Jews play the Holocaust card internally to maintain alienation, which discourages assimilation. It’s a culture conservation strategy. I used to get academic book catalogs from U Chicago and every issue had a Jewish Studies section with a “Holocaust for Children” subsection. It’s a “see antisemitism everywhere” strategy.
The strategy doesn’t work externally but Jews don’t realize it. The Palestinian Holocaust card works better if nothing else because it’s recent and the numbers support it, and it wins the campus and the arts.
Instead show how all of Western morality comes from Judaism, and how Israel is operating every time in accordance with it.
What you see is simply the right to self-defense, and nothing to do particularly with Jews.

I really don’t like the first argument. It assumes “nation of Israel” and “government of Israel” are equivalent. It’s perfectly legitimate to accuse a government of being unrepresentative of the people’s faith and culture. Hell, we just rid ourselves of exactly that after four long years.

She testified she exited Nicholson’s bedroom and heard voices in the livingroom. She saw Polanski and an obviously drunk early-teenaged girl being ‘romantic’ on the couch. What did she do? Nothing. She said she didn’t think anything about it at the time because that’s just the way the business worked. This was the middle of the day. The girl – 13 – was dropped off at Nicholson’s house by her mother.

No, it isn’t. The idea of returning to Israel and reestablishing the kingdom of the House of David is absolutely central both to the Jewish religion and to Jewish culture.
