Harris Tells BBC She’s “Not Done” After Losing 2024 Election to Trump

Harris Tells BBC She’s “Not Done” After Losing 2024 Election to Trump

She hemorrhaged support across the entire Democratic base, underperforming her party’s Senate candidates and even lagging behind abortion-rights ballot measures in liberal states.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris, whose 2024 presidential campaign ended in one of the most sweeping Republican victories in decades, is signaling she’s ready to try again.

In a wide-ranging interview with the BBC’s Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, Harris made her strongest suggestion yet that she’s preparing another presidential bid. Asked directly if she would consider running again, the former vice president answered simply, “possibly.”

“I am not done,” Harris said. “I have lived my entire career as a life of service, and it’s in my bones.”

Watch the full video here:

Harris’s remarks, made during her London book tour for 107 Days, were a mix of defiance and self-reinvention, an effort to reframe her stunning loss to Donald Trump as a temporary setback rather than a rejection. She dismissed polls showing her as a long shot for the Democratic nomination and brushed off questions about her political future.

“If I listened to polls I would have not run for my first office, or my second office, and I certainly wouldn’t be sitting here,” Harris said, when asked about her low standing even behind celebrity names like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Harris also used the BBC platform to renew attacks on Trump, calling him a “tyrant” and accusing him of “weaponising” the Department of Justice.

“He said he would weaponise the Department of Justice, and he has done exactly that,” she claimed. “There are many… who are bending the knee at the foot of a tyrant.”

But back home, data and history tell a much different story, one that makes Harris’s talk of a comeback sound increasingly detached from political reality.

According to a U.S. News & World Report postmortem, Harris underperformed Joe Biden’s 2020 results in every battleground state, including Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, and Wisconsin, all of which flipped red in Trump’s favor.

“In all but North Carolina, 2020 victories for Biden turned into losses for Harris. And in North Carolina, Biden’s loss turned into an even bigger one for Harris four years later.”

Even in deep-blue states, the slide was dramatic.

“In New York, the Democratic margin had shrunk by some 1 million votes between 2020 and 2024. In Illinois, it was down by more than half a million. In Massachusetts, more than 375,000.”

Those numbers paint a grim picture for a politician now floating a 2028 comeback. Harris didn’t just lose swing voters; she hemorrhaged support across the entire Democratic base, underperforming her party’s Senate candidates and even lagging behind abortion-rights ballot measures in liberal states.

Her new rhetoric about “service” and “unfinished work” may sound inspirational in London, but the reality she faces at home is a Democratic Party still reeling from her loss and uncertain, unable to challenge President Trump effectively, and questioning whether she can lead them anywhere but backward.

As Legal Insurrection reported on election night:

“Donald Trump is the winner and has been reelected, with both Pennsylvania and Wisconsin being called for him pushing him over the 270 electoral votes needed… Trump is expected to win the popular vote as well.”

In other words, Kamala Harris isn’t just “not done.” She’s not learning.

For voters who remember 2024’s collapse, her insistence on another run might not read as resilience, but denial.

These people giving their entire career as a life of service, so it’s in their bones are the problem. Too many of these incompetents already, and she’s an especially good example.

I also wouldn’t call getting rich off the American taxpayers a “life of service.”

That career politicians serve the public is one of the three biggest lies. No doubt Kamala has been told one of the others.

Put the phrase “life of service” in quotation marks, and your comment is 100% correct.

What these lazy, career, private sector-avoiding, entitled, Dhimmi-crat apparatchiks actually mean when they pat themselves on the back in a nauseating, self-congratulatory display, for their alleged “public service,” is pursuing a life of self-enriching, parasitic self-service.

If only crone-harlot-dunce, Kamuluh, had had the fawning, obsequious and slavish support of 99.9% of American and foreign media outlets, instead of the support of 99.5%, she would have won the election.

Um, no. You’re done.

Oh she’s done. She’s cooked. The only thing in her bones is bull shit.

This doesn’t mean she can’t grift off the donor class and the taxpayer. She just needs to form an exploratory committee and enable everything she does a campaign finance for a future run for office.

Or if she wants to make a really big score she’ll pull a stacy abrams. Found a NGO, take in a zillion dollars, and pay herself a hefty salary plus generous benefits and an eye popping expense account.

If anyone knows how to handle the BBC, it’s Kamala.

We should all stick a fork in her. I bet she’d like that.

Reminds me of the 2-step program. Step 1, it gets worse. Step 2, it gets worse than you can possibly imagine. In her defense, 90 percent of those afflicted choose the softer, easier, way; which in the long run isn’t.

If there was a king it would be appointing you with zero votes.

There’s always sexual favors. It worked before.

Please let it happen! I want to witness Vice President JD Vance or Secretary of State Marco Rubio as the GOP nominee debating Kamala Harris.

If people think the economy is both good and going in the right direction in 2028 it will be another Republican victory.

If not it will be a victory over whoever is the Democratic Nominee.

The fact that crone-harlot-dunce, Kamuluh, is promoting her stupid, ghostwritten, loser-martyr memoir in a foreign city, instead of in the U.S., speaks to precisely the kind of malignant narcissism, arrogance and contempt for American voters that cost her the 2024 election and ensure that she will never, ever be elected president.

Not to mention, the miserable crone absurdly and maliciously accuses the current, duly-elected U.S. president of being an alleged “tyrant,” while giving an interview in the capital city of the country which the U.S. fought, to resist tyranny and to win its independence.

Such a contemptible display of historical ignorance and general myopia.

How do we contribute to Kamala’s 2028 campaign? I’m sure George Clooney can make this happen.

Please let her run. Please let her run. Please let her run.

Good lord. Her nationwide book tour implosion isn’t enough? If someone is telling Harris she is viable after burning over $1 Billion in cash and then burning every bridge during her book extravaganza they should be imprisoned.

For a moment, think about a world where your voting options were between a party with good ideas and a party with better ideas and the question of your voting preference was based on your beliefs of how well the candidate could actually implement and execute those promises.

I take some comfort and hope that with what Trump is assembling, Democrats as they now exist will be in the wilderness for the next 12 years and they won’t be able to cheat their way back into power. The judiciary will be reformed and purged of all their activists and we will live in a sane America where people can worry about real things in their lives and not the government destroying them through insane weaponization for radical anti American/Anti Christian ends.

I have a legit fear that in the 3rd Republican term from now, the swamp will return and the Democrats will seize the opportunity to return to power NOT through good ideas and policy the makes America strong, rather through the f**kery of the swamp creatures and weakness of the Mitt Romney’s, John McCain’s of the right (or fill in the blank, there’s plenty of them) who just want to get along feed their own vanity rather than serve their constituents.
