Just a few days ago, it was reported that people who live in Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s district are tired of seeing her run around the country with Bernie Sanders while she does nothing for them.
Now it is being reported that crime in AOC’s district is surging, and is even more than double the average rate for the rest of the city. At what point do her constituents finally reach their limit?

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Bronx and Queens district since the ‘defund the police’ socialist lawmaker took office in 2019 — more than double the citywide increase of 30% over that same span, a Post analysis of NYPD data shows.The 110th Precinct in Queens, which covers part of the infamous “Market of Sweethearts” human-trafficking and prostitution mecca on Roosevelt Avenue, saw a 105% surge, the highest increase of any NYC precinct in that period.Major crimes consist of murder, rape, robbery, felony assault, burglary, grand larceny and auto theft.The 115th Precinct, which also serves part of Roosevelt Avenue in addition to Jackson Heights, East Elmhurst, and north Corona, saw major offenses rise by 85%.The other four precincts in her Queens-Bronx congressional district similarly saw major-crime increases higher than the citywide average.Some residents blamed the increasingly lawlessness squarely on the no-show lawmaker.“She’s not doing s–t. She doesn’t live in the neighborhood, she doesn’t care,” vented Elmhurst resident Guadelupe Alvarez, who has lived in the 110th Precinct her whole life and is one of several constituents who ripped the jet-setting absentee “Squad” member for letting the district turn to “trash” while she focuses on elevating herself on the national stage.
In related news, it was just reported that officials in AOC’s district shut down a brothel that was located near two schools. People involved in the operation noted that they did this without any support from AOC.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s red-light district has been shut down by the NYPD after months of advocacy by local leaders who say the progressive lawmaker did nothing to help them close it.Nicknamed the “bodega brothel” by locals, the establishment was operating on the second floor of a local bodega just off the Roosevelt Avenue strip in Queens, where prostitutes are known for openly soliciting sex on sidewalks, local Democratic district leader Hiram Monserrate told Fox News Digital.Video from inside the brothel reveals five cramped, makeshift rooms divided by wooden panels and shower curtains, each just large enough to hold a bed.The bodega is located across the street from two public schools, and students have been forced to walk past the sex workers outside the brothel on their way to and from class for months. An hour before Ocasio-Cortez’s town hall earlier this month, Fox News Digital observed children walking by with their parents as three women stood outside.
What AOC has done with her House seat is straight out of the Elizabeth Warren playbook. She used a local position as nothing more than a springboard to launch herself as a national figure who focuses on national issues.
The trouble with this is that the people you were elected to represent eventually notice it.
