Paul Caron Launches New Version of the TaxProf Blog With a New Team
“I am delighted that exactly one month later, TaxProf Blog is reborn with new editors on the Association of American Law Schools site.”
This is great news. It looks like Paul underestimated the size of his audience.
From the new blog:
TaxProf Blog 2.0
When I announced on September 23 that I would be ending TaxProf Blog when its platform closed, I explained that the time had come for me to step away after 21 years rather than start anew on a different platform. I was blown away by the more than 300 deans, professors, and lawyers who reached out to say how much they had appreciated the community TaxProf Blog had fostered in both tax and legal education and how much they would miss the information the blog provided on a daily basis. Several individuals offered to help keep TaxProf Blog going, and several tax and legal education institutions offered to host TaxProf Blog on their sites.
I am delighted that exactly one month later, TaxProf Blog is reborn with new editors on the Association of American Law Schools site. I am grateful to AALS Executive Director & CEO Kellye Testy (and her leadership team) for recognizing the value of TaxProf to the tax and legal education community and to AALS Associate Director of Digital Strategies Amanda Brite (and the tech team) for their incredible work in retrieving and reformatting over 50,000 blog posts. I am thrilled that the TaxProf community will live on for many years at the ideal gathering place on the web for scholars, practitioners, students, and other friends.
