Florida Woman Arrested for Allegedly Making Drunken Bomb Threat to U Central Florida

“I’m gonna f–king blow you guys up”

Move over, Florida man, it’s time for Florida woman.

The New York Post reports:

Florida woman arrested after making drunken bomb threat to University of Central Florida: ‘I’m gonna f–king blow you guys up’

A Florida woman was arrested after she made a drunken bomb threat to the University of Central Florida shortly after school let out for the summer.

Kristin Galli, 29, called the UCF Student Care Services on May 22 while she was allegedly intoxicated and blurted “I’m gonna f–king blow you guys up” before hanging up the phone, according to an arrest affidavit recently unsealed.

The confounded worker tried to call Galli back, but she didn’t pick up. However, the staffer was able to quickly identify her using her voicemail and phone number in the center’s call history, according to the affidavit obtained by Fox 35.

Around the same time, Galli also allegedly texted more than 200 “incoherent” text messages and pictures of herself to a UCF professor from the same number found in the call history, officials said.

The next day, police tracked down Galli and she admitted to making the calls while she “was angry” and “thought it would be funny” while she was under the influence, according to the affidavit.

Galli was swiftly cuffed and faces charges related to false reporting of a bombing on a state-owned property and unlawful use of a two-way communication.

After she was booked, Galli appeared stunned in her mugshot as she stared dead-eyed at the camera, her clownish makeup messily smudged across her face with crooked glasses and green hair.

She is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 21.

Comments

Drunken bombs may sound like fun, but they’re not.

She had to be drunk to put on face paint like that and think it improved her looks.
What is left out is any ties she had to the University which is strongly implied since she was in their call history and she went after a specific professor.
I bet that since she was hammered at the time that unless she has a prior record of this type of stuff she will get probation which will include laying off the sauce

When arrested, the cops probably began with “you have the right to remain stupid….”

One of the hardest groups to treat are young adults with Bipolar Disorder. They don’t believe there is anything wrong with themselves because they see a lot of their peers doing crazy stuff and apparently getting away with it. Therefore they refuse to take meds that might help stabilize them, or discontinue them as soon as they begin to work and things calm down. It is heartbreaking for loved ones to watch, but it is impossible to help them short of locking them up. Which is why this woman may now have a chance, unless some idiotic well-meaning Judge magnanimously decides to cut her loose.
