President Trump Urges Israel to Call Off Retaliatory Strikes After Iran Violates Ceasefire
President Donald Trump to Israel: “Do not drop those bombs. Bring your pilots home, now!”

President Donald Trump, on Tuesday morning, urged Israel to call off any retaliatory strikes after Iran violated the U.S.-brokered ceasefire by firing multiple ballistic missiles at Israel.
“Israel. Do not drop those bombs. If you do it is a major violation. Bring your pilots home, now!” President Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The CNBC News reported the President’s remarks:
U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday said that a ceasefire was in effect, soon after Iranian state-linked media announced Tehran had fired its “last round” of missiles at Israel.
“THE CEASEFIRE IS NOW IN EFFECT. PLEASE DO NOT VIOLATE IT!” Trump said in a post on Truth Social around 1:00 a.m. stateside. (…)
Within hours of the declaration, Israel accused Iran of violating the ceasefire with further missile strikes — which Tehran has refuted, according to Iranian media.
Trump said he is “not happy” with both Tehran and Israel, urging the Jewish state not to go ahead with a retaliatory missile strike against Iran.

Israel scales down military response to Iranian ceasefire breach
Following President Trump’s remarks, Jerusalem appears to have scaled down its planned military response to the Iranian ceasefire violation. “Israel limited the scope of its attack on Iran on Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump said after he spoke with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,” the Israeli news website Ynetnews reported. “Israel was set to launch a bombing raid after a missile was launched from Iran, a couple of hours after a ceasefire came into effect.”
Shortly after the President Trump-backed ceasefire came into effect on Tuesday morning, Iran fired at least two ballistic missiles at Israel. “One hour after Prime Minister Netanyahu confirmed the ceasefire with Iran, the regime launched multiple ballistic missiles into Israel, breaking the agreement,” the Tel Aviv-based ILTV reported.
Israeli Defense Minister, Israel Katz, had vowed to respond with retaliatory strikes “against regime targets in the heart of Tehran.”
Slamming “Iran’s blatant violation of the ceasefire declared by the President of the United States—by launching missiles toward Israel, Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that he had “instructed the IDF, in coordination with the Prime Minister, to continue the intense operations targeting regime assets and terror infrastructure in Tehran.”
Two Iranian missiles, which were fired in breach of the ceasefire, were intercepted by Israeli air defense systems. No injuries were reported. The IDF had planned to retaliate forcefully to Tehran’s aggression in keeping with its new military doctrine, the Israeli defense minister indicated.
“Though there were no reports of injuries in Israel, Katz said that the new policy is to respond with strength to even a small violation of the ceasefire announced by US President Donald Trump overnight between Monday and Tuesday,” the Jerusalem Post observed.
Iran also fired a barrage of missiles ahead of the ceasefire, with one breaching the Israeli air defenses, killing four and wounding several others in the southern Israeli city of Be’er Sheva. “A preliminary investigation by Israel’s Home Front Command reports that the four people killed in Iran’s ballistic missile attack on Be’er Sheva were sheltering in their safe rooms when the projectile hit,” the Israeli TV channel i24NEWS reported. “The missile directly hit two bomb safe rooms, completely destroying one of them, and killing four people inside them, according to the probe.”
Meanwhile, the Iranian regime and its terrorist proxies are selling the ceasefire as a great victory.

Why? Iran provokes and kills people. There should be consequences or they’ll never learn (personally I don’t think they’ve been smashed enough to “get it.”)
Because that’s what Iran wants.
Hold off for now but keep the righteous hand of God ready to smite thy enemy if the moooolahs really reeeeally want to keep going at it.
Yup. Israel needs to do what they need to do.
Trump used an F-bomb, so Powerline just banned him. Scott Johnson does not care for potty mouths!
“The fuck” is an epithet, not a reference of any kind, so there’s no need to be prudish about it. It takes advantage of the grammar to color the whole remark that it appears in. Original form: “in the fuck,” as in “in the world,” same diagnosis.
Powerline, wow, I stopped reading that when green footballs were popular.
Who cares about Powerline?
Exactly. But Trump believes that Iran and Israel are equally at fault. Trump is delusional.
Point out exactly where he said that, retard.
Slow down. This is the Middle East, not a Manhattan style real estate negotiation with goals deals and publicly announced conclusions.
Tell Israel not to retaliate then let Iran know the US is about to destroy more of their infrastructure. Then destroy more of their infrastructure and ask if they are done now. Because unlike them, we can do this all day.
It is in the interest of America (ours) and Trump’s that the war stop. Iran has been defanged (for the moment). Continued war only kills more. Like in teaching, continuous lessons (fighting) engender learning fatigue. After a pause, let the (bomb for rocket) lessons resume.
Wrong!!
trump takes wrong tone with israel
trying to appease the criminals of iran is left wing baby sh that has gotten this country into deeppppp trouble
look at our schools
look at the blmplo street armies
iran attacked a school
israel has the right to attack back
not deend attack back on the gangsters
correction:
not defend but attack on the gangsters
“trump takes wrong tone with israel (BTW caps are your friend)
Really? Trump sent a warning shot to the deep state to let them know who is in control here.
If you really want a solution, then stop this crap. Will Israel swallow their pride and work for a solution or loose our support?
Israel does not exist without the US. Instead of letting things take their course, Israels keeps making the problem worst.
Agree 100% that Israel has a right to self determination, but once the US put skin in the game, it is our baby.
Trump has actually positioned himself as a solution for everyone’s problems over there. If it is not solve, we all pay a price for it.
Sorry, I don’t want my son or daughter fighting for goats. Time for a regime change in both Israel and Iran if they do not get their act together.
Many of the issues with Israel are self inflicted. Many are caused by others too. As a friend, we stick up for Israel. but at what cost?
Trump is fighting dragons here, America First. Trumps statement is the first one I agree with in a long time. They don’t know what the F they are doing is saying out loud what many of us think.
It was meant for the Deep State.
“meant for the deep state”
will just have to disagree on that
“israel self inflicted”
not when it comes to being attacked by those who have vowed to destroy them
they know exactly what they are doing
iran knows it doesnt give a sh about bad pr and israel knows they can be destroyed with just one or 2 well placed attacks
According to reports, it was Israel,..they unloaded on Iran just hours before the negotiated and announced cease fire was to go into effect
and of course the israelis stated that they were responding ( hence the “turn around your planes”) as was trump with THAT statement
And under the terms of the cease fire, that was allowable. Each side had X number of hours to end operations and if they wanted to bomb up to that minute, it was not a violation.
What’s the news on regime change?
I’ve seen conflicting information.
Major outlets are mum on who is in charge.
Some were posting / speculating on X that the Ayotolla is out. Haven’t seen any confirm.
If there is no regime change… there will be no peace. Post 1979 Iran will do what they have always done.
Dr.Jill is offering her services to the iranians
In what capacity?
So instead of informing Iran that violations of the ceasefire agreement with Israel will result in serious and possibly deadly consequences he tells the aggrieved party, Israel, not to respond to Iran’s provocation. Just how pathetic is that.
Sounds like one of those school principals that threatens punishment for the kid attacked, not the attacking kid.
Almost 0 coverage of iranian killing at least 3 in missile strikes
some run it briefly in the headlines but nothing in the article and of course abc cnn etc only have “israel continues”……….
major mistake djt to chastise israel on this
major mistake!
have family in haifa and tel aviv–while a cease fire reduces the risk to israelis as iran’s targeting is indiscriminate, believe a cease fire at this juncture might be premature–israel and many countries around the world have had to endure the effects of iran’s/radical muslim’s hatred and violence–iran is the major financial sponsor of the same and has been for decades–that fact is indisputable and innocent people dying is enough evidence for me–take their money (as in, nationalize their oilfields) and send the mullahs into the desert with a camel and a tent–let them plead with allah for mercy but not israel, not us or the other innocents in this world
the world ignores oct 7 massacre of innocent people by dnc thinking iran backed murderers
but sing a song with the n word and the same anti jews will assure you wont have a job
good luck to your family!!
why do you think iran thought it was in their own best interest to take a cease fire???
(whether or not they honor it is another whole story on its own)
a cease fire FAVORS IRAN
I saw a headline a few moments ago that now Trump opposes “regime change”’in Iran. What’s going on?
this “regime change” is alllll bs pr scare political gibberish
so what! change the regime oh no the msm cry out interference by the wht people colonialism etc etc
who gives a f what they say!!!!
“Regime change” is a phrase that has fallen out of favor since all the scandals about how the CIA abused the concept for over 50 years. Like “Manifest Destiny.”
In what way did the CIA “abuse” it? Were any of the changes it supported not right? Not in US interests?
Just drop the bombs in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, or Gaza. I’m sure there are some prime Iranian targets in those countries. Hell, blow up an Iranian embassy or two, accidently of course.
There has to be a response or Iran will keep throwing hands, like a schoolyard bully. Iran should be happy they’re dealing with Trump instead of someone like me because I’d personally target Khamenei’s family members. That, he would understand.
I think the idea is that an uprising in Iran and overthrow of the government is the best course going forward,
And the concern is that too much US involvement and too much stomping when it doesn’t appear necessary will spur the public’s view against Israel and the US.
I have no idea what the right threading of the needle is, but I think that is one of the major thoughts.
We also never know how much is theater.
Big mistake, letting the regime survive. These Islamofascist pukes will continue their belligerent attacks and mischief-making against the U.S. and allies.
Only steps that oust the malevolent Iranian regime will solve this. That means attacks on oil refineries, pipelines, ports, terminals and assorted oil production and export infrastructure. The economic effects must be tolerated to get rid of the Iranian Islamofascist cancer.
Agree. Trump isn’t clearly against regime change, at least publicly. If he’s telling Israel privately to back off, Israel should do it anyway. Because none of the other middle east countries will lift a finger. They should all pay tax to Israel for defending their security.
Netanyahu and Trump have made it a point that they are fighting the ruling class of terrorists- who terrorize their own people as well as others,
And that they have no quarrel with the many Persians who want freedom.
It is easier to argue that when taking out only government and military positions, not targets that will devastate the population.
That at least is the desire.
The US and Israel cannot be seen to be the saviors,
neither should they become pariahs.
Apparently not a working majority of Persians wants freedom. I don’t see them overthrowing this regime.
And they are responsible for that. By the way the regime probably had significant support in 1979 allowing it to take over. We can talk all we want about the beautiful old culture of Persia, but they tolerate radical Islam now.
According to Jonathan Pollard, Trump tipped off Iran that the bombing was coming. This, and his declaration that what he named the “12 day war” is over afterward, is weird.
On the upside, I read that Lebanon and Syria are about to join the Abraham Accords. Hopefully Saudi follows soon, be there or be square!
https://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2025/06/23/report-iran-fires-at-u-s-bases-in-qatar-iraq-missiles-intercepted/
Iran fired ballistic missiles at U.S. bases in Qatar and Iraq on Monday, according to reports from the region, though the missiles were apparently intercepted without doing damage.
SO IRAN CONTINUES THEIR WAYS AFTER TRUMP INSULTS ISRAEL BY ORDERING THEM TO
TURN BACK THE JETS ,,,AFTER IRAN bombed and murdered at least 3 more
