Alleged Chinese Spy Linda Sun Said Hochul was ‘Much More Obedient’ Than Cuomo
“The deputy governor listens to me more than the governor does,”
A jury heard about how accused Chinese spy Linda Sun, a former top aide to New York Gov. Kathy Hochul and former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, once bragged about Hochul’s obedience when she filed a Happy Chinese New Year video.
Prosecutors have accused Sun of working as a Chinese agent in exchange for money and other perks.
The remarks came when Hochul served as second-in-command. From The New York Post:
“She is much more obedient than the governor,” the accused Beijing mole wrote to China consular official Lihua Li in a Jan. 25, 2021, message shown to jurors in Brooklyn federal court.
“The deputy governor listens to me more than the governor does,” Sun wrote in another text minutes later — punctuated with a sheepish grin emoji — sent to Huang Ping, who headed the consulate office at the time.
The messages, made public Thursday after being presented to the jury earlier this week, show Sun taking credit for convincing Hochul to film the video for the Chinese Consulate in which she wished viewers “xin nian kuai le,” or happy New Year.
The Chinese officials had asked for Cuomo to film the video, but Sun told them that she could likely get Hochul to participate instead, the messages show.
“Let me ask, but likely the LG can probably do it,” Sun replied to Li, referring to Hochul, in one of the messages shown in court.
“That would be great as well. Thanks,” Li responded.
Sun asked Li to give her talking points to pass to Hochul, making sure she mentions them in the video.

Ping’s private chef sent Sun’s family “luxurious salted ducks” from Nanjing:
“I want to eat salted duck,” Sun texted Ping during a chummy July 28, 2021 exchange, in which she also joked that she should get a “China-US Friendship Award,” court records show.
“My master is from Nanjing and has great skills. I’ll ask them to make them now,” Ping replied.
“I have a lot of family here, maybe a few more, all from Nanjing,” Sun continued, noting that her relatives would be “very happy” to receive the poultry delicacy.
The consul general then agreed to send Sun six ducks, and texted her two days later asking whether she had tried them yet.
“Well, I eat it as a midnight snack,” Sun responded.
“Thank you Ambassador Huang. The duck is especially delicious,” she added — ending the text with a licking-lips emoji to convey her pleasure.

While I cannot speak as to other peoples reaction to a spy for a not-so-friendly country bragging that her American government contacts are “obedient”, I can assure you I had to go to the toilet not for numbers one nor two but to spew the vomit my mouth could not contain.

You know, if she had simply told them that her requests were for the benefit of Communist China, she could have saved a lot of effort. I’m sure either of them would have done whatever it took.
Is there a reason the Chinese Ambassador hasn’t been expelled from the United States over this matter and the Chinese Embassy shutdown? Is there a reason why the United States government is apparently not reviewing the Visas issued to Chinese nationals and revoking them as necessary? It’s become very apparent that any Chinese national in the United States on a visa is suspect and should be dealt with appropriately. Revoke their visa and permanently expel them from he United States. We can no longer afford to harbor spies within our country.
On a side note, why are Chinese nationals caught importing dangerous viruses to the US merely sent back home to China? The things they have brought here can do mind boggling damage to human health and crops and the perpetrators just get the equivalent of a stern warning and sent home! I realize some have been charged but others have not. This country is asleep at the wheel on many things. Sadly this massive government can only spin so many plates at a time.
the answer to you and Lucifer is because Trump is a pussy! You may recall that in the most recent trade “deal” with China Trump allowed an increase in the number of Chinese student visas from 275k to 600k which is nearly a threefold increase in the number of Chinese spies legally in our country.
It’s a depressing tendency of Trump’s that has not gone unnoticed on the right.

She always stuck me as a sub who got where she was through other people elevating her for their own agenda’s. Totally pliable to the highest bidder and ready to serve whoever was in charge.
The more I see the evidence of foreign collusion or subservience by Democrats, e.g. Feinstein, Swalwell, Walz, Wasserman-Schultz and now Hochul, the more hilariously ironic the “collusion” accusations against PRESIDENT Trump become.
People seem to have forgotten old Schultz down in Miami and that fiasco not to mention Cocaine Mitch’s wife being to tied to the highest level in China. That is what made Walz so dangerous, there was no limit to the amount of damage he could have done as VP considering his love of China.
