Trump Hammers UN: Enabling Illegal Immigration, Rewarding Hamas Terror

Trump Hammers UN: Enabling Illegal Immigration, Rewarding Hamas Terror

“The UN has such tremendous potential, but it’s not even coming close… all they seem to do is write a really strongly worded letter, and then never follow that letter up.”

President Donald Trump opened his fiery address to the United Nations with a trademark story, mocking the body not just for its ineffectiveness, but even for its faulty infrastructure.

“All I got from the United Nations was an escalator that on the way up, stopped right in the middle. If the First Lady wasn’t in great shape, she would have fallen. But she’s in great shape. We both stood. And then a teleprompter that didn’t work. This is the two things I got from the United Nations, a bad escalator and a bad teleprompter.”

The punchline turned serious when Trump contrasted those malfunctions with what he had accomplished while in office:

“I ended seven wars, dealt with the leaders of each and every one of these countries, and never even received a phone call from the United Nations offering to help in finalizing the deal. What is the purpose of the United Nations? The UN has such tremendous potential, but it’s not even coming close… all they seem to do is write a really strongly worded letter, and then never follow that letter up. It’s empty words and empty words don’t solve war.”

From there, Trump pivoted into the central theme of his speech: blasting the UN for enabling mass migration.

“The UN is supporting people that are illegally coming into the United States… provided food, shelter, transportation, and debit cards to illegal aliens. Can you believe that? Millions and millions of people were pouring in—25 million altogether over the four years of the incompetent Biden administration. The UN is supposed to stop invasions, not create them, and not finance them.”

He argued that his policies had restored order and even saved lives:

“Once we started detaining and deporting everyone who crossed the border and removing illegal aliens from the United States, they simply stopped coming. This was a humanitarian act for all involved, because on the trips up, thousands of people a week were dying.”

Trump also issued dire warnings to European nations:

“Europe is in serious trouble. They’ve been invaded by a force of illegal aliens like nobody has ever seen before… What makes the world so beautiful is that each country is unique, but to stay this way, every sovereign nation must have the right to control their own borders.”

Turning to the Middle East, Trump excoriated UN members entertaining unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state.

“Hamas has repeatedly rejected reasonable offers to make peace. We can’t forget October 7. Some of this body is seeking to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state. This would be a reward for these horrible atrocities… Instead of giving in to Hamas’ ransom demands, those who want peace should be united with one message: release the hostages now.”

As he tied immigration and terrorism together, Trump issued his starkest warning yet:

“If you don’t stop people that you’ve never seen before, that you have nothing in common with, your country is going to fail. I worry about Europe… devastated by energy and immigration, this double-tailed monster destroys everything in its wake.”

And in his closing words, Trump laid down both a challenge and a vision, urging the world not to reward terror or open borders, but to reclaim sovereignty and strength:

“Let us all work together to build a bright, beautiful planet… We’re going to make our countries better, safer, more beautiful. We’re going to take care of our people. God bless the nations of the world.”

Watch the full speech below:

Trump’s speech was not the usual UN platitudes. It was a rebuke to the global elite: stop funding invasions, stop rewarding terrorists, and start defending your people. Anything less, he warned, means national suicide.

I confess that all I want to hear is that the USA is leaving the UN and kicking them out of NYC.

It is an organization of absolutely no utility except to enrich itself from the pockets of America.

Send the UN to Geneva.

The UN is a joke, but not a funny one.

Music to my ears. At last a US president tells the truth about the UN and the Third World, or as Michael Savage puts it, “The Turd World.” We don’t owe the TW anything. No don’t send us “your tired, your poor,
your huddled masses” who in reality yearn for a handout at our expense. The migrants of today are nothing like the oppressed Jews from Europe who came here to work and to contribute. My own family included.

What’s missing from the Trump speech: a time table for when the UN leaves NY and the US. A long time ago I worked in the UN and got a dose of the privileged, arrogant diplomats who know nothing and do nothing.

I’m of the opinion that we should keep the UN in NYC where we can exert leverage over them. I think it’s a good thing that the USA is the host of the UN because it reinforces that we’re the greatest country in the world. We can make diplomats and heads of state come to us. If Trump kicks the UN out, China will build them a palace overnight. China will do anything necessary to get the UN under its influence.

Just kick them out now. 30 days to leave. Then implode the building and allow NYC to build low income housing on the site.

Kick all the UN ambassadors and personnel out too. Reclaim and convert their homes as well.

I don’t care where they go next. I got some ideas but it really doesn’t matter.

Either leave the UN or just reduce our donations considerably. Raise Chinas. Require the EU to make donations in addition to those for their member countries,

Cap the UN budget and require each budget to be approved by security council (don’t know how it’s done now). Require major policy statements to be approved by security council. Cap all appointments above a certain level to be approved by security council, US stays in so we can veto.

It’s now been revealed that UN workers sabotaged the escalator, teleprompter and the microphone. That alone should cause a 75% reduction in what the US appropriates to that den of vipers.

If the UN financed and facilitated the invasion of our borders by the unvetted and unwanted, doesn’t that make the UN our enemy?

Asking for a friend.
