Nick Shirley Drops New Video on Minnesota Somali-Owned ‘Transportation’ Businesses

“You hate Muslims.” He asked, “Why are you [targeting] us? Are we the only community that suffers because of fraud? Are we the only community that does this? … Are you stupid?”

Independent journalist Nick Shirley’s exposure last month of alleged fraud among Somali-owned “day-care” centers in Minneapolis was soon followed by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s decision to end his reelection bid and a surge of federal investigators into the state.

On Wednesday, Shirley released a second explosive video in which he and citizen journalist David Hoch lay out alleged fraud among Somali-owned “transportation” companies that they claim have bilked taxpayers out of millions of dollars. Frankly, after watching this video, it’s difficult to draw any other conclusion.

Wearing hoodies emblazoned with the logo of “The Quality Learing Center” — the misspelled name of one of the allegedly fraudulent day-care centers exposed in their first video — the pair set out to visit the official addresses of these companies and, suffice it to say, had little luck finding them.

By way of background, Hoch told viewers that Minnesota offers a social service called “Non Emergency Medical Transportation.” These companies provide transportation (to those who fall below a stated income threshold) to and from doctor appointments, grocery stores, day-care centers, and other necessary trips, and submit the bills to the government.

According to Hoch, there are approximately 1,020 of these businesses currently operating in the state, and more than 90% of them are Somali-owned. Some of the addresses are located in houses, apartments, and convenience stores.

He said each company owns an average of 20 vehicles. Each vehicle averages 10 trips per day, and they charge $50 per trip ($100 for a round trip). Doing the math, he concludes these businesses charge the government around $7.2 million per year. Not a bad gig.

“These companies go online, and they fill out a form … submit that electronically to the state,” Hoch said, “and boom, they get paid.”

At any rate, armed with bodyguards — which turned out to be necessary — they visited their first address, which turned out to be a convenience store. They told the Somali clerk they were looking for Safari Transportation.

The clerk replied, “There is no Safari Transportation.”

It didn’t take long for a group of Somalis to approach Shirley and Hoch and accuse them of racism. The repeated use of this tactic has been a major factor in allowing fraud to continue unchecked in the state, an issue Democrats appear unwilling to touch.

A man told Shirley, “You hate Muslims.” He asked, “Why are you [targeting] us? Are we the only community that suffers because of fraud? Are we the only community that does this? … Are you stupid?”

Well, to be fair, there does seem to be a disproportionate amount of fraud coming from the Somali community.

The exchange escalated from there. The man ultimately had to be held back by Shirley’s bodyguards.

Next, Shirley and Hoch visited Dream Line Transportation, which at least had a parking lot with vans displaying the company’s logo. But the snow-covered vans showed no signs of having moved in months.

Hoch said he has been taking timestamped photographs of the lot that show the vans haven’t moved in at least eight months.

While searching for a company called Advanced Mobility, the pair found themselves in a flea market, where things got a little dicey.

Fox News host Jesse Watters interviewed Shirley on Wednesday night. He told his audience that “80% of Somalis are on welfare and they have a city-wide fraud ring. And now, they’re the victims? No, the victims are the taxpayers.

“Shirley couldn’t find a single legit business,” Watters said. “These are fake companies with fake invoices, fake cars, taking fake kids to fake day-cares.”

“Show me one mainstream journalist who has the coconuts to bust into mini-Mogadishus and stick a camera in their faces. This is one of the main reasons the Feds are even in Minneapolis. They’re there to catch crooks.

“But these crazy women are throwing their bodies and cars in the way — to protect the scam.”

The legacy media and progressive activists like Renee Good and wife would have us believe that Minnesota taxpayers, out of sympathy for their Somali “friends,” are willing to look the other way as fraud against the state continues. But Shirley’s exchange with an everyday taxpayer suggests that narrative doesn’t hold up.

The taxpayer said: “I’m a taxpayer, I don’t like it. … I work hard for my money. [The fraudsters] should go to jail.”

Asked if he thinks Gov. Walz should go to jail, the taxpayer said, “He’s crooked too. All of them crooked, all the politicians.”

State lawmakers in the Minnesota House drafted articles of impeachment against Walz on Wednesday.

Fox 9 reported:

According to the draft, “Timothy J. Walz has engaged in corrupt conduct in office by violating his constitutional oath to faithfully execute the laws of this state.”

The resolution is said to be backed by 10 Republican lawmakers. The Minnesota Legislature’s 2026 session starts on Feb. 17, 2026.

Currently, Democrats (Minnesota’s Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party) hold a one-seat majority (34-33) in the state Senate. In the state House, Republicans hold a slim majority (68-66).

Where this effort ultimately leads is uncertain. But as new allegations of fraud continue to emerge, Democratic state lawmakers who want to keep their seats may have no option but to support impeachment.

I yearn for a new lexicon that bans use of the word, “community.” Always trouble- community organizer, community of color, disadvantaged community, affected community. Replace with “mob”, please.

Ah, yes — whenever Muslim supremacist/Islamofascist grifters, subversives and parasites are caught in their predations and subversion, they reflexively play the well-worn Islamo-victimology card, from the bottom of their greasy and tattered deck.

That’s rich coming from a native of a country where the average IQ is 68.

I have on good authority that a speed bump has an IQ of 75.

It’s time for this guy and his compatriots to pack their bags. I’m tired of working hard so they can steal the tax money that’s confiscated from me.

Speed Bump doesn’t appreciate your comment.
(Speed Bump is a small stuffed animal lion that I noticed on a city street. After he remained there for several days, I decided to pick him up and bring him home. He now resides here with many friends in our collection of lost animals, most of whom I picked up from the road during my road cycling years.)

This is what 60 Minutes was pretending to do for all those years.

Golly. No one could’ve predicted that importing millions of people from a country whose culture is infested with tribalism, piracy, and warlords would result in a culture inside America infested with tribalism, piracy, and warlords.

Absolute mystery.

The excuse by the guy saying “are we only the community who does that” is like the excuse a little child uses when he/she says, “everybody does it.” Just because others do bad things is no excuse for bad behavior, or in this case fraudulent behavior. The excuse that others do it exposes just how infantile these people are.

Make sure nobody lets Keith Ellison, alleged AG, off the hook.

He is supposed to be prosecuting this corruption, but not a peep. At least Walz fell on his sword.

“Why are you [targeting] us? Are we the only community that suffers because of fraud? Are we the only community that does this?”

No, you’re not. But you are doing it, so someone has to investigate your community. Someone else can investigate the other communities, but being one of several such communities doesn’t insulate you from being scrutinized. “Everybody does it” is not a valid excuse for any sort of criminality.

Somali Fraudster: Why are you targeting us? There are other fraudsters out there.

Bonnie and Clyde: Why are you targeting us? There are other bank robbers out there.

Al Capone: Why are you targeting me? There are other gangsters out there.

Bernie Madoff: Why are you targeting me? There are other scammers out there.

Jeffery Dahmer: Why are you targeting me? There are other cannibals out there.

Good grief! Minneapolis is a cesspool. Need to clean out the illegal and speed up the removal of temporary visa holder from 90 day to one week. I thank a surge of Ice and cbp officers like Iraq is needed.
