Trump to Send Troops to Portland, Warns Antifa of ‘Full Force’

“At the request of Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, I am directing Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to provide all necessary Troops to protect War ravaged Portland, and any of our ICE Facilities under siege from attack by Antifa.”

President Donald Trump announced Saturday he is dispatching federal troops to Portland, Oregon, to protect Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities under siege by Antifa and other domestic extremists.

The order came after repeated clashes at ICE detention centers in the city, which the president described as “war ravaged.”

Trump announced the order on Truth Social:

“At the request of Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, I am directing Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to provide all necessary Troops to protect War ravaged Portland, and any of our ICE Facilities under siege from attack by Antifa, and other domestic terrorists. I am also authorizing Full Force, if necessary. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

The White House amplified the statement on X, quoting Trump’s directive to deploy “all necessary Troops” in defense of Portland and federal officers.

The announcement follows Attorney General Pam Bondi’s vow Friday that the Department of Justice will bring the “most serious available charges” against those attacking federal officers.

“I have witnessed the continued onslaught of violence perpetrated against ICE officers across our country. The Department of Justice will not stand idly by in the face of such lawlessness. The rule of law will prevail.”

Trump’s authorization of “Full Force, if necessary” marks the sharpest escalation yet in the federal government’s confrontation with Antifa-led demonstrations.

This ain’t the democrats 2020 world anymore.

Portland and Oregon is a good case of why shutting the H1 and student Visa sham down is long overdue.

Oregon has been teetering blue/red for 20 years. In the past 30 years, Intel and other companies have been flooding the state with socialist Indians. The number is probably 5k-10k in the 90s. Now them, their spouses, their kids, and their kids spouses and even their parents are here voting and tipping those elections. They are socialists to the core.

The Islamists they imported are all anti-semitic to the core.

I went to school with them, I worked with them, I was very close friends with them. They are voting Dem. All of them.

Hey, it’s like he is a deep state fink. Why does he always telegraph everything. No wonder he drives people deranged.

Is your point that you’d rather see him kick some asses rather than solve the problem by making the cowards slink away? I’d be disappointed too, but I suspect it’s a “grownup approach.”

destroycommunism | September 27, 2025 at 11:54 am

the biggest blockbuster poster child of THE story has got to be the Des Moines IA illegal criminal who is in charge of the schools

Forget the maryland dad story push them all to the backburner

this has got to be the epitome of dem

violence ( yeah Im going to use lefty narrative here) against children

parents????? where art thou??????

you onlyfans instagram facebook x phone in faces bs bible thumping douchebags gop scum where are you now on defunding these communistnaxi loving thugggs!!

get to it!!!

and maybe more/ most disturbing of it all is this lefty justification for the abuse of transparency:

Why was Ian Roberts’ identity kept secret until Tuesday?

The Des Moines School Board chose to select a superintendent to replace Ahart behind closed doors because it said it was necessary to bring in the best pool of candidates. District officials did meet with the public and staff to learn what they wanted in a superintendent.

Education advocates say choosing a superintendent behind closed doors is a growing trend.

This superintendent obviously could not have proper employment verification documents; only 2 choices: 1.) they knew and hired him knowingly or 2.) documents were forged. They need to go after the people who hired this guy.

It is time that every Democrat involve with placing the safety of children at risk start facing criminal prosecutions (I’m sure the big brains at DoJ can start bringing together the relevant laws bring broken pretty easily).

Until Democrats start facing consequences for their actions not a lot will change.

I don’t think that there’s enough money in little Bobby’s trust fund to keep him out of prison because he decided to throw a Molotov cocktail at federal troops.

Assuming that he doesn’t succumb to sudden onset lead poisoning.

Man would I LOVE to see vast quantities of Antifa brains and guts running in the gutters of Portland. Die, scum.

One thing I have to say: While totally support the Federal Government’s push to get rid of Antifa, get rid of illegals, and reduce crime in our cities,
a Democrat friend of mine (well he was untilI disowned him over Charlie Kirk) very much views the push of Federal troops into cities across the country as totalitarian and combined with the arrests and indictments of members of the opposition party, very frightening. Now I view those arrests and indictments as damn well deserved, but I think we need to remain conscious of how the President’s actions may look to “mainstream media headlines only” people.

CommoChief in reply to Hodge. | September 27, 2025 at 12:17 pm

Sure, good point. The long overdue accountability arriving for the lefty wokiestas will definitely be jarring for them. How could it not be when there’s been a prolonged period with a complete absence of meaningful consequences? Like a spoiled child told ‘No’ for the first time it will take the lefty wokiestas some time to adjust to the new reality where there are repercussions to their criminal acts instead of self congratulation and praise.

geronl in reply to Hodge. | September 27, 2025 at 1:13 pm

Your friend would cheer if a Dem President sent troops to cities to round up conservatives. Probably one of the 50% who thought the unvaxxed should be tossed in an internment camp etc.

Dolce Far Niente in reply to Hodge. | September 27, 2025 at 3:33 pm

Hardly necessary to “remain conscious” about how the MSM paints ANY actions of the conservative right.

We are totalitarian fascists who hate brown people; we got it, ok?

There is no possible way that any effective and necessary actions of ICE will be portrayed in a positive light by the media or lefty politicians. In the past, this concern (real or not) about the optics of conservative action have led the GOPe leadership to do NOTHING.

Those days are over; damn the torpedoes…

RandomCrank in reply to Hodge. | September 27, 2025 at 6:23 pm

We can safely assume that the media are on the side of every antifa puke.

henrybowman in reply to Hodge. | September 27, 2025 at 6:44 pm

Cue Tommy Lee Jones: “I don’t care.”
The left is going to shriek that we are fascists no matter what we do.
Time they got a taste of what that gets them.
It’s also time Antifa got a taste of opposition from someone who ISN’T a disarmed citizen or a complicit cop.

Antifa is the unofficial shock troops of the Democrats. Thats why they work so hard to explain it away as just an idea. Well, ideas have consequences. Get ready.

About time. While in town the troops should also detain the left wing members of the Portland City Council and the Multnomah County Board who refuse to allow the police to enforce the law. Also, a foray to Salem to arrest all the Democrats in the Oregon Legislature would also be in order.

Crawford in reply to Fred Idle. | September 27, 2025 at 2:55 pm

Federal charges against the politicians and administrators who failed to prosecute Antifa for various crimes, such as the attempted lynching of Andy Ngo.

Milhouse in reply to Crawford. | September 27, 2025 at 9:35 pm

They have no legal duty to prosecute anyone they don’t want to, and can’t be charged with anything for failing to do so.

Milhouse in reply to Fred Idle. | September 27, 2025 at 9:37 pm

Detain them for what? They haven’t broken any laws.

CommoChief in reply to Milhouse. | September 28, 2025 at 8:41 am

If we’re just looking for an excuse to detain them then Sedition would fit the bill. Maybe even indictments as antifa co conspirators given the current posture of local gov’t leaders in publicly seeking to organize and materially support a ‘resistance’ to disrupt lawful Federal Law Enforcement operations.

Will they beat the charge? Probably but that’s a different thing than beating the ride to a Federal detention facility following an arrest.

Milhouse in reply to CommoChief. | September 28, 2025 at 9:31 am

No, sedition doesn’t fill any bill. Remember that “mere advocacy” is absolutely protected speech, and can’t be illegal. Therefore sedition in the classical sense is perfectly legal. 18 USC 2384 does not ban sedition but only “seditious conspiracy”, which it defines as an actual conspiracy to use force against the USA. Like any criminal conspiracy it requires an agreement between two or more people to commit a crime, and an overt act by one of them to further their joint purpose. So in order even to indict legislators you’d have to show a prima facie case that they actually personally conspired with antifa members to commit violent acts against ICE. Not merely that they advocated such acts, or looked the other way when they happened.

CommoChief in reply to Milhouse. | September 28, 2025 at 12:12 pm

Meh we’re looking for a grounds for an arrest NOT necessarily totally legitimate grounds for an arrest. Lots of people get arrested and the charges are dropped or a grand jury refuses to indict…it happens but it doesn’t preclude the arrest.

‘You might beat the charge but won’t beat the ride to jail’ when a LEO is determined to make an arrest. Heck even a brief detention for ‘officer safety’ on an otherwise minor encounter can create grounds for an arrest. Some dude refuses to comply, pulls away while being cuffed, slaps away the LEO’s arm….now there’s resisting with violence and battery on LEO.

Is this all super ‘fair’? Nah but people talk themselves into an arrest every day and the question was ‘arrest for what’ there wasn’t any requirement to have the charge hold up.

Trump should consider a blockade of the city with electricity cut off. That should quickly break resistance.

They will certainly find a lot of terrorists to deal with there. Hopefully not at all gently.

My last “real” job was in the federal court system. Every few months my Marshal would be sent to Portland to do security at that courthouse. Portland Police Bureau did nothing to prevent the rioters from damaging the area around the court. They didn’t arrest and charge persons assaulted by Antifa. They did nothing to aid the business owners during the nightly rioting. I saw videos taken by FPS officers (Federal Protection Service) of the encampments of Antifa that were left undisturbed even as that violated city ordinances. All these riots were allowed by the mayor Ted Wheeler and other city leaders. The police were told to ignore violations of Oregon law. As a result Portland is a shithole.

I have never understood how the FBI, NSA, DHS, and other organizations have not already fully penetrated all antifa/trantifa comms, bank accounts, funding sources, and supply locations. Antifa may be stochastic and distributed, each branch/cell does need funds and ways to be directed by their leaders/inciters.

Probably only so much can happen in the time that Biden mob has been kicked out, and still being kicked out.

henrybowman in reply to iconotastic. | September 28, 2025 at 12:51 am

Kash and Trump still do not “own” the FBI and DHS. They’re closing in slowly, but they have too far to go. The mistake was not ripping the band-aid off on day one.
As for the NSA. nobody owns the NSA. The NSA pwns everybody.

MoeHowardwasright | September 27, 2025 at 2:57 pm

It’s way past time that the troops were sent in to quell antifa/transtifa. Do what Eisenhower did and order the troops to “fix bayonets”. The demonrats are going to scream fascist, racist, storm troopers either way. Make it count.

Excellent! We live 75 miles from Portland and have watched antifa destroy it. Go get ’em.

Now that Anti-Fa has been declared a terrorist organization, deadly force can be used against them. No more coddling them with bear spray. Lead poison is coming their way.

It’s gong to be incredibly problematic for Democrats when one of their crazies kills a US Serviceman in Portland.

On the flip side I suspect Democrats are getting all wet and moist at the thought of one of their crazies being martyred by a US Serviceman while protecting his life.

Now that Anti-Fa has been declared a terrorist organization,

No, it hasn’t been. There is no such “declaration” that can be made.

deadly force can be used against them.

No, it can’t be. No more than against anyone else. Deadly force can be used when it is the only way available to protect oneself or others, and in no other circumstances. It makes absolutely no difference who the target is. Even if there were such a category as “terrorist organization” it still wouldn’t be lawful to use deadly force against its members in circumstances when it would not be lawful to do so against you or me.

If Trump wants to take Antifa down he should just put a freeze on the sale or distribution of hormone blockers.

It’s clobbering time!

Trump is backing Portland Antifa into corner: if it doesn’t do anything it looks weak and loses any street cred it has. If it violently resists, Trump will crush it. Oh gee, what to do.
