CO Democrat: Gabbard’s Allegations Are ‘Dangerous’; Done to Curry Favor With Trump
“Well, Shannon, let’s be really clear here. There is no new information.”
During an interview on Fox News Sunday, host Shannon Bream asked Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) whether a special counsel was warranted following Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s release of documents alleging that former President Barack Obama led the effort to weaponize U.S. intelligence agencies against Donald Trump in 2016.
“Well, you know, the allegations and the conspiracy theories by Tulsi Gabbard would be sad if they weren’t so dangerous,” Crow replied. “She has turned herself into basically a weapon of mass distraction, is what I’ve been calling it, because it’s very clear what’s happening here. She’s trying to curry favor and get back into favor with Donald Trump, and has concocted these theories to do so.”
He added, “But let’s be really clear here that the Russian investigation and allegations of Russian interference into the election, have been the most examined and reexamined finding in the intelligence community history. There have been four investigations, including a bipartisan Senate investigation led under the first Trump administration and led in part by Marco Rubio. That was very, very clear on these findings.”

Bream pushed back on Crow’s refusal to acknowledge that the newly released documents—particularly a declassified 2020 House Intelligence Committee report—found that the Obama-era intelligence community lacked direct evidence that Russian President Vladimir Putin sought to help elect Trump in 2016, yet published the claim anyway at Obama’s direction.
Bream read specific passages from the report including one that showed Putin did not care who won the election. According to the House report, Putin had told a confidant that “in either case, Russia was strategically placed to outmaneuver either one.”
Crow’s response? “Well, Shannon, let’s be really clear here. There is no new information.”
And so it went—for nearly nine minutes. The congressman from Colorado came across as disingenuous, defensive, and unwilling to engage in a good-faith discussion. Rather than offering thoughtful responses, he appeared to be just another Democrat rigidly towing the party line, deflecting criticism instead of addressing the substance of the revelations.
There was, however, one talking point Crow left out: he didn’t say that the document release was strategically timed to divert attention from the growing scandal surrounding Trump’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein. He must have forgotten.
Fox News posted the interview on social media, where several users were quick to highlight Crow’s earlier attempt to downplay reports that members of the transnational gang Tren de Aragua had taken over apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado, and were engaging in violent acts.
Here’s what Crow told constituents who were worried about gang activity last fall:
Those exaggerating and distorting the Aurora gang issue need to stop. Their misrepresentations are not based in reality.
I've met and spoken with federal law enforcement and local leaders: the gang issues are being grossly exaggerated and misrepresented.
Current gang activity…

How is this an exaggeration or distortion?
These are Venezuelan gang members terrorizing homes in your state of Colorado which is now a sanctuary state for these violent thugs.
You’re inviting illegals to make your state their home.
Shame on you Crow.pic.twitter.com/4bJchmnKNl

If Democrats are wondering why their approval ratings have hit record lows, interviews and social media posts like these may offer a clue. Simply put, the public is tired of being misled by politicians.

We have always known that Obozo was behind the Russia hoax, so Gabbard has not ‘concocted’ any theories.
She just released documents that confirm what everybody knows..
Indeed. Notice that he didn’t say any of the allegations or information was false.
Just remember, Gabbard is a Democrat. Her father is a legislator in Hawaii and is as liberal as they come. She’s not some John Birch Society whack job. She’s an U.S. Army officer. She’s nothing if not a patriot.
Obama could quite possibly be the most dangerous man in American history. He’s managed to subvert the Republic to the thunderous applause of his faithful. He thinks that his skin color shields him from the consequences of his actions.
He should be indicted, right along with his treasonous minions. If a jury of his peers finds him guilty (as they should) then he should face the consequences.
If he’s found guilty of treason, he should face a firing squad.
There’s no possibility of treason in this story. This has no connection to Iran.
Typical Democrat response when their perfidy is revealed: “Move along, nothing to see here.”
These aren’t the droids you’re looking for….
Its a new take on that along the lines of “there is nothing new here” because they know there is nothing new because this information has been known for a long time. The problem for democrats is that, yes its been known, but now that information is not being kept away from the public so that more people get to know what was out there and who did what.
There’s “knowledge” and there’s “proof”. The knowledge has been out there for years. Now there is absolute proof.
You correct the information has been suppressed by your evil party.
Hey, you jerk, shave and put on a tie.
I’m more like either shave it or grow it. You just look seedy.
.
As I have said before, Leftists have their own truth, and it almost never has anything to do with reality.
Exactly. And, what makes them dangerous is they enjoy the benefit of a collective media that is almost universally partnered to help the bring their ‘truth’ into our reality. Yesterday, I received Google, Apple and Perplexity news alerts on my phone all with roughly the same headline: The Senate Approves Trump’s ‘Controversial’ Appellate Court Nominee. (reporting on Bove’s confirmation) They all used that word: controversial.
I’ll wager a month’s salary that during Biden and Obama’s entire tenure, not once did a mainstream media outlet describe a single judicial nominee as ‘controversial.’ Russiagate was so successful for them, all but paralyzing Trump in his first term, because the media made THEIR truth our reality.
“You are entitled to your opinion. But you are not entitled to your own facts.” – Daniel Patrick Moynihan (a Democrat)
Unfortunately, Leftists can’t tell the difference between fact and opinion.
“The congressman from Colorado came across as disingenuous, defensive, and unwilling to engage in a good-faith discussion. Rather than offering thoughtful responses, he appeared to be just another Democrat rigidly towing the party line, deflecting criticism instead of addressing the substance of the revelations.”
We have a Bingo, Elizabeth! Spot on.
He could have been a politburo mouthpiece from the USSR back in the 1950s or so. Nothing will move this functionary from the established party line.
Yes, he is a run of the mill Democrat.
No, he’s a mindreader. He can look into your mind and discern motives.
CO democrat. Enough said.
the only dangerous thing is letting lefty tell maga how to run the country
Jason Crow was an impeachment manager for Trump’s first impeachment trial, so Javert Crow is more than a little questionable when in comes to his judgment about what is new evidence vs. old evidence. He bought the “evidence” used by Adam Schiff hook, line, and sailboat without questioning ANY of it. I don’t know if there is a word that combines partisan hack and overzealous ambulance chaser, but his picture would illustrate it in the dictionary.
“Myrmidon.”
Or, in today’s degenerate language usage, “Minion.” And I do mean the yellow kind.
The allegations are supposed to be dangerous, after all treason is a capital offense.
There’s no possibility of treason in anything alleged here. Even assuming the absolute worst, there’s no way to make out a treason charge.
If 0bama ever is charged with treason, it’ll be over Iran, not this.
Presidential immunity applies to “official acts.” In Trump v. US the SCOTUS made explicit that presidential immunity does not apply to “non-official acts.”
Treason and seditious conspiracy are acts against the state itself, thus can never be official acts, by definition, and therefore can not be protected from prosecution via presidential immunity.
Yes, if there is a crime to be made out here (not treason), I doubt official immunity would apply.
Too much carbon monoxide in CO.
“Well, Shannon, let’s be really clear here. There is no new information.”
Shut up and help Kash sort through these bags, a*hole.
Jason Crow spent much of Dec 2016 trying to get Trump electoral college delegates to switch to Hillary Clinton.
