Report: DOJ Withdraws Request for Don Lemon Arrest Warrant Over Church Raid

Last week, a federal magistrate judge refused to sign off on the arrest warrants for Lemon and four people.

This flew under the radar.

CNN quietly reported that the DOJ withdrew its request for an arrest warrant for Don Lemon and four other people over the Cities Church ambush in St. Paul, MN.

Lemon live-streamed the anti-ICE psychos storming into the church, interrupting the service.

Last week, a federal magistrate judge refused to sign off on the arrest warrants for Lemon and four people.

From Politico:

Magistrate Judge Douglas Micko said prosecutors had failed to present evidence to justify the arrests. Among the rejected arrest warrants were those for former CNN anchor Don Lemon and one of his producers, who had advance notice of the protest and were at the church as the events unfolded. Senior DOJ officials have specifically called out Lemon, a longtime antagonist of President Donald Trump, and argued that his role as a journalist would not shield him from criminal charges.

Micko did authorize arrest warrants for three people whom prosecutors described as leaders of the intrusion into the church, although he rejected one of the charges the Justice Department sought against those individuals, who were taken into custody earlier this week and then released.

The DOJ has not commented or confirmed the withdrawal of the arrest warrants.

The feds arrested three people for allegedly participating in the ambush, including the organizer.

yeah..it would be chilling and bad pr to fight this fight as its not a crime to report…even if you are not recognized as a reporter,,politics aside

now get pelosi and the rest this is legit and they are actually guilty

He was trespassing. Any status as a “journalist” was irrelevant. He and the others had no right to be within the church.

the fight would be centered on reporting..thats how and where this was heading

lefty wont be stopped for mere trespassing…the courts will barley consider that against them

we are a nation in major decline…trump has even given in to mn

they were not wanted nor invited into the church so I agree..trespass

Bloviate, investigate, then do jacks*t. Put it in Latin and the RNC can have a new coat of arms

Probably got little to f88k all chance of getting Lemon on anything in Democrat Minnesota 🙄

Ding! We have a winner. The evidence against the other church raiders is cut-and-dried. They have no excuse, no chance of putting up any kind of defense other than squawking “Trump administration hates free speech” to the media. But Lemon can raise a defense (although tissue thin) about being media and just covering this instead of instigating or participating. Yeah, he’s lying, but nailing down that lie in court would be tough as nails in that neighborhood. On the grasping hand, having him as a *witness* to the event, held to perjury in the event he wanders away from his words at the time and recordings, should make the rest of the raiders spend extra time behind bars. He’s got a big mouth, and every word he says on air is just another month or two in prison for the raiders.

How do you spell g-r-a-n-d-j-u-r-y?

The Justice Department withdrew its request for arrest warrants against Don Lemon and four others. The names of the four other individuals were not unsealed, however, the charges remain against the three individuals previously charged—Nekima Levy Armstrong, Chauntyll Allen, and William Scott Kelly—those charges have not been dropped.

According to unsealed court documents, federal investigators are specifically focusing on individuals who allegedly blocked the stairs to the downstairs childcare area during the protest at Cities Church—preventing the parents from reaching their children.

I am surprised none of those parents whose children were threatened too matters into their own hands.

Weird, with J6 the DOJ / FBI went after absolutely EVERYONE

If you were close enough to the Capital to see it on J6, you got arrested.

If you were in DC at all and were a Trump supporter, you got debanked, doxed, threatened, etc.

But, this? They just go after 3 of them? Outrageous!!

Of course they did. Don Lemon is simply too famous (for what counts for fame on CNN anyway) to face consequences for his actions.

Bondi, Noem, and Patel have shown themselves to be less than useless; they are active detriments to the causes they were elected to champion. Sometimes people ARE above the law. Your inalienable rights are negotiable actually!

But hey, as long as a liberal protestor or two dies, they can pretend they’re winning.

I seem to remember commenting here when this broke that no members of the Nomenklatura, especially the Leftist Nomenklatura, are subject to the law that the rest of us are subject to. This is no surprise, but rather the norm.

if a mosques doors were breached by people Im sure the pd/courts etc would be ruthless towards the “protestors”

This is BS. Everyone knows that except Lemon who thinks he was and is a journalist.

The administrative state is still in full control. Nothing of importance will change. None of the investigations will lead anywhere as the investigators will tank them.

1, This comes from CNN, therefore should be treated with extreme suspicion.
2. Does this mean they’re done or do they have other options? (Such as a grand jury as noted above)
3. Is the judge who refused one of the people sponsoring or otherwise involved with the signal-chat coordination of harassing and impeding ICE?
4. If the answer to question 3 is ‘yes’ when can we expect the judge to be indicted?
5. Just kidding. I know that’s not going to happen!

Message from our government: we will not protect you when you get attacked by one of our “special people.” Thus we are not safe in our homes, on the street, in church or synagogue, or place of business. What is to be done? Arm up. Get use-of-force insurance. Study the law. Get and read Andrew Branca’s book. Practice using your weapons so you are comfortable with them. Stock up on ammo. Carry pepper spray and other non-lethal weapons. Lethal force should be a last resort to save you life, or avoid serious injury. We are on our own. Guys like Lemon can attack us and get away with it. Very disappointed in Trump. He should never have appointed Bondi, and should dismiss her now. But he won’t. He’s basically timid.

This is not a bad thing. Withdraw the request and avoid the drama of an appeal decision. Instead, take the evidence against Lemon and the others that the magistrate rejected to a grand jury to attain the indictments.

How dare anyone tell the truth about a death cult?

Bondo Bondi is a coward much like the Republicans in Congress.

When will Republicans elect real Americans for their representatives?
