College Fires Prof for Calling Charlie Kirk, TPUSA ‘Racist Pieces of Sh*t’ in Class

“went on to complain that TPUSA just started a chapter at the school”

What an ignorant thing to say. If you spend any time watching Kirk on YouTube, you know it isn’t true.

The College Fix reports:

Coastal Carolina CC professor fired after calling Kirk, TPUSA ‘racist pieces of sh*t’ in class

A psychology professor at Coastal Carolina Community College has been fired after being “secretly” recorded calling Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA “racist piece[s] of sh*t.”

According to WITN, Chris Schulte told his class “Did he [Kirk] deserve to die? No, but he was a racist piece of sh*t, and Turning Point USA is a racist piece of sh*t organization, and I will say it, and they just started a group on this campus.”

In the recording posted by TPUSA on X, Schulte added “It is unfortunate that it has come to this. It is, in my opinion, fascism. It is, in my opinion, a dictator trying to take over a country that is a democracy.”

Schulte, who’s a candidate for North Carolina’s 15th House District, also criticized the alleged hypocrisy of the U.S. being all about “freedom of everything,” but the “whole stupid Charlie Kirk thing” ended up getting people fired for not “liking” him.

“Isn’t that why professors got fired for saying [Kirk] was a racist piece of sh*t? Which he was?” Schulte asked.

Schulte went on to complain that TPUSA just started a chapter at the school, and that it had members “coming into […] classrooms and recording us trying to get us fired because they don’t agree with us.”

The professor ended by proclaiming “This is the end of democracy that you’re seeing firsthand.”

WITN reported on Feb. 20 that Coastal Carolina CC President David Heatherly announced Schulte had been removed from his $79,128-per-year position.

Heatherly’s letter cited Schulte’s alleged “refusal or inability to perform assigned duties,” “repeated discourtesy,” use of “vulgar, profane, or abusive language toward a student,” and “failure to follow policies and procedures.”

“Schulte, who’s a candidate for North Carolina’s 15th House District, “

wait,,you didnt state which political party he was running under 🙂

Psychology Professor, enough said.

Psych was the avenue that was used to bring leftism into Medicine as a whole.

From there is spread like a cancer to all of medicine.

Probably protected free speech. It was an opinion voiced by a professor at a public University in the classroom.

No, you don’t have the right to cuss at students or staff. It’s an abusive environment and likely a violation of the faculty handbook. I would file a complaint with the school if I was a student and heard faculty using vile language.

IF he cussed ‘at the student’ it might be different because he would have been targetting the student. As per the linked article the profanity was used as a description of Charlie Kirk and his organization. That would not qualify as harassment.

The opinion is protected. The vulgar way he expressed it is probably not. The university statement accuses him of: “refusal or inability to perform assigned duties,” “repeated discourtesy,” use of “vulgar, profane, or abusive language toward a student,” and “failure to follow policies and procedures.”. This means it was more than just the one incident, but at least part of the problem is the language he used to a student. Not about the student, but to them. So long as he knew of this policy in advance, and it enforces that policy equally regardless of the opinion expressed, it’s probably okay, though perhaps Cohen says otherwise.
