Illegal Alien Who Won Restraining Order Against ICE Arrested for New Crimes

He’s accused of trying to steal a car with a 3-year-old in the backseat.

An illegal alien in San Jose, CA, faces new charges after receiving a restraining order against ICE.

Anyone shocked? I’m not.

Illegal alien Guillermo Media Reyes, 31, became a hero for fighting against ICE two weeks ago.

Well, law enforcement arrested Reyes for allegedly attempting three carjackings, including one car with a toddler.

What began the alleged crime spree is also suspicious.

According to NBC Bay Area, Police said Reyes called 911 at 5 AM on Saturday due to “a woman screaming in a vacant house” in Berkeley, “next door to where Reyes has been staying.”

Officers discovered a broken window and Reyes with a bloody hand.

The cops left.

Then four hours later:

Officers left, but four hours later, a big-rig driver alerted authorities that he was approached by a shirtless man, later identified by authorities as Reyes, who allegedly stole his cell phone and tried to take his truck, which was hauling several vehicles on San Pablo Avenue. However, the truck quickly stalled, and Reyes ran off. Police say the trucker’s phone was later abandoned.

Farther north on San Pablo Avenue, Reyes allegedly went into a local café’s kitchen and then to a rental car agency next door. Medics were summoned to a “medical emergency” at the café, possibly a fentanyl overdose, according to dispatch traffic, but Reyes fled north as emergency responders arrived.

Reyes then went to the rental car office next door, authorities say, where he allegedly took a handheld radio. Employees said he next went into an office and called 911.

According to police, Reyes went across the street, where firefighters saw the attempted carjacking of a Prius from a customer in line at a local bakery. A toddler was in the back seat of that victim’s car as Reyes attempted to drive off, authorities say, but the car wouldn’t start because the keys were not inside.

Yeah, this hero allegedly attempted to steal a car with a toddler in the back seat.

It gets worse.

The police said Reyes ran across the street to a gas station, targeting a 70-year-old.

The cops said the 70-year-old woman attempted to keep Reyes out of her car, dousing him with gasoline.

Reyes allegedly knocked her to the ground.

So, yeah, this hero not only allegedly attempted to take a car with a toddler but also assaulted an elderly woman.

Fire officials found and detained Reyes. They had to give him Nican and described Reyes as “combative and altered.”

The police booked Reyes before taking him to a hospital for a mental evaluation.

Reyes’s criminal history:

  • 2013: convicted of attempted murder
  • 2021: taken into ICE custody
  • 2023: released by ICE
  • 2025: felony vandalism

Lovely.

Reyes received an extended restraining order against ICE on July 18.

The San Francisco judge said “that ICE cannot redetain a man without the approval of a neutral third party, keeping Bay Area community organizer Guillermo Medina Reyes out of custody until his case can be heard in front of a judge.”

Friday, July 18. So almost two weeks ago.

Thank God no one got hurt. Thank got a child didn’t get kidnapped.

My goodness. These people gushing over a violent criminal is just sickening after he received the restraining orders:

Thing is, the guy is the exact type of illegal alien President Donald Trump vowed to go after. Reyes has a violent criminal history. This isn’t a family man who goes to work 9-5 and lacks an arrest record.

Uh oh!

Guillermo está en grandes problemas ahora.

Adios amigo.

We need to make it normal to remove bad judges

Here’s a sure bet: “some people” will use it to remove judges with whom they don’t agree.

henrybowman | July 30, 2025 at 3:23 pm

Note that NBC IDs him not as an “illegal alien,” but as an “organizer.”
That means he’s every bit as genuine as Barack Obama.
And you can take that any way you want, but I’ve already chosen mine.

“Officers discovered a broken window and Reyes with a bloody hand.
The cops left.”

Dial 911 And Die.

Soon to be released by a California judge “on his own recognizance”.

What’s the worse that could happen?

For those who are more process oriented, the “worst” would be someone simply taking justice into their own hands and removing any possibility this man will ever re-offend.

Too bad granny didn’t take the next step after dousing the “light and brightness” within.

Well, the next time he’ll get the Prius with the child in the back seat comes to mind.

How in the fuck does this illigal alien get a restraining order against the Feds whose job it is to remove him from the country??

That he got the restraining order is absolutely outrageous! 🤬🤬

Martin in reply to mailman. | July 30, 2025 at 9:35 pm

He appears in court in front of a Judge appointed by Joe Biden’s autopen.

    AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to mailman. | July 31, 2025 at 5:24 am

That he got a restraining order against an entity instead of a person is something I can’t fathom

    Imagine:

Judge issuing restraining order to all men to stay away from a woman because she felt triggered.

Um, why do you find that puzzling? Restraining orders are issued against corporations all the time.

        AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to Milhouse. | July 31, 2025 at 9:42 am

Yep. The “light bringer” is a corporation.

He’s an illegal alien who committed crimes that in a sane world would mandate that his ass be removed from the country.

But no, let’s give the “corporation” a restraining order from the people mandated to remove him.

The law is an ass, and in many cases, those who hide behind the law are just as much of an ass.

The only time lawyers want to do what’s right is when the horde is at their doorstep, and then the reaction is “there ought to be a law.”

        Until then, snooze fest.

It’s one of the most baffling things I’ve seen come out of a left wing judge

They had to give him Nican
Why? No one else shoved that fentanyl wherever. Let him run out the consequences of his actions. Restrain him for the safety of others and arrest him if he survives.

Thank got a child didn’t get kidnapped.
Thank God no one in that state was able to effectively fight back and maybe hurt the man or something. Otherwise he wouldn’t have a … *counts on fingers* … a 9th chance.

destroycommunism | July 30, 2025 at 4:29 pm

the state: we dont want this troublemaker in our prison system

but *hopefully* he will be neutralized by a citizen so we can both eliminate reyes and make money off the good samaritans when we put him through the $ystem which also allows us to virtual signal to our people that we wont stand for white on criminal vigilantes

Shame no one gave him a cigarette after they caught him.

I think they meant “Narcan”. And Naloxone, as an opioid receptor blocker, only lasts for 60 to 90 minutes until it requires re-administration due to its pharmacologic half-life being relatively short.

The federal judge that issued the restraining order for ICE is U.S. District Court Judge Rita Lin – a 2023 Joe Biden appointee. We are seeing the intersection of Joe Biden’s gifts to America – seeding the Judicial system with “social justice” judges and the American populous with illegal immigrants neither of which are particularly desirous of following the law. It is going to take an extended effort to purge ourselves of this Biden pandemic.

He’s really stupid too. If you’re fixing to steal a car, your accomplice should be old enough to drive, and operating it from the back seat makes it very hard to steer.

MoeHowardwasright | July 30, 2025 at 5:43 pm

The Circuit Court Judge should be immediately impeached as a danger to the community. She let an illegal with a rap sheet to go back to being a criminal. The only way this insanity stops is to make an example of this out of control judge.

Pencil Neck already has already reserved a time for Margaritas with him down in El Salvador .

They can go get a haircut together at Guillermo’s magnificent barber. The guy’s a Picasso with a Magic Marker. What Guillermo’s sporting isn’t so much a Widow’s Peak as a Widow’s Territorial.

Couldn’t help himself.

If I was a congressman (besides kill myself in despair I would propose a law that any judge who releases an illegal alien accused of crimes back into the community only for that illegal to commit more crimes say within 3 months is not only removed from their position but charged with the same crimes the illegal committed. If the illegal gets convicted so is the former judge. How about having some consequences for bad decisions that are entirely political in nature. There is never a reason to release an illegal alien. They are criminal because they’re illegal.

For that matter deportation of illegal aliens need to be expedited. If your accused of being an illegal you get a hearing and if you can not prove legal residence out you go. No fuss and no muss.

Martin in reply to ztakddot. | July 30, 2025 at 9:29 pm

I believe the charge would properly be aiding and abetting before the fact the crimes of the released person. I also believe that you are correct in your judgment.

The judge that issued that restraining order should be tried as an accessory for all of this stuff. That judge should get the same sentence that this scumbag gets for all that stuff.

Interesting set of priorities on the part of the Judge who kept an illegal alien already convicted of attempted murder out of ICE custody.

Martin in reply to CommoChief. | July 30, 2025 at 9:33 pm

It tells us all we need to know about the judge and the party that put her on the bench and support her decision.

They should have given him a cigarette and we would all be done with this savage waste of flesh.

In Cali … obviously the courts are going to find him not guilty by reason of insanity or because of the drugs. No matter what, it won’t be this illegal’s fault that he’s a menace to society and should be permanently excised from the world.

It is imperative that all reliable Democrat voters be protected from deportation!

This will persist in certain areas as long as the majority of those governed think that they are somehow getting a better deal from incompetent or corrupt leadership. It’s the same dynamic that motivates the abused wife to defend her tormentor. Better to stick with the devil you know than face the potential vicissitudes of uncertainty.

ICE ned to get a new warran for this dirtbag, on the QT, and make a plan to seize him again. This ime, have heir plan well rehearsed and greased so they can almost instantly fling him on an airplane and whisk him off to from whence he came. Let the corrupt idiots in California wail and moan and scream to their heart’s content.. the dirbag will be gone. You want him back? Go find him. And good luck figuring out how to LEGALLY bring him back o California.
