UK, Canada, France Gang Up On Israel, Demand Ending IDF Operation as Hamas Stalls Hostage Talks

Israel’s Foreign Ministry says ‘British Mandate ended 77 years ago,’ outside pressure won’t ‘divert Israel from its path’ after UK suspends free trade talks.

The leaders of the United Kingdom, France, and Canada ganged up on Israel, telling Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to end the military operation in Gaza as the terror group Hamas rejects one ceasefire offer after another.

On Monday night, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer joined French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney in ‘condemning’ Israel for the recent ramping up of the military offensive in southern Gaza.

“We strongly oppose the expansion of Israel’s military operations in Gaza,” a joint statement issued by the three leaders said. The condemnation comes three days after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a major offensive in Gaza, named “Operation Gideon’s Chariots,” with the twin goal of freeing the remaining hostages and finishing off Hamas as a terrorist fighting force.

The three leaders urged “the Israeli Government to stop its military operations in Gaza,” claiming that “this escalation is wholly disproportionate.”

“We will not stand by while the Netanyahu Government pursues these egregious actions,” the joint statement added. “If Israel does not cease the renewed military offensive and lift its restrictions on humanitarian aid, we will take further concrete actions in response.”

Prime Minister Netanyahu slammed the trio for seeking to reward the terror group Hamas by backing its demand for a ‘Palestinian state’ in the wake of the October 7 massacre.

“By asking Israel to end a defensive war for our survival before Hamas terrorists on our border are destroyed and by demanding a Palestinian state, the leaders in London, Ottawa and Paris are offering a huge prize for the genocidal attack on Israel on October 7 while inviting more such atrocities,” Prime Minister Netanyahu said.

The Israeli leader explained that the “war can end tomorrow if the remaining hostages are released, Hamas lays down its arms, its murderous leaders are exiled and Gaza is demilitarized.”

“No nation can be expected to accept anything less and Israel certainly won’t,” he observed.

The BBC reported the UK-led diplomatic move to pressure Israel:

[T]he United Kingdom and Canada (…) issued their strongest condemnation yet of the way Israel is fighting the war in Gaza.

Israel, they say, must halt its new offensive, which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says will destroy Hamas, rescue the remaining hostages and put all of Gaza under direct Israeli military control.

Their statement dismisses Netanyahu’s arguments and calls for a ceasefire. Together, the three governments say that they “strongly oppose the expansion of Israel’s military operations in Gaza” adding: “The level of human suffering in Gaza is intolerable.”

They call for the release of the remaining hostages and recall that after the “heinous attack” on 7 October they believed that the Israeli state “had a right to defend Israelis against terrorism. But this escalation is wholly disproportionate”.

The Israeli news website Arutz Sheva reported Prime Minister Netanyahu’s response:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday evening issued a statement responding to the UK, Canada and France’s ultimatum to Israel to end the war in Gaza or face sanctions.

“By asking Israel to end a defensive war for our survival before Hamas terrorists on our border are destroyed and by demanding a Palestinian state, the leaders in London, Ottawa and Paris are offering a huge prize for the genocidal attack on Israel on October 7 while inviting more such atrocities,” he said.

“The war began on October 7 when Palestinian terrorists stormed our borders, murdered 1,200 innocent people and abducted over 250 more innocents to the dungeons of Gaza,” he added.

“Israel accepts President Trump’s vision and urges all European leaders to do the same. The war can end tomorrow if the remaining hostages are released, Hamas lays down its arms, its murderous leaders are exiled and Gaza is demilitarized. No nation can be expected to accept anything less and Israel certainly won’t,” Netanyahu stated.

“This is a war of civilization over barbarism. Israel will continue to defend itself by just means until total victory is achieved,” he concluded.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry says ‘British Mandate ended 77 years ago,’ outside pressure won’t ‘divert Israel from its path’ as UK suspends free trade talks

In what appears to be the first step towards punishing Israel, the British government, on Tuesday, suspended negotiations on a possible free trade deal with the country.

Foreign Secretary David “Lammy says the UK is suspending negotiations with the Israeli government on a new free trade agreement and is summoning the Israeli ambassador to the UK, Tzipi Hotovely, to the Foreign Office,” Sky News reported.

In response, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) called out the UK’s Labour government for halting talks that it had been pursuing half-heartedly. “Even prior to today’s announcement, the free trade agreement negotiations were not being advanced at all by the current UK government,” the MFA said in a statement.

Moreover, the UK would end up hurting its own economy by halting trade talks with the Start-Up Nation. “More than that, the agreement would serve the mutual benefit of both countries,” the Israeli foreign minister said. “If, due to anti-Israel obsession and domestic political considerations, the British government is willing to harm the British economy — that is its own prerogative.”

Britain, a former colonial master, no longer ruled over the region and was in no position to make demands on Israel as it fights for its survival against Islamic and Palestinian terrorism, the foreign ministry reminded. “The British Mandate ended exactly 77 years ago. External pressure will not divert Israel from its path in defending its existence and security against enemies who seek its destruction,” the MFA statement recalled.

Israel should give the UK the middle finger by attacking its base on Cyprus and give France the middle finger by attacking its UNIFIL forces in Lebanon.

She can give the middle finger to Canada by fully funding the Albertan independence movement.

In 2025 UK is ranked 6th with 1+ M men under arms. Israel is ranked 15.

UK has Trident based nuclear missile subs and nuclear attack subs. They also have 2 aircraft carriers. This doesn’t qualify as “almost no military left”.

The UK enabled the holocaust and bears a significant part of guilt in the murder of 6 million Jews. The Jewish people had sole sovereign rights to all of the Palestine Mandate in perpetuity, as codified by the League of Nations and the USA in 1922. The Anglo-Nazis never held sovereign rights to a centimeter of the mandate, yet blocked Jews who were in peril of their lives from escaping the Nazis in Europe to return to their homeland dating back 3600 years. David Lammy is a obese racist gor*lla, and he can go F himself.

I’m slowly reading Menachem Begin’s memoir The Revolt. In terrifying detail, he documents the UK’s strategy to let Jews die in Europe rather than let them enter Mandatory Palestine, as part of a plan to make their control permanent by keeping Jews a minority, secretly inciting Arab violence against them, keeping the Jews from defending themselves, then going to the League (or its successor) saying “See? You have to leave us in charge here permanently; we’re the only thing keeping the Jews from being slaughtered by the Arabs.”

ztakddot in reply to ahad haamoratsim. | May 21, 2025 at 3:02 pm

UK and France wanted to keep their empires. France got us into Vietnam basically. As for UK as I said earlier that had a Lawrence of Arabia fascination with the desert and arabs. Both the UK and US didn’t want Jewish immigrants from eastern europe, or more of them, except for well educated ones like nuclear scientists.

However arabs never needed incitement to kill Jews. You would know that better that I. There were arab pogroms against Jews probably since both groups started immigrating to the area in the 19th century.

It’s cute how they think they’re world powers.

North Pakistan, North Algeria and North Bangladesh say what?

“We will not stand by while the Netanyahu Government pursues these egregious actions,”

Then SIT DOWN and SHUT UP.

This is the predictable end result of wholesale, emasculated and morally bankrupt dhimmitude. The U.K., Canada and France are manifestly tossing Israel under the bus — and, sacrificing their principles and honor — in order to fecklessly kowtow to and appease their respective cohorts of restive, belligerent and subversive Islamofascists/Muslim supremacists.

These actions are a contemptible moral disgrace, undertaken by nations that have had their souls crushed under the Islamofascist bootheel.

guyjones in reply to guyjones. | May 20, 2025 at 12:46 pm

Would the U.K., France and Canada abide by other nation’s demands, if their respective borders had been invaded by foreign terrorists who then murdered, raped, kidnapped and tortured thousands of their citizens? I think not.

Eric R. in reply to guyjones. | May 20, 2025 at 5:36 pm

The perverse thing is that, in a way, the UK is being consistent. It does nothing despite mass rapes of their women by Muslim gangs.

What’s equally disgraceful is that foreign pressure is being exerted on Israel for its righteous and justified military action, but, not upon the vile and evil Hamas terrorist thugs, to release all hostages and bodies.

Their response reflects many centuries of genetically inherited emotions within almost all people of a Christian European background. Somewhere deep in their minds the Jew and the Roma are tribes which can and should be subjugated. When the Jew fights back it releases a deep shock inside of them.
Take this from a Jewish Bronx boy who watched his older brother not only beat crap out of them, and pushed them around.

Nothing gives me greater pleasure than telling the UK, Canada, and France that we Jews don’t have to take sh#t from them. They are nothing but Muslim dominated countries anyway,

ztakddot in reply to ahad haamoratsim. | May 21, 2025 at 3:04 pm

Frankly I have a poorer opinion of leftists than muslims. Leftists hate Israel and Jews because of the stupid intersectional theory that marks Jews as white affiliated oppressors that is all the rage in the circle. There is no excuse for adhering to such stupidity.

A lot of commenters on rightwing publications/social media sites laughed when labour won in Canada and earlier in the UK saying, ‘what difference does it make?’ This is the difference it makes. Placing rational leaders in charge of the more economically powerful countries, particularly leaders who are far less deferential to the aspiring Muslim caliphate is good for the west.

we need people willing/ready to go to work in the fields

they never mention that the welfare state keeps their own people safely unavailable for that work

    usa canada/france etc

the welfare state keeps the able bodied from having to work

and the uproar from the pro illegal/ legal migrant crowd insures that the fear of rioting will keep them and their policies in charge

Yep. The resistance to re- imposing a basic 20 hour per week work requirement for able bodied Adults is baffling. That many in the GoP Congress and elsewhere also oppose them is Cray Cray. No reason they couldn’t go into effect middle of next FY. Add to that enforcement of ‘public charge’ provisions that is supposed to deny assistance to Illegal Aliens. Do those and we’re getting to serious amounts of taxpayer money saved from abuse. Yet many on the ‘center/right’ will seek to defer, delay and avoid doing so b/c they don’t like it when wokiesta leftists call them names.

This tells one how much international aid money the Gazan Arab invaders from Arabia (dishonestly re-branded as “Palestinians) have squandered on materiel, infrastructure and weapons to wage their genocidal Islamic “holy war.” Hundreds of billions of dollars, over decades — money that could’ve been used to improve the lives of the Gazan citizens and to build a self-sufficient economy.

Does one hear a scintilla of criticism of the Gazans for this conduct, from European, leftist dhimmis and American Dhimmi-crats? Not one word. Crickets.

One of the reasons I have no problems with Ukrainians and Russians killing each other off is neither group, in fact slavs in general have also treated Jews poorly.

inspectorudy | May 20, 2025 at 2:52 pm

Isn’t it strange that those three countries now have a dwindling Jewish population because of fear? All three are being taken over by Muslims and other dangerous cults. None of the three has a military worth a damn and Israel could destroy them all if need be. If I were running Israel, I would add to the Star of David on their flag, FAFO!

Israel could not defeat France or the UK because of their nukes.

      jayjohnston1 in reply to Eric R.. | May 20, 2025 at 11:38 pm

Not that I could ever imagine these 3 cesspools of antisemitism would dare to bring their militarizes to contribute further to the destruction of Israel but Israel has nukes as well. In addition, to their own ballistic missiles which can carry nuclear warheads, Israel possesses submarines which can fire missiles with nuclear warheads (courtesy of Germany). Several of the most prominent scientists of the Manhattan project were Jewish Zionists. One in particular, Edward Teller, the father of the hydrogen bomb made more than 12 trips to Israel after it regained independence. So, it is strongly suspected Israel possesses H bombs. These weapons would be used only if Israel existence was truly in jeopardy. The Euro Nazis are not going to start a war over Hamas. Who would the Canuks send? The Royal Canadian Mounted Police?

The Gentle Grizzly | May 20, 2025 at 2:59 pm

This was to be expected from the UK, considering the muslims run the place now.

And, increasingly, obnoxious and subversive Islamofascist/Muslim supremacist influence is being felt in Canada and France, as well.

The Gentle Grizzly in reply to guyjones. | May 20, 2025 at 3:15 pm

Considering how much the French hate the Jews, I take some pleasure in seeing them being taken over, but on the other sise of the coin I don’t like seeing another white nation with western values disappear. It happened in Rhodesia and South Africa. Now France, the UK, and Germany. For all their faults they were less dangerous than the Caliphate.

Like the UK was ever a fiend to Israel or Jews even before the Muslim takeover.

I’d say it’s about time for the Palestinians to figure out that if you don’t think you can whoop a guy then you shouldn’t be stupid enough to attack him.

If all of Hamas in Gaza surrenders, goes into custody and return the remaining hostages, then Israel will stop hunting Hamas. Those three are owned by the Muzzies.

Paula in reply to venril. | May 20, 2025 at 4:07 pm

Israel will have to fight as long as Hamas keeps a comin’.

Well, how long will Hamas keep a comin’?

As long as Palestinian mothers keep having babies.

What does UK, Canada and France have to do with Israel fighting their enemies?

Oh I see. It makes sense now. They’re friends of Israel’s enemies.

I suppose if the UK, France and Canada are willing to place substantial ground forces (say 15K each) to occupy Gaza, police the ‘palestinians’, keep out ammo, arms and explosives, then set up an escrow account $250 Billion held by the USA to indemnify any/all.damages created by future attacks on Israel then maybe they can have a seat at the table and be listened to. Until they have such significant skin in the game they should STFU.

ztakddot in reply to CommoChief. | May 20, 2025 at 7:01 pm

Given their history I would expect the three to aid the gazans not police them.

I do like the escrow idea. Should do the same for China and Russia and get that fund up to 1T.

“ UK, Canada, France Gang Up On Israel, Demand Ending IDF Operation as Hamas Stalls Hostage Talks”
