DOJ Giving House Oversight First Batch of Epstein Files
Chairman Comer promised transparency, but cautioned the committee likely won’t release anything to the public soon because “this is sensitive information.”
The House Oversight Committee will receive the first batch of Jeffrey Epstein files from the DOJ on Friday.
I wonder if the files are the same ones Attorney General Pam Bondi had on her desk in February.
Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer subpoenaed the DOJ, demanding access to all files and communications related to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
Comer promised transparency, but cautioned the committee likely won’t release anything to the public soon because “this is sensitive information.”
“We want to make sure we don’t do anything to harm or jeopardize any victims that were involved in this,” Comer told Fox News. “But we’re going to be transparent. We’re doing what we said we would do. We’re getting the documents. And, I believe the White House will work with us.”
The files must also contain everything “relating or referring to human trafficking, exploitation of minors, sexual abuse, or related activity.”
The DOJ came under fire in July when Bondi said the department wouldn’t release anything after a review because the files contained nothing significant, and a client list didn’t exist.
Three federal judges refused to unseal grand jury transcripts, telling everyone the transcripts are nothing compared to what the DOJ has in its possession.

These are exactly the same files endless federal judges saw, along with child porn that would be criminal to release to the public.
Nothing has changed, the Epstein list has only ever been a conspiracy theory.
You could trust a coalition of Donald Trump, Dan Bongino, Kash Patel, EVERY federal judge who saw all the evidence with no redactions, the JUDGE involved in the criminal case, SDNY from both TRUMP and BIDEN era, Alan Dershowitz, Acosta or you could believe a figment of the imagination backed up by liars who invented an Acosta quote that Acosta himself proved he never said.
Trust No One.
Blur the faces and Redact the names of the minors. Put it all out and name names of the folks involved in sexually exploiting/abusing minor children and those who had affiliation with Epstein/Maxwell or these pedo criminals.
If that means John Smith a COO of XYZ Corp gets named in public for hanging out with Epstein/Maxwell then so be it. Same for political figures, academics and everyone else who, at minimum, displayed poor judgement in associating with them. If they had the sense DJT had to sever all contact with them then report that and any exculpatory material as well.
Stop hiding behind ‘golly gee this material is awful’ as the excuse to keep the public from knowing exactly what occurred, who the heck was there while it went on and who turned a blind eye to it instead of acting decisively like Trump did.
Both names are available, the names are Epstein and Maxwell, one killed himself taking the cowards way out the other is serving a 20 year sentence.

Citizens who are not affiliated with police are under no obligation to know about a criminals secret life.

The DoJ can create tranches of names by length/manner of association with Epstein/Maxwell. So some dude that went to a big event b/c it was basically required of them socially is on one list. While a frequent flyer to pedo Island with long-standing ties and close association is on another list.
False equivalence. Matt Gaetz wasn’t convicted. The DoJ investigation didn’t result in charges. Even the HoR ethics committee report stated he didn’t engage in child sex trafficking.
But Dershowitz has been adamant that there WAS a client list — and remains so.

There is more than enough out to very decisively call all of this Epstein stuff as conspiracy theory, and the more that comes out the more discredited it is.
I do not want to know everyone who ever was in communication with him, innocent people who happen to have known someone who turned out to be a criminal should not be baselessly tarred and fettered.
We have our justice system for a reason and I am always glad to see it work.
What can be released may be copious.
But it will be emotionless. It will be receipts. Dates. Descriptions of who was on which flight. Very precise. Very cold. Very unmoving.
No video. Obviously.
