Sports Twitter was on fire last night after Olympic legend Simone Biles went after women’s sports advocate Riley Gaines in a heated exchange over the inclusion of trans athletes in girls’ sports. Gaines and her supporters didn’t hold back.
According to the New York Post, the spat kicked off after Gaines responded to a Minnesota high school softball team’s state championship win. The team included a transgender player, pitcher Marissa Rothenberger, who helped deliver a shutout in the title game.
