Ukraine Agrees to Core Elements of Trump Brokered Peace Deal
“Our delegations reached a common understanding on the core terms of the agreement discussed in Geneva.”
Rustem Umerov, Ukraine’s secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, announced that the country has agreed to the core elements of a peace deal brokered by the Trump administration.
We appreciate the productive and constructive meetings held in Geneva between the Ukrainian and U.S. delegations, as well as President Trump’s steadfast efforts to end the war.
Our delegations reached a common understanding on the core terms of the agreement discussed in Geneva.
We now count on the support of our European partners in our further steps.
We look forward to organizing a visit of Ukraine’s President to the US at the earliest suitable date in November to complete final steps and make a deal with President Trump.

We do not have details of the peace deal, but it has 28 points.
Some say it favors Russia, but the administration said it “is not the final offer and that it would likely change.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said late Monday that “the list of necessary steps to end the war can become workable” after officials emerged from talks in Geneva on Sunday optimistic about progress. Zelensky said he planned to discuss “sensitive” outstanding issues with Trump.
Oleksandr Bevz, a Ukrainian delegate at talks in Geneva Sunday, confirmed the number of points were reduced but denied reports that the new plan consisted of 19 points, The Associated Press reported.
”(The document) is going to continue to change. We can confirm that it was reduced to take out points not relating to Ukraine, to exclude duplicates and for editing purposes,” Bevz told the AP. He said points relating only to U.S.-Russian relations were dropped from the latest draft.
Fox News reported that Russia hit Kyiv overnight, killing six people and injuring 13.

Other than the blood of its countrymen I don’t see what else the Ukraine has to bargain with??
What will Europe do? Cannot have peace, and definitely not world peace brokered by Trump.
What are they going to name this agreement? The Treaty of Versailles? As long as Putin is in office all they are doing is laying the groundwork for the next war, which will be nuclear.
Putins many things but he is not stupid
1. Who is ‘they’?
2. The same goofy ‘its only a temporary peace’ style of argument could be said about the end of every war which didn’t result in the virtual extermination of the enemy or perceived threat of same. See Carthage and Imperial Japan. Destroying infrastructure/sowing salt/killing or enslaving the remaining populace and/or dropping a couple of nukes tends to solve conflicts permanently or nearly so historically speaking.
3. You claim it will be a nuclear war so between which nuclear powers? Are you arguing Britain/France gonna Nuke Russia b/c I don’t see the USA playing that game nor do I see Russia using nukes offensively/first strike b/c that would potentially bring US nukes into play and they could always just use terrain to their advantage as they have historically and let enemy supply lines become overextended then counterattack, then there’s weather…
Russia is a regional player, at best. You want to be concerned about real threats to world peace then pay attention to China. Iran and Islam.
Here are some other treaties frequently labeled among the worst in history, including the Treaty of Lysandria, the Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo, the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, and, lastly, the Treaty of Lutatius (241 BC), which ended the First Punic War.
Similarly, the Treaty of Nanking (1842) and the Treaty of Tientsin (1858) forced China to cede territory, pay massive indemnities, and grant extensive trade privileges to Western powers, marking a period of national humiliation and foreign domination.
There’s no such thing as a Treaty of Lysandria…you pulling my leg? Guadalupe Hidalgo? I’d say it worked pretty well for the US, considering we didn’t want to govern Mexico. Brest Litovsk was rough on the Soviets but it allowed them to survive, which was the point. Plus, Imperial Germany didn’t last long enough to make it truly onerous.
Uh, ok. Does this deal include a refund to the American taxpayers for the $697 bazillion Biden bucks money-laundered through this fustercluck of a crime syndicate with a flag otherwise known as Ukraine??
If Russia doesn’t agree, then we can sell cruise missiles to Ukraine.
Dumb idea.
Russia is clearly wining.
Ukraine has no hope of achieving their “core terms,” without a massive influx of new troops.
Since the UK and France are determined to win, both nations should draft one million each to become new soldiers.
With 2 million additional troops, UK and France, in theory, might win.
The USA should close its checkbook and just stay home.
The UK and France can draft all those military-age male Muslims. Gotta do something to make them useful. Why not cannon fodder?
Not sure I’d trust them not to turn on “the infidel” once they’re trained. Not the first case of such infidelity. (pun accidental)
Macron would have no better success than Napoleon did on his ill fated march to Moscow.
Probably a good idea before they lose even more territory.
It’s curious that Sec. of State Rubio only learned of the plan after it was leaked (or so it has been reported). One would think Rubio should have been cued in in what was going on. One wonders about his non-involvement. The plan itself was apparently cooked up by witless Witkoff and clueless Kushner, so that tells you why it leaves much to be desired. We are all saved, though, by Putin’s rejection of the plan. No surprise there. Wonder what Trump will do, if anything?
Take EVERYTHING the media says with several sacks of salt. Do not trust anything at face value reported by the “media”.
NY Post, Breitbart and Westernjournal.com.
Thank you for making my point 🤣🤣
“Some say it favors Russia, but the administration said it “is not the final offer and that it would likely change.”
Deja vu. I think this is exactly the sentence I read two days ago. Then I saw a report that the deal was a hoax, somebody had released a document written entirely by Russia and not discussed by anyone else. Maybe it was even Rubio who said that.
Are we sure we know what is actually on the table here — if anything?
To your question, so far not.
Weird. I’m shadow banned again.
?? I see you
I think it’s the platform used by LI that plays games every now and then.
Regardless of Ukraine’s decision … Putin can’t be trusted … and in a few years he’ll invade Ukraine again or another country and start another war.
