Trump Defends RFK Jr.: ‘I Like the Fact That He’s Different’
HHS Secretary RFK Jr. faced a testy Senate Finance Committee on Thursday.
HHS Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. had a heated Senate hearing in front of the Senate Finance Committee concerning the firing of the CDC director, vaccines, funding cuts, etc.
One reporter asked President Donald Trump about the hearing:
REPORTER: Senator Bill Cassidy said effectively, we’re denying people vaccines. Do you have full confidence in what RFK Jr is doing?
TRUMP: Well, I didn’t get to watch the hearings today, but he’s a very good person. He’s, and he means very well, and he’s got some little different ideas. I guarantee a lot of the people at this table like RFK Jr, and I do, but he’s, he’s got a different take, and we want to listen to all of those takes.
But I heard he did very well today, but it’s not your standard, it’s not your standard talk. I would say that, and that has to do with medical and vaccines.
But if you look at what’s going on in the world with health, and look at this country, also with regard to health, I like the fact that he’s different.

(I swear…if the government makes it harder for me to get my Adderall…)
RFK Jr. definitely has different takes than what we’re used to!
The hearing turned into a circus as they all do. The senators just want to get video clips for fundraising, don’t let the witnesses answer questions, etc.
I think RFK going off on the politicalization of COVID is the best clip:
SEN. CORNYN: Do you believe COVID-19 was politicized?
RFK JR.: Yeah, the whole process was politicized, Senator. I mean, we were lied to about everything. We were lied to about, about natural immunity. Were lied to about, you know, we were told again and again the vaccines would prevent transmission, they prevent infection. It wasn’t true. They knew it from the start. It wasn’t true because that’s what the animal studies and the clinical trials showed.
We were told that there was science behind cloth masks. The CDC allowed the teachers union to write the order closing our schools, which hurt working people all over the country, and then pretend it was science-based. All of these issues, and then I can show you like for example, Chairman Wyden was talking about me politicizing ASIP [American Society for Investigative Pathology] during COVID, the probably, the most famous scientists on ASIP was Martin Kuldorf from Harvard, the great, renowned, world renowned epidemiologist and vaccinologist. And he criticized the COVID booster mandates. They ejected him from COVID because he wasn’t in the orthodoxy.
The two biggest health officials at FDA during COVID, Dr. Gruber and Dr. Kraus, criticized the Biden mandates, vaccine mandates.
You know, President Biden said in August [2020], “I would never take that vaccine, the Trump vaccine.” And he came in he mandated it, and then he fired the two top health officials at FDA who said, “Hey, this thing has not been properly tested.”
So the whole process was politicized even today.
RFK Jr. just went off for 2 minutes straight tearing into the politicization of COVID.
The entire room went silent.
Watch:

When Kennedy is given time to answer, he makes logical sense, but the dems on the commitee want to grandstand for the sound bites.
He put my guy, Sheldon Whitehouse in his place, but that was an easy one. Whitehouse is an idiot.
He put them all in their place
What a bunch of idiotic shrills
I’d rather President Trump say, “ I stand with RFK jr 100%
But Trump has a way with words
This is what I’d actually wish Trump had said,
“Kennedy is MAHA and has the potential to make the most lasting positive impact on the US in decades. He is the right man for that job.”
Otherwise he gives wiggle room to the likes of Chuck Todd sycophants that believe Trump will remove Kennedy
Chuck Todd is one of the worst. Nothing more than a Dan Rather wannabe.
A gaslighter extraordinaire.
It would be helpful if Senators would wear patches of the Pharma companies that back them. Kind of like NASCAR drivers wear patches for their sponsors.
lol funny, but sadly so true
“(I swear…if the government makes it harder for me to get my Adderall…)”
It’s already hard enough.
We all suffer for the bad actions of others, both in and out of government.
Ditto for Lunesta! I used to get a year’s worth of refills at my annual physical. I could get my meds auto shipped from my online pharmacy at a discount.
Now I have to see my doctor EVERY THREE MONTHS to get a renewal, and I can only get a 30 day supply at a time from a local pharmacy..
healthcare is making us sick
With Trump’s trolling sense of humor, we shouldn’t discount the possibility that he keeps RFKJ on just for the pleasure of watching Democrats be forced to trash their own most iconic family for a full four years.
You just have to compare Kennedy with this insane trans
Dear God
https://x.com/libsoftiktok/status/1963687071723262011
The fact that all the right people are so pissy about what is going on at HHS under RFK JR and MAHA in general should tell us he’s doing fine. When you got the wokiestas, the Covid Karens, Fauci Fascists, the trans lobby, big Pharma, discredited medical groups/lobbyists who sold out to ideology long ago plus all usual lefty Sen, Reps and legacy media allies (whose ad revenue is dependent on big Pharma) all shrieking then clearly he’s on the right path.
The knives are out for RFK Jr. Tillis was, of course, an embarrassment. So was Cassidy. I’m a bit surprised Kennedy joined in the usual GOPe failure theater.
Over the past five years Tillis took $669K from Pharma while Cassidy took $667K from Pharmaceutical companies. Kennedy doesn’t have huge Pharma contributions but his three largest donors are United Health, LHC Group and Ochsner Health Systems, all health care and health IN companies. Money talks and BS walks.
‘I Like the Fact That He’s Different’
But mind you, in a fully binary, non-canine sort of way.
