Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche wants to meet with Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein’s associate.
I wonder how this will turn out. I cannot see Maxwell giving up anything without a deal. She’s serving 20 years in prison after a jury convicted her of sex trafficking of a minor, transporting a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and conspiracy.
Maxwell has already said “she’s willing to testify before Congress on Epstein’s apparent full client list.”

President Trump has told us to release all credible evidence. If Ghislane Maxwell has information about anyone who has committed crimes against victims, the FBI and the DOJ will hear what she has to say.
Therefore, at the direction of Attorney General Bondi, I have communicated with counsel for Ms. Maxwell to determine whether she would be willing to speak with prosecutors from the Department. I anticipate meeting with Ms. Maxwell in the coming days. Until now, no administration on behalf of the Department had inquired about her willingness to meet with the government. That changes now.

Bondi already requested the Southern District of New York to unseal grand jury transcripts from July 2, 2019, and June 29, 2020.
So far, it’s all words. The fury behind anything Epstein won’t stop until we know his clients and what happened.
A few days ago, The New York Post reported that Maxwell has supposedly been documenting “absolutely everything” as she speaks to her lawyers every day.
Maxwell’s former cellmate said the former madam “isn’t suicidal in the least.” Therefore, if anything happens, it will arouse even more suspicion about Epstein’s supposed suicide.

Yeah, there’s a lot of testimony from Epstein’s victims as part of multi-million dollar civil suits against multimillionaires. There was a lot of testimony against Bret Kavanaugh too.
But just to play Devil’s Advocate, how likely is it that multiple rich & connected people are so desperate for teenage recreation that they would do so in a location they don’t control, as a guest of a person they only kind of know, with a young lady they just met? I can only imagine the briefing that their respective head of security and on-retainer legal counsel would give them long before any such trip.

I understand your point, but in return you need to consider just how depraved some rich, powerful people can be. We think we understand the limits but we don’t. You suggest that logic would keep these people from going to Playground Island, but logic has little to do with it (witness Prince Andrew, as one such rich/powerful person).

Release all the information. If prominent, powerful people decided to hang around with Epstein/Maxwell on a recurring basis then at minimum that demonstrates a lack of good decision making. Depending on the information it may also show their lack of moral character or even criminal actions.
You certainly have the right to associate with whomever you choose but the rest of us are entitled to make inferences and draw conclusions based on the information to hand. I am under zero obligation to folks who pal around with paedophiles to withhold judgement based on incomplete information when the information is being purposefully withheld. Legally sure but not morally and if we.choose to shun and seek to exclude them from polite society and positions of power/influence that’s our right.
