Maine Teacher Gets Attention of Secret Service With Alleged Social Media Threats to Trump and His Supporters

A high school teacher in Waterville, Maine, has come to the attention of the U.S. Secret Service after she posted a message on social media that appeared to threaten Trump and his supporters.
It’s amazing how comfortable some people on the left are when it comes to invoking violence over politics simply because they didn’t get their way.

A Maine high school English teacher’s Facebook posts went viral after she called on the U.S. Secret Service to “take out” people who support President Donald Trump’s “illegal, immoral, unconstitutional acts” and also called for the president’s death.
“The Secret Service has the perfect opportunity, if they choose to step up and take it,” Waterville Senior High School teacher JoAnna St. Germain wrote on Tuesday. “You are the ones with power. Coordinate. Take out every single person who supports Trump’s illegal, immoral, unconstitutional acts. Look at the sycophants and give them what they’re asking for. Every other country sees what’s happening and they are taking stands. If you step up, we can avoid a civil war.”
She added that she was “not talking about assassinating a president” because a president is “a person duly elected” while Trump is heading “a fascist dictatorship.”
“Secret Service, you are Americans. My beloved military, you are Americans. We, the people, are counting on you. If I had the skill set required, I would take them out myself. I’m making this post public for a reason, I promise you. Don’t waste time wondering if I’m okay. I’m not. If you’re okay, you’re lying to yourself,” she closed.

The teacher further said that she’s aware she might lose her job, but is “not backtracking a single thing.”
“I believe Trump and every sycophant he has surrounded himself with (this is not you – if you’re reading this, this doesn’t apply to you. You are beneath his notice and mine) needs to die,” St. Germain’s post read. “I believe this with the same forceful belief that Hitler and his sycophants needed to die, before they murdered 6 million innocent Jewish persons.”

Jo-Anna St. Germain thinks in grand terms. Hitler was just a shirker compared to this woman’s vision. Hitler had to start WWII in order to be credited with causing about 80 million deaths. She thinks the Secret Service could approach those numbers, one bullet at a time. I guess she’s unconcerned about how to deal with the rotting corpses in the streets, as there’s no way to process that number of casualties. There would be a huge explosion of rats and disease. Gee, it’s possible some liberals would get sick, too.

As a government employee, she can’t be fired for saying this, unless it interferes with her ability to do her job. If she’s teaching high school students, and the students are aware of these opinions she has, then that probably would make it hard for her to teach them, so she could be fired; but if she’s mostly working in a back office at the school, or if they can easily put her in such a position, then they can’t fire her.

I have to believe that a public school teaching position is simply a jobs program for failed individuals…there doesn’t appear to be any solid standards for hiring a teacher, except that they’re progressive leftists…no IQ test, no intelligence metrics, or mental health evaluations…and once they’re hired, there’s almost no way to fire them…much like federal, state, and local government employees.
Bottom line is the losers and dregs in our society get government jobs…and public schools are now chocked full of people just like her.
