Tulsi Gabbard Confirms Investigation into Dr. Anthony Fauci, Origins of Covid

Tulsi Gabbard Confirms Investigation into Dr. Anthony Fauci, Origins of Covid

The Director of National Intelligence tells SIRIUS podcast host Megyn Kelly that she’s working with Jay Bhattacharya and RFK Jr. to assess status gain-of-function research in laboratories worldwide as well.

Tulsi Gabbard, serving as the U.S. Director of National Intelligence (DNI), has initiated an official investigation into Dr. Anthony Fauci’s role in funding research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, specifically focusing on so-called “gain-of-function” research and its possible connection to the origins of covid.

This probe is being conducted by a newly established team within the intelligence community called the Directors’ Initiative Group (DIG). Gabbard is working alongside National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director Jay Bhattacharya and Health and Human Services (HHS)Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on this matter.

In an interview Thursday on former Fox News host Megyn Kelly’s podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show, Gabbard also said she wants to end so-called gain-of-function research in which scientists alter pathogens to make them more transmissible or deadly so they can study them.

Gabbard, like many in the Trump administration and Republicans in Congress, believes the pandemic was caused by a laboratory accident in Wuhan, China, rather than by the virus spilling over from animals to people, as many virologists say is more likely.

The administration last month launched a web page making the case that the pandemic originated in a Chinese lab and accusing former NIH official Anthony Fauci of covering it up.

The intriguing interview with Kelly touched on a wide array of important issues related to the origins of Covid:

  • Whether the U.S. government grants, particularly through the NIH and the nonprofit EcoHealth Alliance, funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab
  • Whether this research could be directly linked to the emergence of Covid.
  • Whether Dr. Anthony Fauci committed perjury by denying under oath that the NIH funded gain-of-function research in Wuhan

It appears like Fauci is going under the microscope.

Megyn Kelly: If that’s true, if it was Peter Daszak’s research with the Wuhan so-called bat lady that caused this pandemic, then we did fund it… Anthony Fauci helped fund the pandemic, a charge he denied over and over to Senator Rand Paul’s questioning.

Tulsi Gabbard: That’s right. Under oath. Exactly…

Gabbard also warned that gain-of-function research continues in biolabs worldwide, including those funded by the U.S. in Ukraine. She recounts being criticized for raising these concerns at the start of the Russia-Ukraine war, emphasizing the ongoing risk of future pandemics if such research is not halted.

“We are working with Jay Bhattacharya, the new NIH director, on this, as well as Secretary Kennedy, looking at the gain-of-function research that, in the case of the Wuhan lab, as well as many others around the world, many of these other biolabs were actually US-funded and led to this dangerous kind of research that, in many examples, has resulted in either a pandemic or some other major health crisis.

…”I got attacked, and I think you saw this, we’ve probably talked about on your show before, when I warned against US-funded biolabs in Ukraine when the Russia-Ukraine war kicked off, for this very reason—who knows what kinds of pathogens are in these labs, and if released, could create another COVID-like pandemic.

… “And for that, I was called a Russian asset, you know, trumpeting Putin’s talking points, all of this nonsense, simply for speaking the truth and stating facts that, by the way, are still on the US Embassy Ukraine’s website today about how the US has funded these biolabs in Ukraine.”

Kelly inquired why the U.S. intelligence community was slow and divided in acknowledging the lab-leak theory, a topic I have covered extensively for Legal Insurrection. Gabbard attributes this to the politicization of intelligence, where conclusions are sometimes shaped to fit policy objectives rather than facts.

Kelly: Why was the intelligence community so reluctant to just say that? Under Joe Biden, they were split. The FBI eventually said, “Well, we kind of think it was the lab,” and Department of Energy said “lab,” but then the other agencies were like, “No, we think more natural origin,” long past the point when it did not look like natural origin…

Gabbard: It’s a good question and I don’t have a specific answer to it, but I want to point to the contrast of how in some cases they are very unwilling to express a view or a certain opinion on something, and in other cases, even if they don’t have decisive or conclusive evidence, they’re very quick to come to an assumption. This gets to the real heart of the challenge here and the problems that we’ve seen: the politicization of intelligence to meet a certain objective or to influence a certain policy…

Brave of Kelly for asking solid questions, and to Gabbard for being transparent. I look forward to seeing what DIG digs up, especially related to Fauci and his attempts to hide the likely gain-of-function origin. We may see exactly how good the Biden 14-year pardon is.

Especially nail the ass of Donald Trump, who awarded Fauci with a Presidential Commendation for his work on warp speed supposedly fighting Covid. It’s in the White House records. Trump can deny it all he wants, but it is clear as day that he gave Fauci the Presidential Commendation. Nail his pitiful ass to the wall.

Your purpose comes forth. Abject hatred. Nothing positive to offer or say. What a lovely person you are showing yourself to be.

JR, once again you deliberately refuse to see the forest if you can concentrate on a single tree you think reinforces your prejudices.

In retrospect – confidence in Fauci, his advice, and other “expert”‘s advice that agreed in lockstep with him was misplaced.
        In retrospect.

Fauci lied. He lied about what the probable origin of Covid was, he lied about his culpability re: same was, he lied about what was and was not an effective and proportional response.

His (self-serving) advice resulted in untold unnecessary suffering as well as likely untold unnecessary deaths. And the vast majority of Mass Media as well as the vast majority of the Pharmaceutical-Industrial Complex helped him lie by shutting down debate and any criticism of what Fauci et Alia were selling.

We (by which I mean the sane among us – not you so much) now well realize that calling each and every opinion that differed from Fauci “misinformation” to refute it – rather than actually refuting it – was a perversion of science rather than “settled science”. No more logical or sensible than the lazy political projection tactic of calling every one who disagrees with your politics a “Nazi” while ignoring you yourself or your fellow travelers engaging in actual fascist tactics.

I don’t fault Trump for believing Fauci’s lies at the start of COVID, I do fault you and any others who defend Fauci to this day or see everything thru the filter of OMB sunglasses.

Cheesus, JR. Trump didn’t award Fauci for conducting GoF research. At the time Fauci was awarded (for work on the vaxxes that you likely still support, so you’re a hypocrite, but that wouldn’t be a surprise), the natural origin theory was still being promoted by most “authorities.” Fauci, to people like you, had reached god-like status. People who were hating on him even then (like me) were being called “conspiracy theorists.” There’s nothing consistent about your posts except your rabies-level TDS, because you have no logic or internal consistency in what you post.

Care to explain (I know, seeking reason and logic from you is a huge ask) why Trump should be “nailed” for awarding Fauci for something which, in theory, should have been a triumph (and was seen as such by many at the time)? Trump didn’t direct anyone to create mRNA vaccines. The contracts with Big Pharma required only “vaccines.” Big Pharma came up with the “mRNA” idea. (And had Trump said, “None of that!” you would have been posting about how ignorant he is and his “anti-science” attitude.)

But I do love you, JR. You’re low-hanging fruit. Easy pickings, even with half my brain tied behind my back.

Trump gave the people what they asked for: a vaccine. A large percentage of people who took the vaccine WANTED to. Trump himself took it, especially after a close friend of his died from Covid. People were bamboozled, people I care about included. It is a difficult thing to believe when working with someone that the person is evil. Fauci was convincing to millions.
        Sickening! I don’t blame Trump.

Fauci’s going to jail! ( GUTBUST)

Not much different, in essence, than the Chinese wet market deception to hide origins. Gives Mengele a run for the money.

Imagine if they ever find communications that these wrongdoers (CCP/Whuhan and Fauci./EcoAlliance) colluded after after the fact to make up the story and then destroy anyone that did not fall into line.

I’d also like to understand how it is that federal government employees can be paid royalties on drugs that are developed under their supposed regulatory supervision. And they’re not even required to disclose these payments. I can’t imagine a more sickening conflict of interest.

Supervision! Hah! Fauci provided tax money and for that got a cut of the pie. Do you actually think he contributed anything to the development of these drugs? I don’t.

Even if they did somehow contribute, they’re government employees so why would they personally gain? And how on earth could that be happening while they have regulatory oversight responsibility? It reeks of massive corruption.

This is how it can happen. I know this list because I have a tenuous connection with someone who discovered a drug. He worked for a university at the time and of course he was government funded. While the drug gets productized by pharma the university gets royalties because of the discovery. The university then often but not always turns around and personally reward the researcher for the discovery, This is to act as an incentive and does make sense.

However, Fauci is an admin type. I doubt he make any contributions and if he got royalties it’s a travesty. Of course this happens in big business all the time. I had a lot of managers and their managers who got stock option awards for things I did while I got bupkis. The bigger the company and the more layers of management the greater the probability of this happening.

Oh, that’s easy. They can do it because there’s no rule, regulation or law that says they can’t. And even if there were a rule, regulation or law they’d simply ignore it because they know nothing will happen if they’re caught with their name on a patent and collecting royalties.

Seems odd that those in charge of regulating companies get payoffs from them. How do you think Fauci managed to plunk down $15,000,000 for a mansion on the Potomic?

Here’s a pertinent question: what happened to those secret biolabs they found in Commufornica, like this one?

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2023/07/31/illegal-lab-california-infectious-mice/70502532007/

I haven’t heard a peep, and the odds that there are others is quite high.

“🚨HOLY SH*T!! … The biolabs in Ukraine are REAL!”

Well, of course they are. It was prominent members of The Swamp themselves who publicly screamed, “we can’t let Putin reach our biolabs!” on the day of the invasion, before they realized they were putting their own heads in nooses and had better keep their mouths shut and issue marching orders to their presstitutes to memory-hole that Kodak moment. And it was never spoken of again.

the demvid19 was an experiment on AMERICANS ABILITY TO RESIST THE REAL VIRUS

GOVERNMENT INTRUSION
and how would they respond

trump tried but in (trying) keeping with legalities /custom he allowed the armies of the left to subvert the american way via capitalism

instead we got enslavement by the veterans of such aka the left

the plantation mastas continued their traditions ,albeit, not as dominant as they once were,,but effective enough to temporarily overthrow maga agenda

the price we have paid continues to haunt us

In 2019, Trump was squeezing China, and then C-19 leaked – cutting his tariff war short. Coincidence?? In 2025, Trump is squeezing China much harder than he did 6 years ago. He is also squeezing Ukraine and Russia. Will something much worse than C-19 leak in 2025?

I suspect China is accelerating development of viruses for the invasion of Taiwan, and the pedal has also been pushed to the metal in Ukraine’s biolabs, since Ukraine is losing. Rushed development makes a leak more likely, even if the leak isn’t deliberate.
