Democrats Planning Nationwide ‘No Kings’ Anti-Trump Protests This Weekend

Democrats Planning Nationwide ‘No Kings’ Anti-Trump Protests This Weekend

“From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we’re taking action to reject authoritarianism—and show the world what democracy really looks like.”

Democrats and assorted never-Trumpers are planning anti-Trump protests this weekend under the banner of ‘No Kings.’

It’s unclear why these losers think Trump sees himself as a king, but what else do these people have left but protests? They have shown repeatedly for months now, that they have nothing to offer the American people but their objections.

Randi Weingarten, the head of the country’s largest teacher union, is involved for some reason.

They’re using Flag Day, a day Trump has planned a U.S. Military parade, as the day to do this.

From their website:

On June 14—Flag Day—President Trump wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday. A spectacle meant to look like strength. But real power isn’t staged in Washington. It rises up everywhere else.

No Kings is a nationwide day of defiance. From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we’re taking action to reject authoritarianism—and show the world what democracy really looks like.

We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind.

The flag doesn’t belong to President Trump. It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it.

On June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere he isn’t—to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings.

The flag doesn’t belong to Trump? Which one, the Mexican flag or the Communist flag? Those are the only two flags I’ve seen leftists waving over the last week.

This is obviously some kind of attempt to ‘reclaim’ patriotism, as some on the left have been urging Democrats to do in recent weeks. Good luck with that after the disgusting displays in California for the last four days.

Also, anyone who remembers the George W. Bush presidency and the left’s love of using the term ‘King George’ knows this is just a reminder that the left has not had an original idea in years.

The liberal media is just giddy about it.

From Newsweek:

What Are the ‘No Kings’ Protests?

The “No Kings” protests are a “nationwide day of defiance” to “reject authoritarianism,” according to the event’s organizers. Dozens of grassroots groups are organizing the nationwide protests.

Ezra Levin, co-founder of Indivisible, one of those groups, told Newsweek that the goal of the protest is to send a message that the United States “has no kings” amid Trump’s military parade in the nation’s capital, which coincides with the president’s 79th birthday.

“He is planning to roll tanks through the streets of D.C. in celebration of his birthday, and that’s the kind of thing you normally wouldn’t see in a constitutional republic, certainly not America,” Levin said. “It’s something you’d see in North Korea or other authoritarian regimes.”

The point of the protest isn’t just to “show up and be covered,” he said.

“This is actually to send a strong message to leaders and institutions who are considering right now whether to capitulate or whether to fight back, and to send a message that this period we are in right now, this period of authoritarian breakthrough, is temporary. And democracy will reassert itself,” Levin said.

Read that last part again. It’s basically an admission that the left doesn’t believe the election in November was legitimate. Democracy only counts when they win.

I can’t speak for others on this, but I have left-wing protest fatigue. When are they not protesting?

I just don’t care.

69,975,000 are purple haired they/them, screaming lesbians and soyboys. I got enough to handle the rest myself. They will scream in blue cities aligning themselves with the invaders waving Mexican flags and burning LA while Americans watch. The campaign ads are writing themselves

You are so far up this moron’s fat ass it’s just sad.

You can’t see how INSANELY inappropriate it is to deploy troops to LA ? Are you seriously that clueless ?((rhetorical))
Hey – time to get ready for boogerpick fest, aka the military parade.

How exactly is it insanely inappropriate? Every president, other than Joe Biden, when faced with riots in cities has deployed the National Guard to help. The LA Police chief even said he thought it was necessary and since it is his officers on the ground having to try and get this under control I think his assessment of the situation is much better than Newsom or Bass. And by the way the military parade was planned a few yrs back to celebrate the 250th birthday of the USArmy. Trump may have the same birthday but I think it was going to happen even if he lost the election.

Nope. Cuz it’s NOT insane, f*ckstick.
Why don’t ya try to ‘splain it to us, Cuz?
That is, if your limp noodle of an arm can type after all those chunks of concrete ya been throwin’ (poorly, no doubt) at LAPD and CHP cars.
Be sure to cite appropriate Constitutional and Federal laws that back your position.
I’m not gonna hold my breath, Dinglenuts.

I’d be happy if Trump dropped a bomb on LA. At least the enemy invaders would be vanquished.

The percentage of registered voters in Los Angeles County who are Republicans is 25.22%. This reflects data for the entire state of California, where the Republican party is 25.22% of the registered voters. So you want to kill all of the Republican voters who are trying to make a stand? You are one sick puppy. Someone should drop a bomb on your house.

You f*cking idiot. Do you even math, bro? What an idiotic statement. For the record, dumbass, LA County is 16.7% registered Republican. A paltry pitiable sum.

“Someone should drop a bomb on your house.”

          “Someone” indeed.
Do your own dirty work, Junior. Nut up or shut up. I’m sure ole AF Chief Master SGT will have an appropriate welcome for you should you ever deign to try.

I get 18.7% of all registered voters in the county being registered Republican, but if you eliminate those with no party registration, Republicans are 24.3% of those who do.

The Left used to be absolutely giddy when their guy was playing king with his pen and his phone. And they had no problems with Brandon’s High Capacity Fully-Semi-Autopen, that could spray executive orders at 600 clips per minute. I am Disinclined To Acquiesce to their tantrums now.

It’s starting to feel like we may need to have our own day of protest to contrast these AstroTurf events.

But it wouldn’t be a protest in the traditional sense. We just all agree to go to local parks and have a picnic on the same day and time. When you have 50,000,000 people picnicking in support of our sovereignty maybe that would put things in perspective in terms of “the level of support” out there for expelling illegals and respecting the rule of law.

Because ultimately, it’s about the rule of law…Thomas Sowell really hit it out of the park with his commentary:

Or just stay in places the Marxist scum don’t go.
I won’t go looking for it, but I won’t back down.

We have one here in Columbia, SC and I am taking the golden opportunity to go undercover and pull the old switcheroo at the peak of their frenzy.

The cult lives on and invites the worst to participate in their performance of hate masking as virtue.

For shits and giggles, I looked up the meeting spots in Louisiana.

All in all, the usual suspects. Then I saw Covington.

Covington… Really?

Covington-inside St. Tammany Parish, a parish that has more Republicans and high income earners. A town that people live in to get away from New Orleans.

Yeah, that’s not going to have the best and brightest attending. And those attending won’t be locals.

So then why promote them?

America chose Trump rather than Harris and Walz as the democratic non-king non-fascist option. Seems like the Left’s protest is more a matter of being sore losers than principled opposition.
