Jerry Seinfeld Says the ‘Free Palestine’ Mob is Worse Than the KKK

“Free Palestine is, to me, just — you’re free to say you don’t like Jews. Just say you don’t like Jews”

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld made a surprise appearance at Duke University this week with a former Israeli hostage. During his remarks, the famously Jewish entertainer suggested that the ‘Free Palestine’ mob is worse than the Ku Klux Klan, saying that at least KKK members are up front about the fact that they hate Jews.

One of the fascinating aspects of this story is that some people on the left were actually shocked by this because they think they’re the good guys.

The Duke Chronicle reported:

Jerry Seinfeld compares ‘Free Palestine’ movement to KKK in surprise Duke appearance

Actor and comedian Jerry Seinfeld denounced the “Free Palestine” movement as antisemitic in a surprise appearance at a Tuesday Duke event, likening it to rhetoric from the Ku Klux Klan during his introduction of a former Israeli hostage.

“Free Palestine is, to me, just — you’re free to say you don’t like Jews. Just say you don’t like Jews,” Seinfeld said.

“By saying Free Palestine, you’re not admitting what you really think,” he continued. “So it’s actually — compared to the Ku Klux Klan, I’m actually thinking the Klan is actually a little better here because they can come right out and say, ‘We don’t like Blacks, we don’t like Jews.’ Okay that’s honest.”

Seinfeld made the comments at an event with Omer Shem Tov, a former Israeli hostage who was abducted by Hamas at the Oct. 7, 2023, Nova music festival and held captive for 505 days. The event was sponsored primarily by Chabad at Duke, as well as the Provost’s Initiative on the Middle East, University centers and Jewish student groups. Seinfeld’s remarks came as part of a brief introduction to Shem Tov and the event’s moderator, N.C. State Sen. Sophia Chitlik, D-Durham.

The liberal Hollywood Reporter clearly views this as a controversial opinion:

The Chronicle quoted a University spokesperson who noted, “Duke does not preview the remarks of speakers who are invited to campus, and the invitation of speakers to campus does not imply any endorsement of their remarks.”

A representative for Seinfeld declined to comment. The Hollywood Reporter also reached out to two of the Duke groups behind the event but has not yet heard back.

Why should anyone have to ‘comment’ on this at all? It’s true, isn’t it?

ABC News in North Carolina got quotes from students who are obviously left wing:

“I feel unsafe as a Palestinian American student myself, being on a campus where a call for freedom and justice is misconstrued,” Laila Dames told ABC11 on Wednesday. “If the school wants to be a place of diversity and inclusion and equity, they need to speak out and deplore what he said and support all the students.”

Noah Jacobs, a Jewish Duke student, told ABC11 that, “Free Palestine is obviously not at all comparable to the Ku Klux Klan. I’m really just honestly nauseated. “Just wanted to bring my voice as a Jewish student to say, really, this is something we care about.”

Jerry Seinfeld deserves credit for being brave enough to say this. Too many people in the entertainment industry lack the courage to speak out in this way, even if they agree.

Everyone always forgets the Klan hated Catholics, too.

Which is ironic, because (as far as I know) it hated Catholics more than it did Jews.

I actually know the grandchild of a Jewish businessman in Alabama who was invited to join the Klan, and he had to point out why he couldn’t do that. The people inviting him had known he was a Jew, but it hadn’t occurred to them why that would be a problem. At least to them, the Klan’s antisemitism was so far in the background that it wasn’t something that came readily to their minds.

      To Oden. My experience also.

People think of segregation as just being blacks and whites. It also meant separate country clubs for Jews and Protestants. Catholics were also left out of much of Southern society while they forbad their flock to join Freemason groups. In Orlando in the late 1980s. A reporter convinced a member of a country club to give up the member’s guide showing that Jews weren’t welcome. In St Louis suburbs in the 1970s there were Jewish only country club. I thought it was incredibly ironic and hypocritical when Emory University started hosting black only receptions. In Arizona, a straight white male (remember SWM?) entered a “safe space” lounge funded by ASU and proceeded to study but was chased out by angry queer students. We keep going backwards in our society and I wish microagression had never become part of our vocabulary.

How can they seek a free Palestine when their rulers are dictators.

I’ve never met Klansman so I can’t judge.

I’ve seen the free Palestine crowd. It’s just another name for antifa. They are hate group, a terrorist organization and it’s time for America to clean house. No one will miss them when they are in jail.

    I’ve met J. B. Stoner.

I’ve also met Satan’s minions in Haiti and Guatemala.

In each case, I could see and sense the evil in their eyes.

Jail is not the right place for them.

Free Palestine activists in USA are branch office for hamas. No tolerance for any other religion, even moderate muslims.

any dem that I ever met ,,and its been most people Ive ever met

they have always,,if spoken to long enough,,admitted that they were racist …but for good reasons

The one’s I know don’t actually admit it. They just say things about blacks and others that make it clear they the feel like they need to protect them because they are unable to function in the general culture. They infantilize them and excuse them as not really having any agency.

Seinfeld is 100% correct. The Free Free Palestine people wear masks and cover their faces and hide because they know, just like the Klan did that their actions are reprehensible, and they want to avoid consequences on themselves. They pretend they want justice, when all they want is violence. They idolize murderers and spread the lowest most bigoted conspiracy theories imaginable. Honestly his comparison is dead on.

It’s always the same dishonest schtick with the vile, stupid and evil leftists/Dhimmi-crats/Islamofascists/Muslim supremacists.

They love to claim: “I’m not an anti-Semite; I’m anti-Zionist.”

Well, Zionism is a movement by Jews to reclaim their ancient homeland, where Jews have resided for millennia before Islam was founded. And, Israeli Jews of today want to live in peace, without the constant violence carried out by goose-stepping, genocidal and belligerent Arab invaders from Arabia (dubbed “Palestinians,” in an act of brazen and dishonest historical revisionism). Why would any rational person be opposed to this?

I am very tired of college students who claim to suddenly feel unsafe because they heard an opinion with which they disagree.

schmuul in reply to Semper Why. | September 11, 2025 at 1:43 pm

Exactly and so we have the murder of Charlie Kirk. A man who tried to help young people understand that silence is not violence; debate is not violence and talking is what helps us work through conflicts, not silencing each other and calling each other names. I walk around feeling unsafe everyday because I’m a rationale human being. But speech doesn’t make me feel unsafe. Opinions no matter how hateful don’t make me feel unsafe. They make me mad and frustrated but not scared. Violence makes me feel unsafe. Plain and simple. And violence breads in climates with group think, scapegoating and mono-opinions with religious, cult like fealty. Places where the only option to survive is self censorship. Or basically today’s college classroom.

    Exactly.
“I feel unsafe as a Palestinian American student myself.”
Sure. You’re so in danger from all the roving gangs of Jewish students beating the shit out of Palestinians with their Israeli flagpoles, right?
    GFY.

Yes, unsafe how exactly? Do you think Jerry Seinfeld is coming to your house?

It probably feels unsafe bc it knows at any moment the unstable mixture of explosive and accelerant underneath its clothing could ignite / explode. Or that it might be tasked with the construction of a bomb, so it fears an accident, or getting caught.

They’re not just anti-Semitic. They’re anti-America, too.

blmplo the murderer of ck omars celebratory nature of 9 11 gfloyd

they are allll one in the same

GF was a criminal, a drug taking home invading assaulter who brought onto himself evil

CK otoh,, was a god loving country loving people loving hard working family man

both did what made them who they are

but with the death of GF…what changes occurred in society?

laws passed to “help” those who saw themselves in GF…$$$$$$ given..streets repainted,, pd parred down in numbers,,laws changed to as to not offend or bother or god forbid,, find illegal activities that would lead to the incarceration of the GF followers….schools reinforced the obama era..stop the pipeline to prison via the schools

the very schools run by the same agenda as GF ,,and yet failing those very students by engaging with them in their pursuits of freebies..and fake b+ grading so they could

fly panes and lawyer and doctor their way to a better life ..all the while not having the slightest clue on how to actually do the job

But the mf was celebrated and laws and customs changed to accommodate the blmplo armies

What positive changes will occur in america that now strengthens freedoms and gun ownership and makes the streets safer now that CK was murdered ???

will goros backed DAs be kicked out of office?

will chicago streets become safer as the prisons are finally filled back up with the blk perps who have been allowed to roam and pillage and murder at will?

thinking no,, that will not happen

The times are changing and more people will be taking on the haters directly. Good for Seinfeld.

Last I heard, many members of the KKK are FBI agents, perhaps as many as half. No secret they don’t like blacks, Catholics, Jews. No idea if they have a position on Muslims. They were a reaction to Reconstruction, and had a resurgence in the 1920s. The more I learn about Civil War history, the more I understand how the KKK got started.

During my short time as a member of a Reform Temple, I found that many Jews there thought the KKK is the current major threat to American Jews. Not Islam. I kept hearing about “interfaith dialog.” The Temple leaders (mostly women) were wholly ignorant about the nature of Islam. “Don’t you realize that the Koran instructs Muslims to lie to the Kafirs?” I asked one day. None of them knew what a Kafir is. I found the degree of ignorance, among these older, college educated, Reform Jews to be both amazing an appalling. Not so with the Chabad, both in CA and TX who I find warm, tolerant, welcoming, and sensible.

jagibbons in reply to oden. | September 12, 2025 at 12:29 pm

The Koran also demands that Muslims convert or kill Jews and Christians. I’m guessing a lot of today’s affluent white women Jewish “leaders” conveniently ignore that bit.

Free P aholes are not as bad as the KKK, yet. The KKK actually killed people. The P aholes haven’t that I’m aware and the majority of their violence is on the order of shoving.

However they have the potential of being worse than the KKK. There are many more of them and they want to kill Jews. They just haven’t brought themselves to that level yet. They actually don’t have to because they are mostly achieving their aims by control the campuses and intimidating Jews while gathering a bigger mindshare of the populace. They;ve also just about gained control of a major party.

Party of their reason for success is there is

1) Their tolerance at the K-12 level allowing them to indoctrinate.
2) Their tolerance at college campuses allowing them to rampage
3) Their tolerance by the dramacrat party
4) Very little pushback as the actual history and facts of the middle east by Jews and their supporters.

schmuul in reply to ztakddot. | September 11, 2025 at 5:15 pm

I would disagree they have killed people the two Israeli embassy workers and the woman lit on fire in Colorado , all by the free free Palestine people. Unfortunately more to come as there is no Jewish Lives Matter Movement coming to the rescue.

ztakddot in reply to schmuul. | September 11, 2025 at 5:20 pm

True but the body count of the KKK was higher especially when you look at the number of members,

schmuul in reply to ztakddot. | September 11, 2025 at 7:58 pm

Fair enough but I think they are only just now getting started given their new level of legitimacy’s and popularity with college kids and young people in general.

ztakddot in reply to schmuul. | September 12, 2025 at 10:50 am

One additional point I’d like to make. The KKK killed as a group. The recent killers of Jews were lone wolfs. I think that is significant.

        midge.hammer in reply to ztakddot. | September 14, 2025 at 4:35 pm

Even if you had not already been corrected, you’d still be wrong. Claiming FreePers aren’t killers is like claiming Sinn Fein never bombed anyone. GMAFB. The campus / city streets activists spreading propaganda are part and parcel Hamas fighters, just using (mostly) different weapons.

Milhouse in reply to ztakddot. | September 12, 2025 at 1:26 am

The Klan killed people long ago, but it hasn’t killed anyone in so long that none of its current members were members — or even alive — when the last one happened.

The “Palestine” people kill people now.

Milhouse in reply to ztakddot. | September 12, 2025 at 1:29 am

Also, the Klan basically doesn’t exist any more. There’s no official group, just an unorganized collection of tiny groups of no more than 5 or 10 members each. You could hold a national KKK convention in an average hotel sleeping room. There are so few of them that the SPLC has to invent some in order to boost their numbers.

He seems to have forgotten, they’re the same people

The d/prog don’t stray far from their roots.

FP crowd are communists/fascists and hate Isreal. I don’t see them blaming Jews for the weather or the economy like their middle eastern cousins. From the little I know about the KKK, they were mainly down on blacks/jews as a racial thing.

We all grew up being brainwashed about the outsiders view of the KKK and racism (Mississippi Burning, To Kill a Mocking Bird). In looking at crime stats, are we 100% sure they weren’t a bit more discerning about the lynchings? Cuz anyone watching that Charlotte video is thinking about a quick dirt nap for that guy.

I snarked on another list that we could raise a humongous warchest by selling raffle tickets to people eager to strap that fool to a gurney and help him get that government chip out of his head once and for all.

A little surprised they don’t try and play the defense, that he was just breaking up the chif-a-roe for that Ukranian girl and it was her drunk daddy that stabbed her.

Frankly the KKK are less of a threat than the so-called pro-Palestine folk. The KKK didn’t, in general, espouse genocide of the Jews, or the handing over of native Jewish land to settler-colonist-invaders.
