Israel Conducts First Naval Strike Against Houthi Terrorists, Hits Yemen Port Linked to Iranian Weapons Shipment
IDF: “The strikes were carried out to stop the use of the port for military purposes.”

Israel’s navy, on Tuesday, struck Yemen’s terrorist-linked port city of Hodeida, carrying out the first seaborne strike against Iranian-backed Houthi jihadist group
Israel vowed to ramp up retaliatory action against the Yemen-based terrorist group if missile and drone attacks against the country continue. “Israel stepped up pressure on Yemen’s Houthis on Tuesday, deploying its navy to hit targets in the Red Sea port of Hodeidah and threatening the Iran-aligned movement with a naval and air blockade if attacks on Israel persist,” Reuters reported.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) disclosed the targeting of the Houthi-held port. “This morning …, Israeli Navy Missile Ships struck terror targets belonging to the Houthi terrorist regime in the port of Hudaydah in Yemen,” the IDF said in a statement Tuesday. “The strikes were conducted following the aggression of the Houthi terrorist regime toward the State of Israel, including the launch of surface-to-surface missiles and UAVs toward Israeli territory and its citizens.”

The port of Hudaydah, Yemen’s second largest port, serves as a logistical hub for weapons shipments from Iran, Israeli media reports disclosed. “The strikes were carried out to stop the use of the port for military purposes. The port has been struck by the IDF over the past year and continues to be used for terrorist purposes,” the statement added. “The port is used to transfer weapons and is a further example of the Houthi terrorist regime’s cynical exploitation of civilian infrastructure in order to advance terrorist activities.”
The IDF issued an evacuation order for the terrorist-linked port in an effort to minimize civilian casualties.

Following the Hamas-led October 7 massacre, Houthis under Iranian direction launched a jihad campaign against Israel, firing hundreds of missiles and drones. The terrorist group used its ports in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea to hijack and attack Western-owned ships in a bid to enforce a blockade of Israel.
Since the beginning of the Gaza war, “40 ballistic missiles and dozens of attack drones and cruise missiles at Israel, including one that killed a civilian and wounded several others in Tel Aviv in July,” The Times of Israel noted Tuesday.
This is in addition to hundreds of rockets fired by the terrorist group towards Israel. The “Houthi terrorist regime has launched approximately 320 UAVs toward Israel, over 100 of which were intercepted by the Israeli Air Force,” a report released by the IDF in January 2025 estimated.
The Israeli news website Ynetnews noted Tuesday:
The Houthis have repeatedly launched missiles and drones at Israel since the outbreak of the war in Gaza. On Monday, the group fired another missile toward Israel, but it failed to reach its target and did not trigger air raid sirens. The most recent Houthi projectile to activate alarms came last Thursday, when a ballistic missile was intercepted over Jerusalem during protests in the capital and in Tel Aviv.
Houthis — whose official slogan declares “Allah is Great, Death to America, Death to Israel, Curse on the Jews, Victory for Islam” — were placed on the list of foreign terrorist organizations by the Trump administration in January 2025.
Day 37: Operation Gideon’s Chariots
The IDF expanded the security buffer zone in southern Gaza as Operation Gideon’s Chariots enters its sixth week. The move comes as Hamas continues to fire rockets at Israel using designated civilian zones. “A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip triggered sirens in southern Israel’s Zikim area, before being intercepted by aerial defenses, according to the Israel Defense Forces,” the i24NEWS reported Tuesday.
IDF troops demolished over 1,200 "terror infrastructures" in the Khan Younis suburb of Khuzaʽa during a recent operation in the area, as part of efforts to expand Israel's buffer zone along the border with the Gaza Strip, the military says.

Ynetnews reported the latest IDF operational activities:
The IDF said Tuesday it had completed an operation to expand its security buffer near the Gaza border, destroying a Hamas tunnel in the process as part of its ongoing campaign to dismantle terror infrastructure.
Troops from the IDF’s 188th Armored Brigade conducted the mission in the southern Gaza area of Khirbet Ikhza’a, which the military described as a central Hamas stronghold. The army said dozens of militants were killed and over 1,200 above- and below-ground terror infrastructure sites were destroyed during the operation, which included airstrikes and engineering activity.

Good practice for the navy.
Once again, tiny Israel is doing what an utterly and indefensibly emasculated, feckless and cowed European, leftist dhimmi and American Dhimmi-crat leadership should have done, years ago, the minute that these Islamofascist terrorist-thugs attacked U.S. and allied commercial shipping and military vessels.
Islamofascism and Muslim terrorism could be largely crushed, if the west had the gumption and will to decisively and unabashedly combat it.
Military power isn’t lacking in the west — only courage and will.
Raymond Ibrahim made this point in a trenchant essay, years ago. It’s the west’s posture of obsequious, cowed, emasculated and feckless dhimmitude that allows Islamofascism/Muslim terrorism to thrive.
“ZOMG! We can’t be seen as attacking a religion! That would wrong or something!”
/stupid people whose minds have been warped by Progressivism
Islam’s view of God is quite demented. Maybe there is something demented about the Muslim’s psyche.
Good! Keep it up!
did that include greta??
Hey Israel, please send us a few folks to take care of the LA riots!!!
President Trump seems to be handling it just fine.
👍
Could Israel just clear Hamas out of the remaining third of Gaza ending Hamas’ reign there and ending the war so Israel ceases to be under existential threat or are a couple of upper class twits in faculty lounges who are having a field day attacking Israel over the war saying Gaza is occupied territory and being right more terrifying than Israel being an extinction watch?
If Israel wants BDS to be in the mainstream and itself to go extinct it will continue the sitskrieg it has going.
War is never about did you hit military targets it is about goals and Israel seems to be determined not to achieve those.
Hamas is publicly murdering people for going to collect aid from Israel.
It is an utter disgrace.
END THE WAR IN VICTORY OR MAKE THE SURRENDER OFFICIAL.
Israel has no chance of survival without defeating the genocide blood libel, and it seems determined to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
