Two U.S. Aid Workers Wounded in Grenade Attack in Gaza

Two U.S. Aid Workers Wounded in Grenade Attack in Gaza

A synagogue in Melbourne was firebombed while 20 worshipers attended the regular Friday service.

Two American aid workers were wounded when a terrorist threw a grenade at a food distribution center in Gaza. The aid workers belonged to the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, a newly established U.S.-backed private food distribution organization.

“Two U.S. aid workers with the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) were injured in a grenade attack during a food distribution event in Gaza, the organization said on Saturday,” the Israel TV channel i24NEWS reported. “The Americans, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, are in stable condition and receiving medical treatment.”

The Israeli military rescued the injured Americans. They were receiving medical treatment and were in a stable condition, news reports said.

“On Saturday morning, an update was received from the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) stating that terrorists had thrown two grenades into an aid distribution site in Rafah at the end of the aid distribution, while civilians were still present at the site,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement.

This is the second major terrorist attack on GHF aid workers. On June 11, Hamas ambushed a bus carrying aid workers, killing eight of them.

NBC News reported:

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation said on Saturday that two American aid workers had suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a targeted attack at a food distribution site in Gaza.

The U.S.- and Israeli-backed GHF said in a statement that the injured Americans were receiving medical treatment and were in a stable condition.

“The attack — which preliminary information indicates was carried out by two assailants who threw two grenades at the Americans — occurred at the conclusion of an otherwise successful distribution in which thousands of Gazans safely received food,” the GHF said.

In addition to aid workers, the GHF employs private U.S. military contractors tasked with providing security at their sites

The attack was part of the efforts by Hamas and other Palestinian terrorist groups to sabotage the U.S.-sponsored humanitarian operation, which seeks to bypass them by providing aid directly to Gazans. The GHF has delivered more than 52 million meals since it began operating in Gaza five weeks ago.

“The terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip continue efforts to sabotage the distribution of humanitarian aid at the designated aid sites intended for the civilian population,” the IDF statement added. “In doing so, they are cynically and deliberately harming civilians in the Gaza Strip.”

With food and essential supplies directly reaching civilians, Hamas has lost a big source of funding and control over Gaza’s population. The jihadist group had been hoarding the United Nations-supplied humanitarian aid and selling it at exorbitant rates to finance its terrorist campaign since October 7, 2024. “Some of the aid Hamas steals, it immediately resells to residents, the victims of the theft,” the newspaper Israel Hayom noted in February 2025. “Its revenue from this channel is estimated at $50 to $100 million per month, totaling nearly a billion dollars since the war began.”

Australia: Melbourne synagogue set on fire with worshipers inside

A synagogue in Melbourne was firebombed while 20 worshipers attended the regular Friday service.

“The fire was started at about 8 pm on Friday when about 20 people were inside the place of worship for a Shabbat dinner,” Australia’s  SBS News reported. “It was contained to the front entrance, and those there evacuated without injury.”

The Australian broadcaster 9 News covered the details:

Police are hunting an arsonist who set fire to a Melbourne synagogue with more than a dozen people, including children, inside.

The unknown man entered the grounds of the synagogue on Albert Street in East Melbourne at 8pm yesterday.

He poured flammable liquid on the front door of the religious building and set it alight before fleeing, Victoria Police said.

There were 20 people, including children, having a Shabbat dinner inside the synagogue at the time, however everyone was able to evacuate from the back.

Fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze, which was contained to the front entrance.

In a second incident, a group of ‘pro-Palestinian’ protesters stormed an Israeli-owned restaurant in Melbourne, vandalizing the place while screaming chants like “death to the IDF.”

“Witnesses say the group was chanting ‘death to the IDF’ before they arrived at the restaurant called Miznon,” 9 News reported. “Diners were fearful as the group threw food and chairs at windows and knocked over tables.”

In a related attack, arsonists set fire to cars in Melbourne’s predominantly Jewish neighborhood.

“In a third incident on Saturday, Victoria Police said a group of people entered a business in Greensborough at around 4.30 am and set fire to three cars. They also used spray paint to vandalise the vehicles,” the British newspaper The Independent reported

The city authorities are clueless regarding the motives behind the latest antisemitic attacks. “Police said neither of the three incidents were being treated as an act of terrorism at this stage, with the ‘intent and ideology’ of the perpetrators yet to be clarified,” Australian public broadcaster ABC reported.

With pro-Hamas demonstrations across Australia calling for “gassing the Jews” and “globalizing the intifada,” violent anti-Semitic attacks have been on a steep rise. “This comes amid a spate of antisemitic incidents in Australia this year, with homes, schools, synagogues, and vehicles targeted by vandalism and arson, drawing condemnation from Israel, one of the country’s longstanding allies,” The Independent noted.

In December 2024, A Melbourne synagogue, Australia’s largest Jewish house of worship, was fire bombs during Friday morning prayers. In January 2025, a Jewish childcare center was set on fire in Sydney.

Antisemitism is a part of the woke dogma. Unfortunately, Australia is very woke.

They went from stealing all the aid and accusing Israel of starving Gaza to demanding Israel and the US stop giving food away.

Attacking Jews anywhere but Israel gives their game away — they’re not “anti-Zionists”, they just hate Jews.
