Democrats Delete Post Showing Grocery Prices Skyrocketed Under Biden

The Democrats deleted a post trying to “own” President Donald Trump over grocery prices but it showed the prices skyrocketed under former President Joe Biden.
In fact, the portion after Biden’s presidency showed steady prices so far during Trump’s second term.
The Democrats kept the post up for over three hours, giving people plenty of time to mock the party.

It’s no wonder the Democrats approval rating is so low. They’re stupid.
I admit I’m still not happy about prices under Trump.
Prices continue to rise under Trump but nowhere near Biden’s numbers.
You all know I hash out the numbers, looking at individual items. Eggs have gone down. Others have gone up.
But, man, it is nothing compared to what happened under Biden.
Inflation hit highs that America hadn’t seen since the 1980s:
Under Biden, inflation surged to rates unseen since the early 1980s, peaking at an annual rate of 9.1% in June 2022 — 17 months after he took office.
By the end of Biden’s term in the White House, the cost of food had ballooned more than 22% from the time he took the oath of office, federal data shows.
Meanwhile, under Trump, food prices have increased by about 0.6% since January.

Especially since all you had to do was limit the graph to the time period of last July to now and change the scale. Any little bumps will look huge, and you remove that tail of Trump’s first term. If you want to lie using statistics, you have to learn how.
That is what $4T in unnecessary stimulus will do for you.

The Democrat Party is looking more and more like Biden every day.
In all fairness the greatest jump was during the covid panicdemic but that doesn’t mean the Dimocrats couldn’t take mitigating steps to keep the increase down. They didn’t and now it’s right in front of the whole world to see. It’s kind of funny but kind of not funny either.
Shooting ones self in the foot is one thing but the Dimocrats keep popping the whole magazine in theirs. You’d think they’d notice what they’re doing after a while but self awareness escapes some people. I wonder if the saner Dims have a few on the inside telling us things like this. If so, fine w/me.

Prices went up because everybody was spending and nobody was producing. The prices regulated the resulting shortage gap.
Inflation took off when wage increases wanted to cover that gap, eliminating the regulation effect.
Higher interest rates (taking dollars out of the economy) shut off the wage increases.
Not much to do with Biden or with Trump.
The interest rates, inflation rose high, and price rise happened under Biden Admin. The government and MSM did not report it properly at the time, but everyone saw it.
At the end of 21 I retired. Me and my wife sold our house in the Atlanta Metro and moved to be closer to my oldest son and his family in Charleston, SC Metro. The movement was also to downside from our large house in GA to a smaller place in SC since our youngest son had previously moved out years before to a house in the Atlanta metro area.
The costs we saw in 22 and since in SC showed us several things: 1) while Biden was in office prices and interest rates were high, 2) once Trump got into office prices have been going down and inflation is down but interest is being held up by the Fed when it should not be. Being retired in SC saved us tax money.
We do the Dave Ramsey envelope system for groceries. We’ve done it since 2009 for simplicity in budgeting (we have no debt). So we KNOW exactly what things have cost to the dollar during that era
Our grocery envelope $ more than DOUBLED during Biden’s term. Very early on we had to start raiding the entertainment envelope to get to the next month’s budget. We have the means to spend whatever- but this cannot have been fun for those living paycheck to paycheck.
To be fair, I still think this chart under-reports based on the price increases across the board in what I buy. $4 OJ is now $6 OJ. $4 ice cream is now $6 ice cream $4 cereal is now $6 cereal. That 30% should be 40-50%, and remember, seniors saw their SS increase based on the absurdly low 3% numbers that Brandon et al were putting out at the time. And the Fast Food increases outstrip those at the store by another 10-20%.
But if you point this out to a dem they will completely deny it, and likely explains why those who tweeted and retweeted it, because they just could not conceive of the possibility that they had been lied to by their own people.
