Police Release More Video of Suspected Shooter at Brown But None at the School

What the heck is going on…

This is getting weird. No video from inside the school? Scrubbing students from the school’s webpage?

Video

The authorities keep releasing additional surveillance videos of the person suspected of killing two students and injuring nine others at Brown University.

Except…none are from the school.

Why do they lack video from Brown? Here’s an excuse:

Providence Police Chief Col. Oscar Perez Jr. said during a news conference Tuesday the agency only has video from outside the Barus and Holley engineering building, where two students were fatally shot and nine others were wounded on Saturday.

Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha added that while there are cameras inside the building, there was a major addition to the building within the last five years and the older section did not have many, if any cameras.

“The building is on the edge of the Brown campus,” Neronha said. “Where the shooting took place is at the edge of that building, and then you’re very quickly into a residential neighborhood.”

“There is no footage that depicts this individual that would be useful in identifying him, that we have not released you,” he continued. “I think you can tell from, frankly, the not very helpful quality of the initial footage, that our standard is pretty low. If we thought it was at all helpful, we would have and will release it.”

Found on another blog, a MIT Jewish professor murdered in his apartment

Boston is a skip hpe and a Jump from Rode Island , and he may have his Christmas list with him , did you know the mayor, of Providence RI
has a sign in his front yard that says free Palestine, and did you know the Palestinian students on that campus were celebrating the young women’s death at Brown, the media isn’t sharing this info, and now you know why the president of Brown will not share what the gunmen screamed before he open fire

Fat old white dude shot up kids in a college? Mmmmm.

Say, how come none of the reports mention what kind of a gun was used? Handgun? Rifle? Not a WORD about it from anyone? It’s the first thing that hets reported in every other mass shooting.

This whole thing smells.

Wasn’t that a thing with the first guy they detained? He had a gun that matched the shooting?

Kinda. The media reports made a big deal out of the 1st suspect who had several 9mm mag including extended 30 round magazines. The first time the Providence Police acknowledged the caliber from the podium that I could find was reported as the evening news brief at 1700 on the 15th. FWIW I put less than 90 seconds into the search so maybe there’s another more accurate timeline but the first two that popped up both came back with same thing, 1700 on 15th.

It would be handy to have an unobstructed video image of this guy’s face. Maybe since the Covid Mania is over we could get State Gov’t to go back to enforcement of no face covering/masks? Of course those States that junked instead of merely suspending the anti KKK no masks laws would have to reauthorize them. Given the adoption of current ‘fashion’ for the Shemagh and Keffiyeh by pro ‘Palestinian’ and other leftist ‘activists’ the d/prog would likely try to block it

Just have the news puppets refer to it as “The anti-Klan law.”
“No! We Democrats want the anti-Klan law junked for good!”
A nice dream… but you can never make the news puppets do anything that isn’t Democrat-approved.

For sure, not the legacy/corporate media 95/100 times. Occasionally they stumble on an acorn. New media is a different animal which is why legacy corporate media and the establishment in general gets so upset some of the new media have larger audiences, reach, influence than they do.

Take a look at this pic (posted on Instapundit) of the student whose web pages were taken down by Brown vs the close up pic above

It’s a race to the bottom: Brown University vs the Providence P.D.

He looks like a porch pirate walking through the neighborhood looking for Amazon packages.

OT: I see the discussion here of DC statehood has fallen off the radar.

I get the impression the person in the clips is a woman.

Sooner or leader the school and the authorities will find and pin this on SOMEONE and arrest them. Doesn’t matter if it is the actual perp or not.

If a devotee of Aloha Snackbar is arrested the campus gets burned to the ground by the Diversity and Tolerance Nazis. The same happens if it is a furry, illegal, cross-dresser or child rapist or some other politically sacred group. So any single straight white man who owns a gun and who has gone within a hundred miles of the campus could be the authorities’ next target.

Is it common for mass shooters to go for meandering, casual strolls down nice streets before opening fire on a bunch of students in a classroom?

Shame on Brown University for their inept handling of their press conferences and likely, too, their input into the investigation. Inexcusable replies to the easy questions: why didn’t the “old” section of the building have security cameras? Answer: Because it was old. Why was the web page of the Palestinian activist taken down? Answer: What page????
Brown deserves to be sued and defunded.

The dont want him found!!

1) the cost and work for a trial is not worth it especiallyyyyyy iffff

1) his agenda was pro blmplo >>maga is the enemy

lefty has already proved it!!!

They rarely charge blacks with hate crimes ( against whites)
they didnt want to release the known manifesto of trans people who murder

etc etc

they dont want this pos found

Engineering buildings tend to have lots of expensive equipment. Some of it could do damage if misused (a classmate knocked the local PBS station off the air with his senior project).

The lack of cameras is BS.

the admin probably had most of the cameras aimed at the toilets

Theories:

1. They know who they are looking for, and not releasing videos because it does not fit the preferred narrative.

2. Many of the cameras were previously turned off, so they could not be used to assist ICE in locating illegal aliens.

3. The university strongly suspects who the shooter is, and does not want to cooperate with police, because, well, they are opposed to law enforcement.
