I’ve often wondered what it felt like in those places before things became….kinetic. I’m afraid it may have felt a bit like what it’s felt like here since July of last year. The fabric of our civil society is tattering.

The American male Conservative (of all faiths) is a man who has (typically volunteered to) serve in the military, believes in G-d, and depends on a balanced judiciary to uphold his rights.

I think the motivation for this assassination is the mid term election. Charlie Kirk was just to effective at moving young people to the right and getting them to vote.

While there are already many sickos on the Left who were publicly celebrating the shooting, the Left was in no need of a spark for voting motivation. They already had more enthusiasm than the complacent Right. They were already dialed up to 11.
With this shooting, now properly deemed an assassination, the enthusiasm gap will likely shrink, and we MAY even see some of the more moderate Democrats coming to realize just how insane and violent their party has become.

I don’t think that makes any sense. I don’t think the shooter intended any particular consequences, or had any sort of grand plan. I think it was more likely just someone who listened to all the people claiming Kirk was evil, and decided s/he had to do something about it. No thinking beyond that; perhaps not even capable of thinking beyond that.
But until the killer is caught all this is pure speculation. We don’t know the motive at all. We can guess but we don’t know. Weird things have happened in the past and may happen again; it may turn out to have nothing to do with politics. Maybe some whacko convinced that she’s been having an affair with him, and he’s knocked her up and now spurned her.
Remember that Jared Loughner turned out not to be motivated by politics, right or left, he was just a random crazy person and could just as easily have shot a Republican instead of a Democrat. And John Hinckley was just trying to do something impressive, and didn’t care what it was; he originally planned to kill Jimmy Carter, but was arrested and then sent for treatment, and by the time he was again ready to act Reagan was president so he switched his plans to him.

On Newsmax, UVU is reporting that the shot was made from a rooftop 200 yds away. The shooter was wearing dark clothing. The problem is that the surveillance video footage is not of very high quality.
My belief is that this was a professional assassination paid for by a Leftist dark money group. The assassin will probably never be found.

How many times have we witnessed conservative or pro-Israel speakers speaking on college campuses and being subjected to loud protests, disruptions, and even violent and destructive behavior by students and others on the far left? For years, we have been warning our universities that a tragedy was going to happen on one of our campuses if they didn’t get their act together and protect all who were on campus.
