Trump: ‘If the Talks Fail, Iran is Going to be in Great Danger’
Trump won’t guarantee he’d eliminate tariffs on Israel since we give the country billions but promised to “take care of our friends (Israel), and stop taking care of our enemies and only take care of our friends.”

President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed many subjects during their joint press conference at the White House.
President Trump has been a remarkable friend of the State of Israel. 🇮🇱🇺🇸
He has been a great champion of our alliance. We are working together to bring our hostages home – all of them.@realDonaldTrump pic.twitter.com/8IgMb6YYbI

Iran
Better cooperate, Iran! Trump had some harsh words for the country and direct negotiations begin on Saturday.
Trump hates war, but he knows that sometimes, it is necessary:
REPORTER: A lot of people think those talks won’t lead anywhere because the Iranians will never truly commit. If diplomacy fails, is the United States—under your leadership—prepared to take military action to destroy Iran’s nuclear program and remove that threat?
TRUMP: I think that’s a possibility. If the talks fail, Iran is going to be in great danger. And I hate to say it—great danger—because they cannot have a nuclear weapon.
REPORTER: So is that a yes?
TRUMP: You know, it’s not a complicated formula: Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. That’s all there is to it. They just can’t have one.
Now, we already have countries with nuclear capabilities that shouldn’t have them, but I’m confident we’ll be able to negotiate that down the line as well. But with Iran—it’s simple. If the talks succeed, that’s great. If not, I think it’ll be a very bad day for Iran.

Tariffs
Trump didn’t come out and say he’ll eliminate the tariffs on Israel but it might happen.
But Trump is correct. We do give Israel a lot of money.
Netanyahu said Israel will eliminate the trade deficit with America.
Trump ended by saying:
“but we'll take care of our friends (Israel), and stop taking care of our enemies and only take care of our friends.” https://t.co/TCWv3jcW1b

Netanyahu: "We will eliminate the trade deficit with the United States. We intend to do it very quickly. We think it's the right thing to do and we're going to also eliminate trade barriers… and I think Israel can serve as a model for many countries who ought to do the same." pic.twitter.com/55U1xOd5bx

Turkey
Trump said he would help Israel if Turkey’s anti-Semite dictator, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, gave the country any problems.
But he stressed to Netanyahu that he has to be reasonable.
Trump to Netanyahu: “If you ever have an issue with Turkey, I can help resolve it — but you need to be reasonable.” https://t.co/8T63Esu9bL

Netanyahu: “We do not want to clash with Turkey in Syria.
Türkiye has a good relationship with President Trump.
We discussed how to prevent this conflict with Turkey.
I believe there’s no better mediator than Trump.” pic.twitter.com/ZNIQpUOCe0

Israel and Gaza
The war wouldn’t happen overnight. Hamas still has hostages and there are many innocent people around.
Trump hates war. He absolutely hates it. He is one of the few presidents I can think of who truly wants to do everything he can to ensure situations don’t get worse.
REPORTER: “Many Palestinian-Americans voted for you because you promised them to end the war in Gaza. The war is still going on.”
TRUMP: “The war will stop at some point that won't be in the too distant future.” pic.twitter.com/URHXvnn60A

Trump: "I said to [he former hostages, was there any sign of love? Did Hamxs show any signs of, like, help or liking you? Did they give you a piece of bread extra? Did they give you a meal on the side? Like what happened in Germany?”
“They said – no… they slapped us” pic.twitter.com/4bZIGmPJXm

Trump doesn’t understand why Israel gave up the Gaza Strip in 2005. Most of us don’t get any of the concessions Israel has ever made to her enemies.
I like the idea of calling the strip Freedom Zone:
TRUMP: “You know how I feel about the Gaza Strip. I think it’s an incredible piece of important real estate. And I think it’s something that we would be involved in. Having a peace force like the US there controlling and owning the Gaza Strip would be a good thing … you call it the Freedom Zone.”

iran with a nuke
orrrrrrr
lefty in charge of america???
Id let Israel contain iran
but whose gonna contain the communistnazi onslaught in america!?????
In an ideal world the entire Western Hemisphere would contain Iran.
However as it is, much of the Western Hemisphere actually has views of Jews that align with Iran and its terrorist proxies so the job is left to Israel and America and a couple other fair weather friends I would trust further than I can kick Saturday nights pick up from the bed Sunday morning.
So the US controls the GAZA strip?
How is the going to work when we get a democrat back in office again?
I don’t trust our future leaders to not cock it up.
Because it’s worked so well so far right?
This seems to be the problem we have today where we keep doing the same shit time and time again and then are surprised when things go exactly as they have every previous time before.
Time to try something different.
If you don’t want to give Israel 4 billion a year then don’t give it, nobody’s holding a gun to the presidents head to do it. What does that have to do with tariffs that Israel already indicated it is reducing to zero?
Not to mention that this country benefits from the aid it provides Israel. That’s presumably why it provides the aid on the first place.
No one can say that Trump did not give them opportunity to come to the table.
