MTG Refutes Allegations She Tipped Off Code Pink About Trump Visit to DC Restaurant
MTG: “Only the WH set up President Trump’s reservation at Joe’s, NOT ME!! I had ZERO knowledge of when his reservation was! The only people who could have tipped off Code Pink was the restaurant or the WH!”
Axios reported that the White House told Secret Service that officials believed former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene tipped off Code Pink about President Donald Trump’s visit to a DC restaurant.
MTG denies she did it, threatening to call her attorney.
The incident occurred in September, when Trump decided to dine at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab in DC.
Code Pink weirdos ambushed Trump at the restaurant, shouting “Free Palestine” and “Trump is Hitler.”
Apparently, MTG recommended the restaurant to Trump.

1. The President’s team set his reservation. I had ZERO involvement or knowledge of his schedule and when he would go to dinner there. The only thing I did was suggest the restaurant to him and give the phone number to his team. I believe I texted it to Natalie. They set it up on their own and never told me the date.
2. He went to Joe’s in September, 2 months before he turned on me and attacked me. We had no ill will and a great relationship at the time. And even now, I would NEVER do what you are accusing me of! I literally defended the President yesterday on The View when they were attacking him about J6.
3. I do not have Medea Benjamin’s phone number and do not have any contact with her. She used to stop by my office as she stops by every office on Capitol hill.

Nah, I think it far more likely that restaurant staff alerted Code Pink than MTG. Her comment about the Secret Service is correct, though. It’s not like the members of Code Pink are not known and how did the Secret Service allow them to get so close to the President?
