Hundreds of Iran’s IRGC Soldiers, Officers Defecting to Israeli Intel Agency, Reported Mossad Account Says
‘Mossad Farsi’ on X/Twitter: “Hundreds of active IRGC soldiers and officers, fed up with this regime, are reaching out to us.”

A social media account, reportedly belonging to Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency, has claimed it has been contacted by hundreds of soldiers and officers who wish to abandon Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
A Persian-language X/Twitter handle, which styles itself as an official Mossad account, wrote Thursday that it has been overwhelmed by the response it received from members of the IRGC, the Iranian regime’s military arm, and urged willing defectors to be patient and wait to be contacted by the intelligence agency.
“We expected it, but not to this extent!” the Mossad Farsi posted. “Hundreds of active IRGC soldiers and officers, fed up with this regime, are reaching out to us.”
The Twitter account attributed to the Mossad (which does not deny its connection to it):

Hundreds of active Revolutionary Guard soldiers and officers who are tired of this regime are coming to us.
We promise to contact you, please be patient. pic.twitter.com/hUJbqjXp6Z
The Mossad Farsi appears to be a resourceful account. When Iran refused to publicly name the new military chief, fearing his elimination by the IDF, the account revealed General Khatam al-Anbiya as the new head of the regime’s wartime military command.
The Israeli news website Ynetnews reported Wednesday:
In an effort to prevent the assassination of a successor to the successor, Iran decided not to reveal the name of the new commander. But Mossad Farsi (Persian) had other plans.
This mysterious social media account, recently identified as an official channel for messages from Israel’s Mossad in the Persian language, published another intriguing post on the X social media platform Tuesday. This time, it called on followers to guess who they thought is now heading Khatam al-Anbiya.
This is brilliant!

Iran was not revealing identity of its new head of their Emergency Military Command (Khatam al-Anbiya), scared no doubt he could be eliminated like his predecessor/s.
So the Mossad revealed it on X. In case you're wondering, it's: Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi. pic.twitter.com/ZtT7a9uoTJ
The tweet was posted days after the exiled crown prince of Iran, Reza Pahlavi, opened a secure online channel to help disaffected officials, civil servants, and military personnel connect with the opposition movement.
Crown Prince Pahlavi sees the weakening of the Iranian regime in the wake of the Israeli and U.S. strikes as an opportunity for toppling the Mullah regime after 46 years of tyrannical rule.
“This is our Berlin Wall moment,” the 64-year-old exiled prince said in a recent address to the Iranian people.
He asked his countrymen to imagine an Iran without this regime. “Imagine this new Iran,” he said. “A free and democratic Iran, living at peace with our neighbors, an engine of growth and opportunity.”
The UK-based news website Iran International reported Monday:
Iran’s exiled Prince Reza Pahlavi announced the launch of a secure communication channel for Iranian military, law enforcement, security, and government personnel who wish to connect with him and his team.
“For your own security, only scan the QR code during the TV broadcast on this network and then complete the registration form and information,” Pahlavi advised.
The prince warned against scanning any other codes circulated on social media, saying that only the code shown during the official broadcast is valid.
“Since the advertisement began airing, hundreds have already joined this national cooperation effort,” he added.
Pahlavi pledged to keep participants regularly informed about developments and called on trusted members of Iran’s armed and security forces to unite with the nation.
Speaking directly to security personnel who are still loyal to the Islamic Republic, he said, “Now is the time to join the nation. If you do so, I guarantee your service to Iran will not only be remembered but honored.”
The recently concluded 12-day Rising Lion operation by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) suggests that Israel’s Mossad had access to wide-ranging human intelligence reaching up to the top echelons of the Iranian military and regime.

Admission to Israel’s protection should require providing the head of an Iranian military or government leader.
Or at least some very good intel.
Oher body parts could work – there should be a sliding scale.
the swamp grows deeper in israel
take any who say they want to help israel and put them in positions that they can barely affect any policies
its like trusting a moderate dem to become a patriot
Can you explain for us dummies what is it that you’re getting at?
Is there a rest stop between you and the point?
Iran is fueling this. The more they crack down, throwing anybody they suspect of being less than fanatical in their favor into a grave, the more actual supporters of the regime start looking rather nervously at the exits. Even the fanatics are willing to point fingers at other fanatics, and the level of bodies continue to rise.
This could also be Mossad rope-a-dope: now the mullahs will be so freaked out that they’ll spend more time and resources arresting and whacking their own people than engaging in external shenanigans.
That occurred to me too. In the early 70s FBI strategy included driving the left paranoid by making them think there was an FBI agent behind every bush and in every affinity group. It’s a great way to distract and demoralize the opposition.
These poor guys are caught between a rock and a very very hard place. If their own leadership doesn’t murder them, they’re liable to be promoted to a level that Israel will think deserves assassination!
It’s likely that this is just meant to gear up the paranoia of the regime. While some in the Revolutionary Guard are probably regretting their life choices, this is the organization that keeps the mullahs in power and for the most part consists of true believers and the utterly ruthless.
The Iranian government has been purging anyone who it has even the slightest suspicion of being an Israeli resource. We’ll see if this has any effect. It would be hilarious if the Iranian government started purging the ones who keep them in power.
There’s always a possibility of a psyop engineered to confuse and disrupt the IRGC, except for two things – the communication appears to be genuine, and senior IRGC officers are involved. I suspect that the Mossad will contact them, assess the possibility of an overthrow, and assist them if plausible. One thing appears to be genuine -the Iranian people have had enough of the ayatollah and the mullahs.
