Nearly 90% of Gaza Aid Trucks Looted or Hijacked Since Mid-May, UN Data Shows

“The real obstacle to feeding Gaza is Hamas,” the IDF sources say.

With the mainstream media and foreign governments falsely blaming Israel for the humanitarian situation in Gaza, newly released figures show that Hamas and other terrorist groups are stealing most of the aid coming into the enclave. Since May 19, 2025, close to 90 percent of trucks entering Gaza were either looted or hijacked by the terrorists, the latest data released by the United Nations indicates.

While the UN report does not name Hamas, Israeli reports suggest that the Gaza-based terrorist group is behind this large-scale looting and black market profiteering of humanitarian aid. According to a recent estimate, Hamas made at least one billion dollars in 2024 alone by manipulating the supply of aid in Gaza.

The Times of Israel published the UN data suggesting mass theft of aid by Hamas:

The United Nations Office for Project Services has published data showing that since the resumption of humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza on May 19 and up until August 5, a total of 2,604 aid trucks were collected by the UN after entering the Strip. Of those, 2,309 did not reach their intended destinations inside the enclave.

According to the organization, this was due to the trucks being “intercepted either peacefully by hungry people or forcefully by armed actors during transit in Gaza.” This accounts for 88% of all trucks.

In recent months, the percentages were even higher. According to UNOPS, in June, 1,155 trucks were collected by the UN and its partner organizations, and 1,048 of them — 90.7% — were intercepted before reaching their destinations. In July, the figure rose to 94%, with 1,161 trucks collected and 1,093 intercepted.

These UN figures correspond with similar assessments made by the Israeli military and civilian experts. “Israeli army sources [say] that the real obstacle to feeding Gaza is Hamas,” the Israeli news agency TPS reported last Thursday. “The data showed that 98.6% of the stolen aid was food, with the remainder designated as ‘solid fuel,’ ‘nutrition, and ‘health.'”

Hamas is deliberately creating a humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the TPS report observed:

“There is some hunger in Gaza, and it exists only in places Hamas is pursuing it, not in other areas,” said Professor Eytan Gilboa an expert in international relations and media at Reichman University in Herzliya.

While most of the UN aid ends up in the hands of Hamas and other terrorist groups, the U.S.-led Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) is delivering food and essential supplies directly to the residents of the enclave — bypassing Hamas.

The GHF has provided over 100 million meals since launching its operations in late May. “Every meal we deliver in Gaza is a result of careful planning, strong commitment, and extraordinary courage from our team on the ground,” the organisation said in a statement on Tuesday. “With more than 108 million meals provided thus far, GHF continues to prove that safe, direct aid is possible even in the most challenging conditions.”

The Israel and U.S.-backed aid agency has been carrying out its work despite deadly terror attacks by Hamas on its staffers and distribution sites.

Something to keep in mind is that Hamas “stealing” the aid is the same as distributing it “properly” for the most part. All those civilians getting the aid ARE Hamas. The only real thing happening is some portion of Hamas with guns is forcing the other portions of Hamas to pay for the aid.

Which, BTW, has been the case in EVERY war-torn community ever, that has received aid. The folks with guns (or other power) take the aid and sell it to the “starving locals.”

Thousands of aid trucks intercepted by Hamas and the UN keeps sending unprotected aid trucks down the same road to be “intercepted.” With those odds, what truck driver would venture down that road without a guarantee of safety. Its just the UN continuing to support Hamas and keep the war going. How much of the UN cargo is actual weapons and ammunition for Hamas. The UN is not a neutral or unbiased participant. The UN has been trying to destroy Israel and the Jews since 1948. Maybe the IDF needs to protect the UN trucks after searching them for. Weapons intended for Hamas. Hamas could never be the destructive force it became without UN support. A suggestion was made that “blue helmets “ be used to protect the trucks. That refers to UN troops who do not go in harms way and over the years of Middle East posting have supported Hamas, Hezbolah and other terrorist groups. Or at a minimum turned a blind eye to the terrorist activities.

How does the Gaza Strip create any wealth so the Gaza Arabs have any money to pay for the food?

*Puts on leftist retard helmet*

Damn IDF looting all the food so Gazans starve.

“Hamas is deliberately creating a humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the TPS report observed…”

The UN: Hey, those guys are at war. Let’s send millions of dollars of aid to one side to ease civillian suffering.

Also the UN: Uh, we’ve documented, again, the one side’s army is stealing 98% of all that civillian aid.

The UN: Let’s send millions of dollars of more aid to one side because that’s different.

Also the UN: Yes, we know the definition of insanity, and we resent the accusation that we’re partisan.

    By golly LB1901, you’re right.

We need to send MORE AID to make up for it. /s

Hey, those guys are at war. Let’s send millions of dollars of aid to one side to ease civillian suffering enable that side to continue fighting.
FIFY. Because that’s what they’re doing. The whole point of war is creating suffering so the enemy capitulates.

There are some parts of Game of Thrones that hit perfectly, and allow me to give George RR Martin a bit of slack on not finishing his series. Bronn has the lines during their upcoming siege:
Aye, we talked about it. Have you ever been in a city under siege? Maybe this part’s not in your books. See, it’s not the fighting that kills most people; it’s the starving. Food’s worth more than gold. Noble ladies sell their diamonds for a sack of potatoes. Things get bad enough, the poor start eating each other. The thieves, they love a siege. Soon as the gates are sealed, they steal all the food. By the time it’s all over, they’re the richest men in town.

90%? Uh huh. I think the real title for this article should be “UN actively supports Hamas.” I’d also accept “UN is terrorist co-conspirator”

Is there one single thing in Gaza that is not caused by Hamas? Are the Palestinians so stupid that they cannot see this? The citizens of Gaza are nothing but pawns to Hamas and they use them like msm magnets. When they want attention, usually bad, they murder a few and film them and the msm laps it up like a kitten with milk. When they want leverage with Israel they kill a few and blame it on Israel and the msm laps it up. Has there ever been a war that took hostages and kept them this long? They too are pawns in Hamas’s war chest. One way around this is to air drop the food over a wide area so that Hamas cannot control who gets it.

Is there one single thing in Gaza that is not caused by Hamas?

Birth defects. 40% of people in Gaza are married to their first cousin.

And they never thought to provide armed escort?

The U.N. intended this.

Israel has two options

1. Order the IDF to occupy the remainder of Gaza, find all tunnels, destroy all tunnels and rescue the hostages hoping that the rescuing hostages works without Hamas killing the 20 living ones (corpses are unworthy of being a nations priority and not event he United States would support an Israeli war for recovering corpses).

2. Withdraw from Gaza unilaterally ending the war.

There is no other option. To survive instead of becoming the next pariah state circling the drain into defunct status Israel needs to avoid the international collapse it is suffering.

With victory it could reverse the hate it has been getting by proving the genocide and starvation lies are lies. With defeat it could at least start hoping to rise in western esteem to the status of Russia.

With continued warfare Israel could expect to be where Apartheid South Africa was in a very short period of time.

There is no such thing as a successful Sits Krieg. It failed France about as much as it is failing Israel today.

The longer Netanyahu pretends to have a third option the worst things get.
