Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) fell outside his home in Braddock, PA, leading to a trip to the hospital.

Fetterman’s spokesman said a ventricular fibrillation flare-up led to him being light-headed:

Statement from Sen. Fetterman’s Spokesperson:

“During an early morning walk, Senator Fetterman sustained a fall near his home in Braddock.

Out of an abundance of caution, he was transported to a hospital in Pittsburgh.

Upon evaluation, it was established he had a ventricular fibrillation flare-up that led to Senator Fetterman feeling light-headed, falling to the ground and hitting his face with minor injuries.

Senator Fetterman had this to say: ‘If you thought my face looked bad before, wait until you see it now!’

He is doing well and receiving routine observation at the hospital. He has opted to stay so doctors can fine-tune his medication regimen.

Senator Fetterman is grateful for the EMTs, doctors, and nurses who are providing his care.”

Ventricular fibrillation (VF) is no laughing matter:

Ventricular fibrillation is a type of irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia). During ventricular fibrillation, the lower heart chambers contract in a very rapid and uncoordinated manner. As a result, the heart doesn’t pump blood to the rest of the body.

Ventricular fibrillation is an emergency that requires immediate medical attention. It’s the most frequent cause of sudden cardiac death.

Symptoms include chest pain, very fast heartbeat, dizziness, nausea, and shortness of breath.

People at risk of IV are those who have had it before, a previous heart attack, heart problems at birth, heart muscle disease, damaged heart muscle, drug use, and imbalance of potassium and magnesium.

We don’t have more details. I hope he gets well soon!

Clintons?

Based Fetterman will be even more based when he’s a zombie.

Unlike liberals let’s hope he’s OK.

Given the changed nature of Leftist politics, and the fact that he is considered a heretic by many of the Left; there are questions.

I hope this isn’t a case of “hit his head and woke up a Democrat again.” Like an episode of Gilligan’s Island or something.

Not good. His days are numbered.

Upon evaluation, it was established he had a ventricular fibrillation flare-up . . .

Ventricular fibrillation. Yeah right, that’s the ticket. Fetterman had a ventricular fibrillation flare-up and fell. That’s what we’ll say, Too much coincidence for my liking. More likely a warning to Fetterman he’d better shape-up and vote the party-line from now on or something bad might happen to him, you know what I mean. (wink, wink).

V Tac is terrifying. I have Afib since a bad case of pneumonia 2 yrs ago

I called EMs, I had a heart rate of 246 afib

Lucky to be alive

I’m fearful of getting pneumonia again, had 2 vaccines prior to the pneumonia

I told my dr that pushed the second one, “ sure glad I had those vaccines”

He said quite credulously, “ oh they don’t prevent pneumonia, just keep it from getting worse”

Sounds like Covid “vaccines” to me

Which is what I told him, also that I wouldn’t be getting a 3rd

This is actually quite common for many viral vaccines. There’s also a low but non zero risk of contracting for any vaccine.

Fetterman had to be converted in the hospital, lucky to be alive

the affordable care act will cover him

I’ve had two episodes of SVT (when I lived in Pennsylvania of all places). The first time when my heart stopped fibrillating it settled into 240 beats per minute. I wouldn’t wish ventricular or atrial fibrillation on anyone. It’s a few minutes of some real scary sh*t, especially as your vision starts to go black from your periphery (and it’s not instant, you “watch” it happen as you lay down so you don’t drop).

Whether you agree with him or not, he’s not one of the bat**** crazy leftists. He’s willing to discuss differences of opinion. IOW, a classical DEmocrat rather than one of the modern DImocrats. Prayers for Fetterman.

Isn’t it odd that one of the more sane Democrats in Congress is the one who had a stroke a few years back?
.

Fetterman has no doubt come to the conclusion that his best friends are Republicans and Democrats are his worst enemies. I’m sure DJT, classy guy that he is, has already sent Fetterman his sincere wishes for a speedy recovery.

Cue up Quincey M.E. episode of cobra venom on steering wheel. Coincides don’t happen after his take on the Dem Party.

“Out of an abundance of caution, he was transported to a hospital in Pittsburgh.”
I’m seriously weary of this cliche. In this case, it was apparently a life-threatening emergency. I don’t think abundance of caution cuts it. How about, “In keeping with appropriate medical protocols, …”
