Israel Hits Nuclear Reactor Under Construction, Iran Bombs Major Hospital

The IDF: Israeli fighter jets also “struck a nuclear weapons development site in the area of Natanz.”

As the Operation ‘Rising Lion’ entered its seventh day, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) struck a major blow to Tehran’s nuclear weapons program by hitting a reactor and weapons-grade plutonium production facility in central Iran’s Arak region.

“As part of the strikes, and as part of the broad effort to prevent the Iranian regime from obtaining a nuclear weapon, the nuclear reactor in the area of Arak in Iran was targeted, including the structure of the reactor’s core seal, which is a key component in plutonium production,” the IDF said in a statement Thursday morning.

Israeli fighter jets also renewed their strikes on Iran’s main nuclear weapons facility in Natanz, which is located in central Iran. “Additionally, the IAF struck a nuclear weapons development site in the area of Natanz. The site contained components and specialized equipment used to advance nuclear weapons development, and projects designed to accelerate the regime’s nuclear program were hosted there,” the Israel military disclosed.

The Iranian state media admitted the strikes on Arak reactor. No radiation was registered following the strikes, Iranian sources confirmed. Citing Iranian state television, The Times of Israel reported that “Israel had attacked Iran’s Arak heavy water reactor. … There was ‘no radiation danger whatsoever’ and the facility had already been evacuated before the attack.”

The Israeli military issued an evacuation order for the area surrounding the Arak nuclear reactor in order to minimize Iranian casualties. The move exposed Iran’s inability to protect the nuclear site despite a prior warning and highlights Israel’s growing air dominance after a week-long conflict.

The IDF announced that “air defense batteries, surface-to-surface missile storage sites, detection radar systems, and detection equipment belonging to the Iranian regime, were neutralized from the air” in the recent waves of strikes.

Israeli hospital struck in Iranian missile attack on Israel

At least 200 people were injured when an Iranian missile directly hit a large hospital in the southern Israeli city of Be’er-Sheva, local media reported Thursday morning.

Iran repeotedly used internationally banned cluster munition in strike on the Be’er-Sheva hospital.

“Iran used banned cluster munitions in missiles fired at Israel in the Thursday morning attack,” the Israeli news website Ynetnews repeoted. “Following the determination, the IDF warned the public not to touch or move suspected explosives that may still be on the ground.”

Despite Israeli air defense systems intercepting most of the incoming Iranian missiles, at least seven “direct hits” were reported Wednesday night on Israeli population centers. Iran launched a wave of coordinated nighttime aerial attacks that the Ynetnews described as “a combined missile and drone attack” targeting towns and cities indiscriminately.

“An Iranian ballistic missile struck Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva on Thursday morning as sirens sounded across Israel following a barrage launched from Iran,” the Jerusalem Post reported.

According to the report, a hospital spokesperson said, “There has been damage to the hospital after it was hit in several areas, and there was a significant impact on the hospital’s old surgical building.”

Overnight missile strikes were reported in several Israeli cities. “Direct hits were reported in Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan [and] Holon,” the Israeli TV channel i24NEWS reported. “Many residents across the country [have] reported hearing explosions amid warnings of missile fire from Iran.”

A lot of garbage news coming out that question the effectiveness of GBU-57 bunker buster bombs on Fordow. Claims that they won’t completely destroy the underground facility, only collapse tunnels or bury it under rubble because the facility is possibly 90 meters underground and the bombs supposedly penetrate only 61 meters. Bull hockey likely coming from the same intelligence circle that denied Iran was developing nuclear weapons. Even assuming the numbers are 100% accurate, collapsing tunnels and burying the complex in rubble would seem to effectively destroy its ability to ever function as an enrichment facility. And Israeli commandos on the ground can mop up what remains, if anything.

Not to mention if the scientist are at work, they will have a really bad day with 200 meters of dirt collapsing on top them. On the bright side, it will open up some promotional opportunities for up and coming cannon fodder, err scientists.

Can’t wait till the MOABs take out Natanz.

Drop one every hour. Eventually you’d get there.

It’s good to hear that there is a way to collapse the tunnels. How many miles of tunnels they have, does anybody know? Same as to how deep are the tunnels? Are they 90 m underground or half mile? Somebody said at one point in time. Regardless, they’ve got to be destroyed because if they’re not, Iran will nuke Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and then somewhere in the United States and then everybody will say why didn’t US do X?

It doesn’t matter how deep the facility. All accesses to the facility must come to the surface. However deep your bombs can penetrate, that’s how deep the facility’s access infrastructure can be destroyed.

Exactly WHEN can they say the regime is toppled and next gov can start taking action.

They won’t surrender, they will go into hiding and guerrilla terror mode.

bbc downplayed the hospital strike and said that the reason the hospital was hit b/c trump demanded iran surrender

LIke I said before Iran only needs a few strikes to really hurt israel b/c the country is sooo small

end iran NOW or they will win!

I predict that Trump will attack shortly, using Iran war crimes attacks on civilians and hospitals as one reason. IMO an unstated reason will be that it increases the odds of regime change.

Slight disagreement. I think an attack on the Natanz will occur soon because Trump has said he will not allow Iran to have a nuke, and we are the only ones who can use a conventional warhead on it with a reasonable shot of wiping the facility out. Let the Israeli’s handle the rest.

As much as I would like the US to bomb Iran’s uranium enrichment facility I don’t think I would do it if I was president unless I could directly tie it to a recent attack on US assets. There is enough crap going on in this country without adding to it and there would be minimal support from the opposition which is always bad when carrying out such a high-profile military attack. As much as I support Israel and despise the antisemite Pro terrorist ignorant stupid progressive rabble the needs of the US have to come first if you’re the US president.

It should be mentioned that in addition to hitting the hospital, Iranian weapons destroyed 2 buildings at the Weitzman Institute. The first was a building from chemistry that was under construction. The second was a biology building where advanced research was being done. This again illustrates the difference between muslim savages and well almost anyone else except the western progressives who cheer them on while demonizing israel.
