Democrats Push New Conspiracy Theory That Trump Will Use Military to Interfere With Elections
The birth of a narrative.
Democrats have clearly settled on a new line of attack to push back against Trump’s crackdown on crime. The new talking point is that Trump is laying the groundwork to somehow use the military to interfere with the midterms and even the next presidential election.
Remember how many times Democrats and the media accused others of pushing ‘conspiracy theories’ over the last few years? Good times.

When President Donald Trump sat down with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky last month, the topic was the weighty issue of ending Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. But at one point, Trump took a provocative diversion into domestic politics.
Zelensky noted that, in his country, the law doesn’t allow for elections during periods of martial law.
“So you say during the war, you can’t have elections,” Trump responded. “So let me just say, three and a half years from now – so you mean, if we happen to be in a war with somebody, no more elections? Oh, that’s good.”
Laughter ensued. Trump wondered aloud what the “fake news” would do with his comment.
But increasingly, Democrats aren’t laughing.
A growing number of them are arguing Trump will do something to either try to cancel or commandeer elections to keep his hold on power.
That might seem ridiculous to some. Trump hasn’t explicitly said he plans to cancel elections, and he said last month he would “probably not” run for a third term, which the Constitution forbids anyway. But the president has certainly floated such possibilities before and done plenty of anti-democratic things.
CNN’s Jake Tapper picked up that ball and ran with it, highlighting Illinois Governor Pritzker’s related comments.

Later in the week, Pritzker repeated this on MSNBC and got zero pushback from Jen Psaki. Pritzker is actually suggesting that Trump bringing the National Guard to Chicago to help deal with crime is about election interference.

Illinois Senator Tammy Duckworth somehow managed to repeat this line and even connected it to the strike on the cartel vessel this week.

I can’t recall a presidential election since 2000 regarding which people on whichever side opposed the incumbent didn’t predict that the election would be canceled. In 2004, 2008, 2020, and now 2028 it was Democrats making this prediction; in 2012, 2016, and 2024 it was Republicans.
I never heard such predictions in 2000 or 1996, or earlier. But in 2004 I had Democrat friends who seriously believed that Bush was going to cancel the election! It was insane then and it remains insane every four years, regardless of who’s in office.
Long way to elections but I think Democrats are doing enough to cancel themselves
Sometimes I wish Trump was half of what the Democrats thought he was just to see how insane they’d truly get. None of their predictions have come true.
Whereas all of our “conspiracy theories” have come true. Even the far-out fringe loony ones, like chemtrails (government attempts at weather modification).
How can you break a society so badly that you can’t even arbitrage “being right?”
Sometimes I wish that Trump was as bad as the left claims he is.
At this point I would champion shutting down the rogue district courts, ending habeas corpus for illegal aliens, using the military to round up illegals and ship them out of the country immediately, sending in the NG to clean up places like Baltimore, Chicago, and New York.
Institute curfews, and charge minors as adults for violent crimes.
Let’s go full scale law and order.
Then when we get to election time and the cities are safe and the NG is gone, then we can have free and fair elections, and the people can decide whether they want tough love or tough criminals.
What disturbs me most is that some Democrats actually believe that our military would support a coup which would end the American Republic.
I was in the military, and I always remember that American soldiers are our neighbors and people with whom we went to school. Even if some in the highest levels of the officer corps were to try to order halting elections I don’t believe they could count on enough support from the lower ranks to carry that off.
Yes, it seems that Trump is very popular right now, but not popular enough for the military and the people to allow the destruction of constitution rule.

We who have worn the uniform would stage a mutiny against corrupt officers. That’s why fragging was a thing.
I would have been court martialed before I allowed any of my subordinates to mistreat an American and follow orders from trash traitors like Austin and Milley. Both of them could easily be ignored without consequence.
In 30 years of service I NEVER knew anyone who would participate in an overthrow of the government or abuse Americans. There may have some fringe, but not enough.
I enlisted under Carter, and served under every President up to and including as a Civil Service GS-13 under Obama.
We know our place.

But we who thought the same thing about police were all treated to brutal reality during Katrina, when cops had no qualms about going door to door confiscating firearms for no f*g logical reason at all. They even imported highway cops from California who were eager to participate. I don’t care to be treated to the same disillusionment from the armed services, especially since after the first exhibition, our nation’s enemies may never need another..
Especially when the disillusionment is already evident, if you just go looking for it.

I have my own conspiracy theory to launch. I believe the Democrats are trying to incite their base to start a kinetic civil war. The D’s failed at their soft coup in Trump 46. They did succeed in corruptly “winning” the 2020 election (81 million votes my posterior).
If the Democrats could succeed in starting a kinetic civil war using Antifa, BLM and whatever other browshirts they have, they would declare themselves the victims of our current administration. The Ds would then call on the Globalists and United Nations to send in a peacekeeping force which would probably primarily consist of Chinese PLA forces, Russians forces, Iranian forces and few others. These forces would put the Democrats in power where the Ds could have their “democracy” and put all of the Republicans/Conservatives in FEMA prison camps for “re-education” (or death).

The UN uniforms are very distinctive, and those blue hats stand out from a distance. Unlike other countries where the United Nations gRAPE squads were able to plunder, the United States has a boatload of veterans who are well seasoned after Vietnam, Panama, Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, and much more.
Even the older out of shape veterans can still do jobs that don’t require lots of physical effort.
If Gov. FatA$$ and Mayor Conehead didn’t do such a crappy job of governing the state and the City of $#!+cago, there’d be no need to send in the National Guard.
