”

The senator later addressed Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner’s recent remarks likening ICE agents to Nazis, comments that triggered bipartisan condemnation.

“He really ought to lighten up, Francis,” Fetterman said. “Don’t call people and compare people to Nazis. That should be kind of fundamental at this point.”

Krasner has accused Fetterman of becoming “the favorite Democratic senator of Donald Trump” and claims he has abandoned Democratic principles. Fetterman dismissed the attack as political pandering while reiterating his support for deporting criminal migrants and securing the border.

Throughout the interview, Fetterman framed his position as consistent rather than provocative.

“Secure our border and deport every criminal migrant in our country,” he said. “We agree with that.”

The full eight-minute interview also touched on Iran, DHS funding, and Senate politics, but the ICE dispute revealed a deeper fracture within the Democratic Party over whether enforcement itself is illegitimate or simply politically inconvenient.

Remember: Fetterman is the name of the doctor who created him… 🙂

You can kind of predict which way Fetterman will jump on some issues. He seems to have some inherent decency lacking in almost all democrats.

Krasner on the other hand and that idiotic Philadelphia Chief of police – they need to run into a gang of illegal aliens on a dark night in an even darker alley.

It’s got to be the stroke that jolted him out of Dem brain and into a streak of real human practical thinking.

He still votes Democrat on every issue. He talks a good talk but when pus comes to shove he doesn’t stray far from the Democrat plantation.

Oh great, Fetterman says some based things before lining up to vote for Democrats anyway.

Fetterman is good at talking the talk, but when it comes to walking the walk, he votes lockstep with the rest of his loony Marxist party.

Action over rhetoric; goes for all politicians of any stripe.

Can’t figure Fetterman out but maybe there’s nothing to go figure …
