Another awards show, another chance for Hollywood blowhards to spew their anti-Israel views.
Yes, they wore the red pin inspired by the lynching of two Israelis in 2000.
Jewish actress Hannah Einbinder caused a scene during her acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actress for Hacks.
“Go Birds, f*ck ICE, and Free Palestine!”
Why would a Jewish actress say such things? She addressed it backstage:
Yeah, so well, I thought it was important to talk about Palestine, because it’s an issue that’s very dear to my heart. I have friends in Gaza who are working as front line workers, as doctors right now in the north of Gaza to provide care for pregnant women and for school children, to create schools in the refugee camps. And it’s an issue that’s really close to my heart for many reasons, I feel like it is my obligation as a Jewish person to distinguish Jews from the State of Israel, because our religion and our culture is such an important and long standing basically like institution that is really separate to this sort of ethno-nationalist state, and in terms of the the pledge, it’s like many movements, boycotting is an effective tool to create pressure on the powers that be to meet the moment, you know?So the film workers for Palestine boycott does not boycott individuals, it only boycotts institutions that are directly complicit in the genocide. So, yeah, it’s important to me, and I think it’s an important measure, and so I was happy to be a part of it.
Oh, it gets better!
The Quds News Network blurred Einbinder’s shoulders in its post because of modesty.
I mean…it’s reality. These people can do or say whatever they want, but Hamas and others don’t care. You have to conform to their ways.
Also, the terrorists would have raped and slaughtered Einbinder if she attended the Nova festival on October 7.
People in Gaza would have cheered her fate, too.
But what about actual genocides? Nothing to see here, I guess:
5.5M killed in Congo,500K killed in Syria,500K killed in Sudan,400K killed in Yemen,300K killed in Iraq,250K killed in Afghanistan
