Walz, Who Called ICE the Gestapo, Whines About Feds Keeping Minnesota Out of Shooting Investigation

Walz, Who Called ICE the Gestapo, Whines About Feds Keeping Minnesota Out of Shooting Investigation

“It feels very, very difficult that we will get a fair outcome, and I say that only because people in positions of power have already passed judgment.”

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz held another press conference today about the shooting yesterday that left one woman dead.

Refresher: DHS claimed a woman attempted to run over an ICE agent, who then shot her. She died.

Walz already threatened to deploy the Minnesota National Guard.

At today’s press conference, Walz whined that the feds are icing out Minnesota officials from the investigation.

Yes, the man who once called ICE the Gestapo is mad that the feds don’t want him or his cronies near the investigation:

In rich corporations, who have risen to the moment they are trusted by people, people who are not by inclination, trusting of law enforcement or government, have come to see the professionals at the BCA [Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension] as true arbitrators that can get them justice. The unit is the result of years of scrutiny, public engagement, and bipartisan legislative action. Minnesotans have made it clear time and again they expect transparency through this process where a police officer uses deadly force. The BCA commissioner and Superintendent [Drew] Evans, have earned that trust by delivering on that expectation.

I think it’s clear to everyone, as they saw this, that it feels now that Minnesota has been taken out of the investigation. It feels very, very difficult that we will get a fair outcome, and I say that only because people in positions of power have already passed judgment. From the President to the Vice President, to Kristi Noem, have stood and told you things that are verifiably false, verifiably inaccurate. They have determined the character of a 37 year old mom that they didn’t even know. Don’t know. They’ve determined that the actions are done, I don’t know.

I’ve not used inflammatory terms of what happened. I’ve asked us to find the answers. The only way we find the answers is a thorough investigation by non partisan professionals. We’ve delivered that we’ve been able to do it. We’ve earned the trust.

And when I say that the trust of BCA and I tell Minnesotans the trust of law enforcement here, everyone knows, globally, certainly here, that George Floyd, who has murdered a few blocks from this site told the soul of who we were.

But we healed. We build back trust. Chief Brian O’Hara came in and took one of the most difficult jobs in America of building back trust in the police force in Minneapolis after Derek Chauvin murdered George Floyd. And he’s earned that, and he’s level and he’s fair, and he’s asking for that.

And so Minnesotans, I will continue to press that we be part of the investigation, that we do the investigation, so that Minnesotans can trust what the outcome is.

Wait, let’s back up. Walz thinks he hasn’t used inflammatory terms to describe what has happened?

Dude, you literally told people not to trust a federal investigation.

Honestly, I’m going to have a hard time believing a federal investigation. But I wouldn’t believe a Minnesota investigation either.

Let’s not forget all the Democrats who have already issued a verdict.

Yesterday, Walz said, “We’ve never been at war with our federal government.”

Gee, that sounds like Walz believes Minnesota is at war with the federal government.

Walz also said he hoped this shooting was America’s “McCarthy moment,” accusing the government of acting like Joe McCarthy.

You know, accusing them of causing fear due to unsubstantiated accusations and public shaming.

Then there’s the fact that he threatened to deploy the National Guard, which he repeated at this conference.

Not only that, but Walz said additional protection for schools “is a situation we’re going to have to explore, bringing up Ruby Bridges, who had to be escorted when attending a white school in Louisiana.

Give me a break.

He’s still doing the same threat posturing trying to bait Trump. Not going to work, Timmy. He’s not only smarter than you; he’s smarter than you think you are. And we haven’t forgotten about your Somali problem.

This may sound dark but, no one is talking about Somali grift being helped by the state. I’ll put money that he’s more than happy to keep the attention on this instead.

I think that it is probably even worse than that. When this whole fraud thing is fully investigated, I think it will reveal that Minnesota Democrat politicians not only helped execute the fraud but benefited financially and not just indirectly.

This goofy MF might have ended up as VP in a Harris admin.

Sugar Walz or Tampon Tim…. I’m not sure which nickname is more appropriate for this putz.

I have major disdain for any state that would elect such a pathetic loser to a position of power.

Good ole Walz:

1. He’s so close to the Somali Problem he can’t see the forest for the trees

2. He’s so stupid he thinks he’s smart

3. He leads by example—for example he didn’t go with his men when they deployed to Afghanistan

4. He __________________________________________

MN isn’t included because they’re irrelevant. An ICE agent in the course of his duty is subject to federal jurisdiction, not state. If MN tried to charge him, it would simply be removed to federal court. There’s no reason for MN to be involved.

The good news is the ICE Agent is 100 percent protected and need fear nothing. Read Andrew McCarthy’s column at National Review. Thank God above and Donald Trump we don’t have to witness another sacrificial slaughter like Chauvin. Yes, the State cannot lay a glove on him either. If they try the Feds will intervene and stop it dead in its tracks.

Don’t rule out MN trying to do something stupid.

(1) Walz called it a “killing” that was both “predictable” and “avoidable”
(2) Walz said, “The state will ensure there is a full, fair, and expeditious investigation”

Statement (1) characterizing the shooting as a “killing”, “predictable” and “avoidable” — implies a foregone conclusion of guilt before the “full, fair, and expeditious investigation” promised in statement (2) is complete.

“…people in positions of power have already passed judgment.”

You mean like sitting governor, former VP candidate, having decided what other people want, or believe; how the investigation’s gonna go?”

Sounds kinda judge-y right there, TT.

Another Yankee shows his a$$.
