How did anyone on his staff not notice anything? The first thing I noticed was the agent with no head! How do you miss it when you blow up the photo!?
Then again, the staff probably knows that nothing matters and anything that comes after won’t gain traction.
The first part, whether it’s news or photos, always goes viral while any corrections or people pointing out the misinformation lurk in the background.
No one cares about facts. No one cares about the truth. We live in a society (you must say that like George in Seinfeld) with an obsession for drama and a facts-later mindset.
It doesn’t help that we live with a government filled with politicians looking for the next talking point that can propel them to the national stage and all the TV hits.
The Democrats know that whatever goes out first gets the clicks, and that no one cares about facts. It’s why they spread as much misinformation as possible about the Renee Good and Alex Pretti shootings instead of waiting for an investigation.
Oh, wait. Do they even want an investigation? A few do. The others? Probably not because it could ruin their narrative.
It’s disgusting.
Everyone needs to calm down. It didn’t help that DHS Secretary Kristi Noem immediately came out to demonize Pretti.
I do not care that evidence shows Noem’s characterization is probably not far off. The fact is, you just present the facts you know and leave it at that.
Stop with the drama. Stop with fake images. Just…stop.

Harry Reid asserted that Mitt Romney hadn’t paid taxes in something like ten years. Blatant falsehood but being a Senator on the floor of the Senate gave Reid absolute immunity from slander charges.
The MSM, typically, was happy to repeat Reid’s charges and, typically, uninterested in investigating the veracity.
Eventually, the truth dribbled out, although probably >90 percent of those that didn’t reject it immediately didn’t take note.
When asked about it sometimes later, Reid’s comment was “We won, didn’t we?”

Pulling the street patrols is OK so long as the locals will turn over the illegal aliens they have in custody to ICE. Those personnel surged to MN can do workplace enforcement raids at construction sites, hotels, convention centers, other hospitality venues and agricultural areas or set up TCP in the 100 mile border zone along East, West and Gulf Coastal areas along with Canadian border areas.
Not really. The police will just be ordered to never arrest anyone illegal. They don’t make it to jail, they can’t be turned over to ICE.
That should make for interesting city council meetings when the rest of their constituents figure out that a preferred class is being imported with special exemptions from any accountability. Temporarily it may work but over even an intermediate timeline I don’t see how this would work. Especially when the same blue jurisdictions likely to try it are also havens of tribalism where every appointment, every city council seat, every school board seat are jealously guarded by each tribe as part of ‘their’ portion of the pie. In such places it’s not gonna be easy to tell the tribalists that a newly imported tribe has special privileges/exemptions and get the existing tribes to lay back and take it.
Their constituents will be fine with it. They are literally fighting the federal government and dying in the streets for said class.

After the regular session is over and most if not all Senators have left, they allow some Senators to read their speeches into the record. Of course, nobody is really around to listen but that isn’t the point. It’s to get whatever they want to say read into the official Senate record. So I’m guessing that Durbin gave his little tirade during after session speech time and there was nobody in the Senate chamber to call him out on his lies and the fact that the ICE agent depicted in his picture was missing their head.

I guess my eyes aren’t that sharp. I see an undefined black area easily assumed to be a head in a black mask, like the other two, tured in some undefined direction. Otherwise, the rear agent has some sort of black gaiter on his arm, which doesn’t make a lot of sense because he certainly doesn’t have one on his other arm. When I look more closely, the black area doesn’t look like anything recognizable, but these days I can’t rule out it being something I just can’t make out.
Durbin knew what he was doing. Did it in the well of the senate because he’s protected by the “speech and debate” clause. If the R’s had a spine they would go down to the well and show a picture of Durbin and Chuck you Schumer taking turns in their knees. Do that and this crap will come to a complete stop.

I know the ICE agents get excited and upset but I didn’t know they lost their heads.
Dick Durbin is a foolish little man. While no one would question his greed, lust for power or survival skills, I can’t think of anyone who considers him bright, educated or honorable. His lack of integrity has been known for decades and he could only get elected in a state as corrupt and debased as Illinois. It’s pleasant to consider his political exit and think, “good riddance to bad rubbish.”
