Tlaib Explodes: ‘We Ain’t Going Anywhere, Motherf*ers’
“Every genocide enabler. Look at this room’s motherf*ers. We ain’t going anywhere. We are just growing and growing and growing. We are bringing siblings from other movements with us.”
The People’s Conference for Palestine in Troy, Michigan, already under fire for hosting speakers who openly called to “destroy the idea of America,” took another radical turn when Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) addressed the crowd with a profanity-laced tirade that accused both Democrats and Republicans of funding “genocide” while promising her movement is only growing.
Captured in clips shared by Twitter/X user @thestustustudio (Stu Smith), Tlaib’s speech blended personal history, attacks on U.S. leaders, and accusations against pro-Israel groups with fiery language rarely heard from a sitting member of Congress.
At one point, Tlaib lashed out at her critics:

“Every genocide enabler. Look at this room’s motherf*ers. We ain’t going anywhere. We are just growing and growing and growing. We are bringing siblings from other movements with us.”
She repeatedly tied her Palestinian heritage and Detroit roots to her congressional seat, framing her very presence in Congress as an act of defiance:

“Detroit sent the descendant of Sidi Abdullah Isa, who wouldn’t leave his land even after they shot him multiple times… They thought they could kill us, rape us, imprison us, violently uproot us from our olive tree farms, starve our children to death, and we would disappear. Well, guess what? Now we’re in Congress and we’re in every corner of the United States… Every genocide enabler, look at this room, motherfuckers, we ain’t going anywhere.”
Turning her ire toward pro-Israel groups and even fellow progressives, Tlaib denounced those who remain silent or accept “crumbs”:
🚨 Rep. Rashida Tlaib at the People’s Conference for Palestine: “Don’t be distracted by the sellouts in our movements.”

“More Americans are now signing the ‘Take the AIPAC out of US Politics’ petition. Don’t be distracted… Don’t be distracted by the sellouts in our movements who are progressive but for Palestine. They will be remembered for their silence… They will be exposed for allowing racist tropes to kill our people, to starve our children.”
In perhaps the most sweeping attack, Tlaib accused both parties, and Presidents from both parties, of “gaslighting” the public while funding “one of the worst crimes in history”:
🚨 Rep. Rashida Tlaib: “Outside of the decaying halls of the empire in Washington DC — we are winning.”

“You have been lied to, gaslit by a Democratic president and now a Republican president. Both parties vote time and time again to fund one of the worst crimes in history… Real change doesn’t come from the powers and warmongers in Congress. It comes from the streets. It comes from all of us mobilizing and seizing the power to resist and fight back.”
For critics, Tlaib’s remarks at the conference underscore just how radicalized the event has become, echoing the earlier sessions where speakers openly called to dismantle America itself. Now, with a sitting member of Congress using her platform to continue to hurl profanity and dog whistles at her political opponents while accusing both parties of genocide, the conference has only further cemented its reputation as a breeding ground for anti-American and anti-Semitic rhetoric.

She’s faking the street dialect. The correct form is “We ain’t going nowhere,” not “We ain’t going anywhere.”
“Any” is white grammar, and is used in non-assertive (negatives, questions) contexts for “some.”
Here are some examples.
Are there any examples?
There aren’t any examples.
“We aren’t going anywhere,” not “We aren’t going somewhere.”
Interesting what some people get from a post. Her keffiyeh clashed with her outfit, too. Why nothing about playing cards? As per her fakery, she was only talking the ay she does. Her actual fakery is pretending to be humanist.
It’s one of those things that you know but perhaps never explicitly know in a rule. There are about 2000 pages of those in A Comprehensive Grammar of the English Language, Quirk Greenbaum Leech and Swartvik, so called descriptive grammar, rules for what sounds wrong, as opposed to prescriptive grammar, rules you have to follow in school.
Things that always trip up non-native speakers but never trip up native speakers.
The grammatical fetish has NOTHING to do with the post, however, and pretending to know she was faking street dialect is poor form, as is the failure to raise the morality card so important to refute her claims.
Street dialect claims support from common sense. Isn’t it important to say that she’s faking street dialect? It’s not an idle grammar observation.
Missing the obvious forest for a silly tree.
Perhaps not, but judging from the number of comments being made about his original post, he has successfully hijacked the thread.
Anything to deflect from the unhinged Jew-hatred that you support 100%. GFY hardin.
There is no final “g” in going if you want to be street. The phrase is “we ain’t goin nowhere”.
Then she will go to the well of Congress and cry tears.
Censure this hateful person. She deserves to be expelled.
What she deserves I can’t say or I’ll be sent to LI jail temporarily. Use your imagination. To think Jews survived a true genocide only have to once again contend with “animals” wanting another.
She deserves to be thrown from Congress. Otherwise, she can run her mouth and help illustrate the true face of the noble Palestinian cause.
Why is this monster allowed in our Congress?
If your an officer in the army you must rescind a second citizenship
This rhetoric shouts absolutely get her kicked out
Don’t be a chicken all your life Mr Johnson!
Not gonna happen b/c the GoP doesn’t have the votes. It takes a 2/3 majority to vote for expelling a member so roughly 290 ish is the threshold. The GoP has what 219 current members so unless you know of 70+ d/prog who will vote to expel her…Heck I’d lay odds we couldn’t get 219 GoP votes to expel so that’s even more d/prog votes needed.
Worse than that, she spoke the same way before the election. She’s been speaking the same way for years. And Congress has for well over a century taken the view that it can only expel a member for an offense committed since the last election. The Supreme Court has taken official notice of this, and documented it, while carefully not expressing an opinion on it.
I don’t think SCOTUS would want the Judiciary to enter a pissing contest with a 2/3 majority of Congress about whether Congress may continue to exercise black letter Constitutional powers v being constrained by some ‘use of discretion precedent’ that b/c they exercised discretion on prior occasions they are somehow obliged to continue to do so.
Art I seems very clear. ‘Each House may determine the rules of its proceedings, punish its members for disorderly behavior, and with concurrence of 2/3 expel a member’ Any attempt to undermine this by SCOTUS would be a foolhardy undertaking IMO b/c Congress has many more tools to use v Judiciary. I don’t see a Speaker of any party rolling over for that and not simply ignoring SCOTUS then proceeding to use that 2/3 majority to shank the Judiciary.
SCOTUS documented that Congress has for well over a century been of the opinion that it lacks the power to expel members for old offenses. SCOTUS itself carefully did not express an opinion on this, but merely noted the fact that multiple Congresses have held this opinion, so Congress is unlikely to change its mind at any given moment.
What it would do if Congress does ever change its mind is up in the air, but so far there is no evidence that it has done so, and in all likelihood it has not. Certainly it would be asked for a ruling, but it would then have to decide whether to give one or to say it’s a political question and not for it to decide.
Congress hasn’t been “exercising discretion”. It’s been operating under the opinion that it lacks the power. That opinion may be right or wrong, but so long as it remains of that opinion it won’t act against it.
Opinions, understanding and even legal precedent can and do change.
They can, but as the Supreme Court noted, it’s not likely. If Congress ever were to change its opinion, it would then fall to the Supreme Court to decide whether the old opinion was right or wrong.
She got elected by the radicals in her district much like Omar. Congress on the other hand could have refused to seat her but did which I think is a good move. It lets her keep her unhinged act going on for all to see further hurting Dems. When none step forward to denounce stuff like this people do take notice.
The gift that keeps on giving
Congress could not have refused to seat her. Each house is the judge of any disputed elections for that house, but there was no possible dispute about the validity of her election so it had nothing to judge. In her four elections she has received 84%, 78%, 71%, and 70%. Those are not margins that can be disputed. Nor has there ever been any suggestion that she is not eligible. So there has never been any opportunity for the House not to seat her.
Classy… and she looks like Ernest Borgnine in drag.
Ima up vote you despite putting that nightmare fuel into my head.
Borgnine unshaven in a pink tutu would still look better than Tlaib. With less body hair.
You don’t have to guess who the savages are. Listen and they will tell you.
.
As foul on the inside as on the outside.
Funny thing just because there is no one in front of you doesn’t make you a leader. It’s what behind you.
That’s kind of deep. 🙂
And if you want to really know how much BS that Islam is the religion of peace
Do you EvER hear one iman denouncing this vicious nonsense?
No
They all support it
America must absolutely stop all immigration from the ME and get as many out as we can
Europe has almost no hope of avoiding eventually having Muslim control, due simply to demographic differences in birth rates, even if they were to stop the inflow. We are being given highly visible fair warning.
I don’t know about that. When the pendulum swings in Europe, it’s going to be very very ugly. Think 4 or 5 authoritarians coming to power to solve the “muslim question.” Lot’s of shallow graves.
And they will not relinquish power, once they finish the problem at hand.
“Rep. Rashida Tlaib: “Outside of the decaying halls of the empire in Washington DC — we are winning.”
She should pay a visit to my part of the FL Panhandle (well, except for Tallahassee) and she and her friends will be introduced to “losing.”
Losing to alligators.
her america in last place policy is growing at the local levels
stop the mail in voting as a norm, now
how long until the public schools introduce this keffiyeh as a mandatory piece of clothing to be worn by students???
They’re great for wiping your arse.
Why do you have to make me hopeful with the headline? You told me she exploded!
LOL
She isn’t from Palestine,
The Muslims are growing and will be taking over much of Europe soon enough
When the massacre of October happened I put up an Israeli flag outside my house. Since then I’ve had a couple of people stop and thank me for flying it. Last week I took it down because it was getting frayed and ordered another. A guy stopped to ask me where it was. Her brand of crazy is very localized and while it makes the msm froth at the mouth few outside that circle in relation to the population of our country agree with it.
Rallying her base for 9/11 remembrance day?
Somebody give this woman a muzzle and a burka!!
Should have locked the doors in Troy, backed up semi trucks, herded the goat effer’s into the trailer and put them on a ship to north korea.
I’m all in favor of Israel finishing off what terrorists remain in gaza as violently as needed.
Any questions on why sheep are so popular with muslime males?
A government employee was fired for giving the finger. An then there is this foulmouthed sorry excuse of a human being.
She is talking about the Palestinians who want to exterminate the Jews. Who showed the world the genocide they seek to inflict on 10/7. Evil lurked in the hearts of Palestinians and this Congress critter.
I have to admit, when she said “… We are just growing and growing and growing. We are bringing siblings from other movements with us”, the image in my head was Stacey Abrams ingesting her brothers and sisters.
BTW, why do we not have counterterrorism units raiding these gatherings where such threatening language is being used? While we’re at it, we could probably get the beancounters @ ICE and the Census Bureau some numerical wins.
